3: Roll your eyes

"Whats taking you so long?" Jongkook questions looking back at Taehyung who is struggling to keep up with him.

"You are walking at a hundred miles per hour" Taehyung stops to catch his breath "I signed up for getting something to eat, not running to catch a stranger"

"A stranger?!?" Jungkook acts offended "We live together now Taehyung"

"We've lived together for forty five minutes"  Taehyung says, Jungkook puts his hands in his pockets.

"Longest forty-five minutes of my life" Jungkook mumbles

"What?" Taehyung asks looking over at Jungkook

"I said I want a hamburger" Jungkook fast walks to the door of the first fast food restaurant he sees and he opens it letting Taehyung walk in first. They both walk up to the courter and already knowing what he wants Jungkook goes to order his burger and large fries. Taehyung looks over the menu

"Do you need glasses or something" Jungkook rolls his eyes at Taehyung who is taking way to long.

"He will have the same" Jungkook says and before Taehyung could protest he takes out his wallet and passes a ten dollar bill to the lady. "find a table" he says and Taehyung obeys him.

Jungkook slightly nods his head as the lady places his change in his hand, he puts the change away and waits for a few minutes until the food is all placed on a tray, he picks it up and sets off to find his new roommate. The only kid in the school he can't seem to find anything to steal from. He sees him sitting in a booth in the middle of the place. He places the tray down and slides into his seat.

"What if I was vegetarian" Taehyung says about Jungkook ordering for him.

"Well are you?" Jungkook questions as he grabs his hamburger and unwraps the white paper covering it.

"No"

"Then eat" and with that Jungkook bites his burger. Taehyung sighs before grabbing his.

"Its good right" Jungkook says, food in his mouth.

"I haven't tried it yet"

"You mean you've never been to a fast food place?"

"No" Taehyung admits, his parents would never take him to one. Unlike Jungkook who's family practically used to live off of fast food.

Taehyung looks at the hamburger, it looks good, he thinks. His mouth starts to water thinking about it. Jungkook is fascinated by Taehyung's fascination on an object of food. Jungkook grabs a handful of fries.

"Are you going to eat that because if not I will" Jungkook raises an eyebrow waiting for an answer.

"I am" Taehyung says and he unwraps it and takes his first bite.

Jungkook takes his last bite and continues eating his fries as Taehyung slowly finishes his.

"So, you're one of the smartest students" Jungkook says

"I am" Taehyung says not denying it.

"Do you consider me one of your rivals?" Jungkook questions

"Aren't you new?" Taehyung questions not even knowing how smart or dumb Jungkook is.

"I am, but let me tell you this, I'm sneaky"

"Doesn't make you smart" Taehyung mumbles

"I'll prove it to you Taehyung" Jungkook says

"I'll be waiting...Why did you move to this school?" Taehyung asks looking up at Jungkook, their eyes meet.

"I needed change" Taehyung nods as if he understood. But Jungkook doesn't need the kind of change Taehyung thinks, he didn't need a new place, a place to start over he needed change, coins, money. Whats a better place to find that than a private school with a bunch of stuck up kids with lots of money. He saved up enough, stolen, money to get in.

"Change is good" Taehyung says finishing his last bite.

Jungkook gets some ketchup on his hand and licks it. Taehyung practically throws a napkin at him.

"Change is good, amazing" Jungkook agrees with a smile thinking of all the lose coins these people drop on a daily basis.

"So Hoya kicked you out" Taehyung starts a new subject trying to see what he has to deal with.

"Not exactly, he just didn't like my style of living"

"Which is...?"

"He said I was too messy, that was like the only reason, really" Jungkook says thinking of earlier that morning when Hoya himself bought some boxes, talked to the dean and asked Jungkook to pack, Hoya had never had a roommate before and just couldn't get himself to adapt with such a messy individual. Hoya can't even deal if his sock fell off in his sleep and landed on the floor. Hoya doesn't hate Jungkook, he just couldn't bare the thought of living with his floor fully covered by clothes one day.

"We should set rules of living together" Taehyung suggests as he dips a fry in ketchup

"Rule one...No rules" Jungkook says and Taehyung shakes his head

"Rule one, clean up your messes, rule two no girls, rule three..We can make more rules"

"Fine if thats what you really want, no girls are interested in me anyways" Jungkook says with a shrug

"Really?" Taehyung says shocked, too shocked.

"You don't need to say it like that, yes really" but Jungkook is okay with it, he's not interested in stuck up girls anyways and from what he has seen this school is full of them. On his first day he saw a girl who's arms were basically covered in a thousands of dollars worth of bracelets she could have gotten a way cheaper version of. they were plan bracelets with one small symbol on each which made the pice go from $20 to $2000 a piece. Jungkook stole one, watched for her reaction when she came back in the room. She put all her bracelets back on and didn't even realize one was missing. She didn't care enough about them. Then there are girls like Seoyeon who keep track of everything because of her parents and their cheap ways of not wanting anyone else touching what is theres. Those may be the people Jungkook hates the most. He knew that was how her parents felt, he over heard her saying that she would die if someone stole something of hers, even if she bought an exact replacement she would cry. Then buy two more. That got Jungkook heated. He vowed to himself to steal more but that time never came because she moved away in a blink of an eye.

"So how was the school you used to go to?" Taehyung asks not really knowing what to ask Jungkook.

"It was okay" It was a normal public school with people who are twice your side stealing your lunch money even if it is invisible. By you I mean Jungkook, kids would try getting his lunch money when he didn't even have any. His lip would be bloody once a month until they realized he really had nothing, the bully thought that every pretty boy was rich.

Sensing the conversation going no where Taehyung shifts uncomfortably.

"Well it was nice getting to know you" Jungkook jokes with a little laugh. The awkward vibe slightly shifting.

"Yeah you too" Taehyung smiles a little and they both laugh a little.

"Shit I got ketchup on my shirt" Jungkook says and Taehyung gasps

"Jungkook, there are children here"

Jungkook looks around

"They are like ten tables away" Jungkook says he gets up

"Where are you going??" Taehyung questions

"To the bathroom to get water to clean this"

"Dab dont rub" Taehyung says and Jungkook looks at him weirdly

"Okay mom" Jungkook says grabbing a napkin and making his way to the bathroom. Taehyung cleans up all their trash and then sits back in his seat waiting for Jungkook to return.
