{13} I Live for the Applause, Applause, Applause

***

Something that Hiromi had to admit was that Iida was absolutely hilarious when he was by himself. The girls had left Midoriya to deal with Bakugou while they found Iida to do their part of the plan. It took a little to find him, but they eventually found him on one of the top floors with the weapon by his side. Hiromi had motioned for Uraraka to hide near a support beam near the window while she hide behind a support beam farther away.

Just when Uraraka was going to report to Midoriya that they were at the weapon, the girl was cut off. Now, this is where the funny part came in. Iida started talking to himself and he was making some pretty good points at first, "Bakugou definitely has a villainous side. And that's exactly what we need to succeed in this mission," The boy hummed. "I need to temporarily devote myself to criminal intent," Staring at his hand, Iida had this look of conviction on his face, "Yes, I won't fail this trial and risk bringing shame down on the Iida family name," His hand tightened into a fist. "That means... I must now embrace evil... To become a hero!" This was when Hiromi almost couldn't stop her amusement. Iida moved his gaze directly in front of him with one wide eye visible for the girl to see, "Behold! I am the personification of villainy." A cackle, almost a villainous one, escaped from him.

That was when Hiromi lost it. She snorted to herself and said, "I sincerely doubt that." Come on, Iida? A villain? Or even acting like one? That was hard to believe. The boy acted with so much moral discipline that it would be impossible to even fathom him being a villain. He had so much moral discipline that Hiromi couldn't even imagine him in the ADA. The detectives in the ADA were all good people, sure... But they had some very questionable morals. Even Kunikia.

Instead of having to reveal herself to Iida as she had originally planned, her laugh and remark caught his attention. Iida froze and turned in her direction. He let out a hum, "Kawakami, is that you?"

And there it was with calling her by her last name again. She told him not to do that. That wasn't important now. What was important was distracting him so Uraraka could retrieve the weapon. Hiromi smirked to herself before stepping out slowly with a look of fake nervousness. She had her hands raised and gave him a sheepish look, "Surprise?"

Placing a hand on his hip, Iida pointed at her like a cartoon villain would, "I knew you would come here alone the instant that Bakugou ran off by himself and engaged with Midoriya," He did another classic laughing villain pose. It took everything in Hiromi to try and take him seriously. "Though I expected Uraraka to come with you. Her Quirk allows her to float anything that she touches," He clenched his hand into a fist. "But I've prepared for that," Motioning to the cleaned-out room, he exclaimed, "By hiding every object in this room so she had nothing to use against me, do-gooder!" Once again, Iida pointed at her. "It still helps so you have nothing to throw at me with your wind quirk! You've blundered, hero!" More evil laughter ensued.

Well, he was smart which was expected of Iida. Clearing out the room would hinder Uraraka's quirk, there's no denying that. But for him to think that it would also work with her ability? That's where he was wrong. Everyone thought that she had a wind quirk, but she had so much more than that. Hiromi smirked, "Yeah, we'll see about that." Oh, she was definitely going to show him how much of an error he had made.

Or she would've liked to. The two of them had ended up being distracted by a loud blast. It sounded like it had come from downstairs. Hiromi had immediately pinned it on Bakugou's quirk. It seemed like Iida had too seeing as he reached up to his communication device to find out what was going on from Bakugou, "Bakugou. Answer me! What is going on down there? Did you cause that blast?"

This was the perfect opportunity. Hiromi raised her eyebrow. Was he really forgetting that she was right there in front of him? Ready to attack him at any moment? "Hasn't anyone ever taught you about how bad getting distracted can be?" The green-haired girl found herself asking. She whispered to herself as she activated her ability, "Strange Weather In Tokyo."

The next thing that Iida knew, he was being flung into a wall nearby by Hiromi's wind. His back made contact with the wall and he fell to the ground, letting out a grunt at the sudden impact. He didn't let that keep him down. He only got right back up, "I have to commend you. You were able to use my being distracted to your advantage."

"I'll have you applauding me by the time this fight's over." Hiromi felt her posture straighten, showing the superiority that she felt in the situation. It was obvious that she had the upper hand. Iida's quirk was his speed and Hiromi's ability could interfere with that given she made the winds strong enough.

While Hiromi had been thinking to herself, Iida let out a gasp. This caught Hiromi's attention and she looked in the direction he had been staring at. He had seen Uraraka heading straight for the weapon. Iida ran toward Uraraka with his arms wide open, "Not so fast, Hero!"

Acting quickly, Hiromi shouted, "I don't think so!" She threw her hand out.

Dark clouds formed above them and thunder could be heard. Lightning shot out of the clouds which made Iida hesitate for a moment as multiple bolts of lightning stood in his way. Finally, he raced forward, avoiding the bolts of lightning as they tried to obstruct his path. While Hiromi was keeping Iida distracted with her lighting, Uraraka grunted, touching her fingertips together. Within seconds, she was floating above the ground and Iida, avoiding Hiromi's lightning as well.

This action caused Iida to stare at the girl with surprise, "Since when can she make herself float?"

"Release!" Uraraka placed her hands together in a triangle formation.

Engines came out of the back of Iida's calves. Using the engines, Iida was able to propel himself forward and past Hiromi's lightning. This caused the girl to try and use her wind to stop him but noticed that Uraraka was also being affected. This made her stop. Iida grabbed the weapon and Uraraka let out a yelp as she landed on the ground. Iida had taken the weapon which had been where she had originally tried to land. Uraraka landed on the floor, rolled a few times, and then hit a wall.

