Yuzu walked out of the room and sighed deeply. She looked at her hand and shook her head
Sorry Shai but there are time where you take things too far...
Yuzu walked back to the group and held Mei's hand
"Let's go" Yuzu said
"Huh? Wait did something happen?" Mei asked noticing Yuzu's expression
"It's just...I can't believe Shai would do such a thing" Yuzu said
"What are you talking about?" Mei asked. Yuzu just looked at Mei and the others before letting out a sigh
"Shai admitted she did something to Momokino-san..." Yuzu said
"Wait! What?" Matsuri asked as she got off of Harumin's lap
"Did she really try to kill Himeko?" Mei asked as she stood up from her seat
"Well she never said she tried to kill her. All she said was that she wanted to improve her..." Yuzu said
"Improve her? What does that mean?" Mei asked
"I'll explain more later. Let's just leave" Yuzu said
"Alright" Mei said
"We'll come with you. Mother is it okay for us to be with Yuzu-chan and Mei-san?" Matsuri asked
"Of course but just don't be out for too long" Soha said
"We know mother" Matsuri said and smiled a bit. Everyone ended up leaving while Celeste stayed behind worried about her daughter and Shai. She tried processing everything that happened and trembled a bit not believing what she heard from the blonde haired
No...that can't be. She would never do that...never...
Celeste looked up seeing the doctor and stood up as she walked up to him
"Doctor?" Celeste asked
"Hm? Yes ma'am? Can I do something for you?" The doctor asked
"I need to have a word with you sir. It's about Shai" Celeste said
"Very well. Let's go to my office" The doctor said and guided Celeste to his office. Celeste entered the office and walked to the seat in front of his desk. He sat down on his chair and looked at Celeste
"So ma'am...why do you want to talk about Shai?" The doctor said
"It's about what happened to Himeko. Is it true that Shai...did something to her?" Celeste asked with a worried expression. The doctor looked at her and leaned back in his chair sighing deeply
"Well...after examining Himeko and checking for any injuries I've noticed something familiar. Back then when Shailung was alive...he used to have this liquid thing. He used it as his secret weapon to kill. Many of the police officers never knew how Shailung was able to murder many people in one night. You remember all those murders in the news. Each night a list of innocent people would be shown up and no one knew who the hell did it..." The doctor said
"And how did you find out?" Celeste asked
"My wife and daughter were affected by it...and I swore I would put the person whoever did it in jail" The doctor said
"How thought?" Celeste asked
"Heh...that bastard trusted me and once he told me about his substance thing. I told the police but of course he escaped...hehehe but he wasn't able to go that far thanks to your husband. Such a shame he had to be blamed for that incident. It wasn't his fault...that Shai girl is suppose to be blamed for that. It's her fault..." The doctor said
"B-but she isn't suppose to be blamed for this. Besides...she's suffered too you know. Both Shailung and Shai have suffered...you shouldn't really blame them. It's not their fault they've just gone through terrible stuff in their life" Celeste said
"You're seriously defending them? Shai was this close killing your daughter. Do you not care about your daughter?" The doctor asked
"What? I do care for Himeko but Shai-"
"Is like a daughter to you? Isn't she?" The doctor asked
"Yes..." Celeste said as she looked down
"Let me guess...because she looks like Shailung and almost acts like him..it reminds you of him. Because you still love him..." The doctor said. Celeste just remained silent as she looked down
"You wanted to run away with him right? You wanted to abandon everything and be with him. Heh...it be pretty funny to see you two together. Your family would've been disappointed in you..." The doctor said
"We are not talking about that..." Celeste said
"Why not? You don't want to admit that you still love him? After you got pregnant with your daughter you had to abandon him and leave him. Letting him live his own life without you and all he did was kill innocent people just because of jealousy and hatred. That bastard should've just killed himself instead of killing others..." The doctor said
"Are you even a doctor? Do you really cure others and save their lives?" Celeste asked as she glared at him. The doctor just looked at her and looked away
"This conversation is over...please leave ma'am. You got your answer anyways...and if you don't believe me then just go ahead and ask her yourself. She will gladly tell you everything...hopefully" The doctor said
"Thanks..." Celeste said and stood up from her chair. She walked to the door and walked out of the office. She looked down and clenched her fists tightly. She walked over to Shai's room that was across Himeko's room. She stood in front of the door and trembled a bit. She looked at her hand and saw it was shaking. She grabbed her hand and took a deep breathe
N-no Celeste...don't be afraid. You must be brave. Shai won't hurt you. She won't do it. She won't hurt me or Himeko...she just won't...
