So, as I've mentioned in my apply fic discord, I've considered taking down Don't Play with Dead Things for re-writes. Usually I would not do this with apply fics, since so many people are like actually waiting for updates, but honestly you aren't going to get those updates faster if I just left it as. They'll just be...kind of crap. 

Nothing will be changed. All characters who got in are still in, so don't worry about that. I'm mostly just changing things so that everyone actually gets their chance to shine.

Hey! If anyone is wanting still wanting to apply, let me know. I just learned I'm  going to be busy the night of the 17th, so if no one else plans to apply I might be closing a day or two early. Just to make sure it closest while I can still be on and help with any questions.

Since I've gotten most of the updates for the Ainsworths, I am planning to update the introduction page with info on them for those who haven't read the original book.

Wanted to let you know so you weren't confused when I suddenly "uploaded" the introduction. It's nothing big. Just some stuff that'll be useful for anyone who plans to write opinions when the cast comes out.

After today, you'll officially have a week left to apply! Seven days. Feel free to take the entire time, I'm open for waiting until the end of the 17th and another day if you really did it. However I want to warn you that I do start looking at characters in this time. You know, working to see how much they inspire me. So I'd suggest getting them in as soon as possible.

Part two. I'm moving the due date to March 17th. That gives you two weeks (from this date) which should be plenty of time.

So it's officially time for the weekly reminder! Forms are due April 1st.

However, I am considering moving it forwards. Either to March 24th or 17th, depending on if going down two weeks seems like too much or not.

See, I'm sort of at the point where applications have died off a lot, I have a lot of good ones, and I really want to write.

But I don't want to just do that without asking you guys. For all I know there were people who wanted to apply, but need the whole month. So...thoughts?

I was going to wait because four days doesn't seem like a long time before an update. Except I've actually gotten a lot of applications. For four days, anyways.

And first of all, I absolutely love the applications! Ah! Once again, there is such a wide variety.

Literally the only suggestion I can give (aside from keep up the good work!) is I need applications who have relationships with someone who was related (and maybe where the one who had them resurrected?) Most of the applications seem to be part of the resurrected, and then a couple are just curious. And I sort of want to show all three points of views.

Obviously you can apply with whatever you want! It's definitely not close enough to the deadline that I'm going to say "only apply with this kind of character." I just like to throw out ideas once I start seeing trends in applications, since I know I always appreciate when authors are open about what they're looking for. :)