One hand on the weapon, Iida turned to Uraraka, "Admirable attempt, but your Quirk's no threat if you can't touch anything. I can easily keep this weapon out of your reach until time runs out," Iida let out a villainous laugh. All of a sudden, more blasts happened below the three. One, in particular, caused the windows to break and it made a huge hole in each of the floors of the building. Hiromi had found herself losing her footing for a moment as the hole opened up right before her. She took a step back and looked around. Looking at all of the debris, an idea hit her. Hiromi dragged Uraraka's attention to her and then moved the brunette's gaze to the debris. The girl had immediately caught on. Iida let out a gasp as he noticed something, "What's happening?"

The thing he had noticed was Uraraka. She had taken Hiromi's advice and held a huge piece of one of the support beams in her hands. She used her quirk on it to make it weightless so it would be easier to hold. "This is it! Sorry, Iida," Uraraka rushed forward. "Improvised special move: the Comet Home Run!" Swinging the support beams, pieces of debris went flying toward Iida.

The boy tried to reason with her at first, "In the name of villainy, I demand that you stop this!"

"Do you really think that's going to work?" Hiromi inquired.

No answer was provided to her. Iida was more focused on the debris that was coming straight for him. He covered his face with his arms to stop himself from getting hurt too badly. Uraraka used this distraction to her advantage and repeated her original plan to make herself weightless and go to the weapon. The girl floated above him and once she was near the weapon, she made the triangle formation with her hands again, "Release!" Uraraka landed on top of the weapon, hugging it with a grin on her face, "I got it!"

"No!" Iida gasped. "The weapon!"

A smile stretched across Hiromi's face, "Ha!" She laughed to herself and turned to Iida who looked absolutely devastated, "Take that!" Was it rubbing salt in the wound? Absolutely. Did Hiromi care? No.

All Might's voice rang out from the speakers, "You did it. The hero teams... Wins! Your indoor combat training is over."

As soon as those words were said, Uraraka groaned and slid down the weapon. Hiromi rushed over to her to check on her. Iida had also seen the display and turned to her with his hands stuck up in the air. He gasped with worry, "Are you okay?"

"You're looking a little worse for wear," Hiromi stated.

"The hero team wins!" All Might exclaimed once more. And, as All Might had said, their combat training was over. The two teams went to where everyone else had to watch the rest of the matches. Midoriya had to be taken to the nurse because of his injuries and also because he ended up passing out. One by one, everyone completed their training until they were all finally done. The class, minus Midoriya, stood in front of All Might as he blew his whistle to get everyone's attention, "That's a wrap! Super work. You really stepped up to the plate. And, we didn't have any major injuries, except for Midoriya. You should be proud. Excellent first day of training, all around!"

"It's nice to hear some encouraging words after our homeroom class," Asui, a girl with long green hair and a frog-like quirk said. Almost everyone in the class nodded in agreement. "Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill."

This was something that All Might was obviously pleased to hear. He threw his arms out, "I'm happy to bring such staggering positivity to my alma mater! That's all for now, folks," He placed one hand on his hip while the other remained in the air, "I should go and check on Young Midoriya's progress! Now, watch how a pro exits. Like he's got somewhere to be!"

The students gasped as they watched All Might run away to the nurse's office. He had been running so fast that a dust cloud was kicked up behind him and the wind blew in their faces. This wasn't something that annoyed any of them. No, they were all impressed and starstruck at watching All Might. It was like they forgot he was their teacher for a second and remembered that he was the number one hero.

"Okay, you guys, that is a hero!" The guy with the black streak in his hair, Kaminari, said.

"Aw, I'll never be able to run that fast." A boy with a tail, Ojiro, stated.

"Super awesome!" A really short boy, Mineta, commented.

The group went to their next classes and the day continued as normal. They didn't have any more training like the combat training that day. The teachers decided to stick to regular subjects like algebra and science. Midoriya ended up joining the class again, though he was still pretty injured. The nurse had a quirk that healed you with your own stamina and Midoriya didn't have enough to completely heal himself which meant he had to heal the rest of his injuries the normal way.

And once again, the school day came to a close. Hiromi headed to the ADA apartments and changed into her regular clothes before heading to the agency. As usual, she got herself a hot chocolate from the cafe downstairs which she knew that Kunikida was going to get onto her for since it almost always made her late. Standing in front of the door to the agency, Hiromi took a deep breath before walking inside.

Chaos was the best way to describe the situation inside. Dazai was doing his usual routine of annoying the hell out of Kunikida while Atsushi tried to stop him. One of the ladies who worked at the front desk was trying to convince Ranpo to go on a job and he refused since he ran out of sweets. Kenji didn't seem to be in the agency at the moment. Tanizaki and Naomi were... Anyway. The only person who seemed to be aware of her presence was Yosano.

The woman walked into the main room of the agency and noticed Hiromi standing in front of the door. "Oh, Hiromi," Her sudden announcement made everyone stop what they were doing and turn in the direction of where she was looking. "How was school today?"

"It was... Interesting." It didn't take long for the girl to go into a full-blown explanation of the combat training that had taken place that day. She had a feeling that UA was going to have more moments like the ones today to make her school life more interesting.