"Shai? It's me Celeste. I'm coming in" Celeste said as she knocked them turned the door handle opening the door. Shai was laying down in bed with tear stains on her cheeks. She was just staring at the ceiling while zoning out and thinking about nothing but only the slap Yuzu gave her
"Hello ma'am. Is there something you want to talk about?" Shai asked avoiding eye contact. Celeste just walked to the chair and sat down
"Shai...did you do something to Himeko?" Celeste asked. Shai just kept staring at the ceiling and closed her eyes
"Yes...I did I inject her a substance that my father made but added a few different ingredients. So that's why she didn't die. Her heart stopping was part of the transformation..." Shai said and opened her eyes again once she was done explaining. Celeste remained silent as she looked down. After about a minute, Celeste stood up
"Why did you do it? Why did you hurt Himeko like that?" Celeste asked
"I didn't hurt her. I mean I know her heart stopped but...at least she woke up" Shai said
"Is that all you have to say?" Celeste asked
"What else can I say? All I did is try and improve Himeko...that's all I have to say" Shai said. Celeste just looked down and walked to the door leaving the room. Shai was alone again in the room and kept staring at the ceiling as she sung her lullaby that her father made for her

Night time fell and everyone was asleep except for Shai who kept staring at her other body peacefully asleep
Heh...everyone knows what I tried to do and it all ended horribly wrong. So fucking stupid...whatever
Shai walked put of the room passing through the door and headed to Himeko's room. She stood beside her and stared at her body for a couple of minutes
Nothing's happening...did the substance really not work? Damnit...no...that can't be true. I did tested it out and worked in one night. Does she need more of that substance?
Shai sighed knowing she ended up losing the deal. She looked at Himeko and walked up to her then kissed her forehead softly
"Forgive me. Sometimes I wonder if we really are meant to be...but I feel like I don't deserve you. All I do is kill people and that's a future that I don't want for you. It's my life and if you don't like it then I'm sorry for not being able to change. Goodbye Himeko..." Shai whispered before she left and teleported. In the shadows Himeko walked out with her glowing dark purple eyes
"So you're ditching me just because of that? If I see you with that bitch then you're dead..." Himeko hissed. Shai just teleported in front of the ocean and stared at the water with the full moon out. She stared removing her clothes until she was completely naked then jumped in the cold water. She swam under water and looked up at the surface seeing the moon. She closed her eyes and relaxed her whole body
This feeling....the cold water...so relaxing. It's been so long since I've been in the ocean...this gives me so much memories
Flashback
The little Shai was in the beach and saw the other kids playing around in the water. She just sat down and watched them swim. She trembled since she was afraid of the water
"What's a pathetic girl like you doing here?" A girl asked
"Haha! She's scared of the water" The other girl said. Shai just ignored them and kept sitting down while her mother was paying no attention to her. She was just drawing in the sand. Suddenly the girls threw sand on her face and laughed. Shai just kept ignoring them and stood up. She just looked at the girls and left heading somewhere else. The girls just followed her as they kept bothering her. One of them grabbed Shai and started dragging her to the water
"Hey! Let me go! Let me go!" Shai shouted but no one was listening and ignored the kids
"Oh come on! Don't be such a baby and get in!" The girl said
"Yeah!" The other girl said as she pushed her towards the water. Shai struggled to get out of their grip but it was hopeless. She was small and weak. The girls ended up pushing Shai in the water and Shai started crying since she felt like drowning
"Jeez just stand up" The girl said. Suddenly a huge wave was coming up and everyone got the children out except for Shai who ended up getting her foot stuck on something
"M-mama! Mama!" Shai cried as she was reaching her hands out
"Shai!" Kallen shouted. Shai then felt a great impact as the wave gave her a massive hit then took her away dragging her. Shai cried and started choking on the water. She ended up up in the ocean farther away from where she was and started sinking. She closed her eyes as she felt everything stop until a shadow appeared above her. Something helped her up taking her to the surface. Shai coughed and gasped for air as she was trying to recover from that. She heard a little squeak and turned around seeing a dolphin
"H-huh? A d-dolphin?" Shai asked and looked around seeing other dolphins appear. Shai petted the dolphins and smiled
"You're all so beautiful up close" Shai said. She looked around and saw that she wasn't far from land
"Hey little buddies. Do you think you can take me back home?" Shai said. Somehow the dolphins were able to understand and Shai ended up holding onto their dorsal fin. The dolphins started swimming and Shai held on tightly as they helped her go back to land. Everyone in the beach tried to calm down Kallen until someone spotted the dolphins and Shai. Kallen looked over at the dolphins and saw Shai. Shai released the dolphin's fin and looked at the group. The people gasped and all the kids just walked over to the dolphins but the dolphins ended up leaving
"Thank you for saving my life!" Shai shouted as she waved goodbye to the dolphins. The dolphins stood on their tail as she swam backwards then left. All the kids looked at Shai not believing what happened
"Shai!" Kallen cried as she hugged her
"Huh? Mama? Please don't cry I'm okay" Shai said as she smiled brightly. Kallen just looked at her daughter's smile and cried even more as she held her tightly
"Forgive me Shai...I'm the worse..." Kallen said. Shai just hugged her mother back trying to comfort her
"Don't cry mama..." Shai said
End Of Flashback
Mama...
Shai gasped and went back to the surface since she ran out of air. She coughed and swam back to land. She got out and stood up with water dripping from her body. She sighed and started putting her clothes on
Well...I better head to Diane...she won...
Shai teleported and arrived back in the alley where she met with Diane
"Diane? Hey Diane. You win okay? So where the fuck are you?" Shai asked. Suddenly she heard something and saw something rolling over her. She looked down and her eyes widen realizing it was a head. Diane's head
H-huh? What the-
Her eyes widen as someone tripped her and fell back. Someone stepped on her neck with glowing dark purple eyes. Shai coughed and trembled a bit but then smiled knowing who it was
"Nevermind I guess the substance did work right Himeko?" Shai said and giggled softly
