Don't Lead, I'll Wander Off Bored

"Where are we going?" Sidearms asked as Shadow led him away from the car and the campsite. "There's a waterfall about two or three miles down this trail." Shadow says, walking down a dirt path into the woods. Sidearms quickens his step and walks slightly behind Shadow. They walk in silence. The only sounds were their feet crunching the leaves and dirt, as well as their breathing in the cold. Sidearms shivered in his thick coat, teeth chattering. "Don't freeze to death, okay?" Shadow grumbled, glancing back with concern in his eyes. "I've just never been camping before, I'm not D20." Sidearms responded, still shivering. "No, Mr. Camptastic is the expert, but I'm determined for you to have at least some fun." Shadow declared, pulling his arms out of his jacket sleeves. "What are you doing?" Sidearms asked, concerned that Shadow would get sick. Shadow took his jacket off, stopped, turned, and started taking off Side's coat. "What are you doing?!" Sidearms started freaking out, his cheeks turning a dark red as Shadow's slim fingers undid his coat. Shadow held Side's coat in his hand, and started putting his jacket on Side. When Shadow finished putting Side's coat back on him, Side had a blush that went all the way to his ears. "Shadow, you're gonna freeze." Sidearms whined, as Shadow started walking again, only a long-sleeved shirt covering his torso. "I'll be fine, this weather is nothin." Shadow said as Sidearms caught up with him. Sidearms still walked a bit behind Shadow, letting him lead the way. Sidearms's mind wandered, Shadow's muscles were more defined without his jacket on. Sidearms blushed and shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. Another path was coming up on the left of them. Even from where he was Sidearms could see a meadow full of colors at the end of the other trail. Sidearms stopped at the start of the trail, even as Shadow continued down the main path. Side walked at a quick pace down the small path. He stopped and his mouth opened in awe at the rainbow and more that covered the variety of flowers. He started walking forward slowly, watching the way the stems swayed from the wind. He smiled at a flower known as a Narcissus Riot Daffodil. This specific flower was red in the middle and white around the edges. It made Sidearms think of his logo letters outlined like the letters on Shadow's logo. He picked a few of the beautiful flower and put one behind both of his ears, still having a two left in his hands. "Side! Where the fuck did you go?" Shadow yelled, spotting him from the side of the meadow, running over to his slightly shorter friend. "Sorry Beatz, I got kinda bored and sorta made my way over here." Sidearms shrugged, feeling a bit bad from the concern in Shadow's voice. "It's fine, should have warned you about the ladybugs." Shadow shrugged back. "What?!" Side shrieked, looking all over himself with frightened eyes. "Alright chill man, I'm sorry, didn't know it would scare you that much." Shadow said sheepishly, putting his hands on Side's shoulders. Sidearms calmed, stareing into Shadow's blue eyes. "You're great, Shadow, you truly are." Side smiled and giggled.
