Luke's POV

It all happened so fast.

I was dancing with Clara and it was great. I silently gave my thanks to the cocktails that she drank because they somehow made her brave to do this with me.

Then she suddenly stopped with her hand on her mouth.

I stopped moving and looked at her.

"Clara? What's wrong?" I asked, suddenly alert.

She shook her head and pushed me away from her as she turned the other way and ran, leaving me in the middle of the dance floor standing alone and speechless.

I saw the top of her head snake through the crowd and go inside the bathroom. I should've known this would happen. She downed 5 tall glasses of cocktail so fast.

I wanted to help her since she's by herself but it was the ladies' bathroom. I couldn't go inside. So I stood still in the corner, waiting for her to come out. And when she did, I'm going to get a cab to take her home and get her to bed. She'll probably have a massive headache tomorrow.

As I looked around me and watched the people on the club dancing, someone tapped my shoulder.

"Luke!"

You've got to be kidding me right now.

"Florence." I said.

"What'cha doin'?" she giggled.

Then I noticed her flushed cheeks and red eyes. She's drunk.

"Waiting for Clara." I said as I helped her keep a steady feet and not tumble down.

"Clara. Hmmm.....Why are ya even with ....Clara?" she slurred her words.

I looked around us, "Where's the guy you were dancing with before?"

"He left for some burrrnette chick." Florence hiccuped.

"'Brunette'? "

"Yep!" she giggled uncontrollably, bumping to a guy on her right.

"Okay. I need to call one of the guys to get you home. Maybe Ashton." I said as I reached on my pocket to grab my phone.

I dialed Ashton's number and waited for him to answer. But he wasn't answering. I tried it again but still no answer.

"Dammit." I whispered as I felt Florence slumped in my arms and dropped her whole weight on me.

So I half dragged, half-carried her to the VIP balcony where everyone else was to get her home. But when we were at the foot of the steps, Florence woke up in my arms.

"Oh, my hero." she whispered and smiled.

Then she grabbed my neck and pulled me in for a kiss.

Oh fuck! What the hell!

I tried to push her away but the girl was strong.

Then I felt someone staring at me behind my back. I don't know how but it was so strong that it made me break away from Florence's grasp. I turned around and saw her.

"Clara, it's not what you think." I said to her.

But she just ran towards the entrance/exit and left me with Florence.

"Clara! Wait!"  I shouted across the club. As if on cue, Ashton arrived by my side and took Florence away from my grasp.

"Go!" Ashton told me.

So I went and chased Clara outside.

But when the cold night air hit my lungs and looked around me, there was no sign of her.

I went to the guard and asked him, "Hey. Have you seen a girl with wavy dark blonde hair, wearing a dark blue dress come outside?"

He nodded, "Yeah. She just went on a cab and drove that way."

"Alright. Thanks man." Then I quickly raised my hand to find a cab of my own and follow Clara back to our place.

When I arrived at the house, I saw lights in our room and quickly ran up there.

I found her standing in our room with her purse on her hand, ready to leave.

"Clara, please. Let me explain."

Not that I blame you. I mean it IS a bad move.

Anyway, sorry for the short chapter. I couldn't really think of anything else. Honestly, i apologize for being a sucky writer.
