Himeko was in bed and thinking about what happened today. The thing with Shai and what Mei told her
I know it's my father's fault. He did this to her...he's the one that should be in prison. Now Shai has gone mad...poor Shai...but...she replaced me for that other bitch. Why though? Was she using me? No...no she wasn't...I could tell by her eyes that she...she really did love me. Her beautiful and cute smile. Oh...everything about her is just so...so...so adorable and sweet
Himeko just sighed and stared at the ceiling. She clenched her fists tightly and sat up
Damnit...I can't sleep...
Himeko just looked down and that's when she heard a soft bark. She looked down and saw Pucchi. She smiled and held Pucchi in her arms
"What do you think Pucchi?" Himeko asked. Pucchi just barked softly and licked her hand
"If only you could talk..." Himeko said and petted Pucchi's head. Pucchi's ears perked up and looked at the door
"Hm? Is there something wrong?" Himeko asked. Pucchi jumped off of her arms and walked to the door. Pucchi jumped up and scratched the door
"Huh? Is there someone out?" Himeko asked and stood up. She walked up to the door and trembled a bit then looked down at Pucchi. Pucchi barked and growled at the door
Is there someone here too? Probably father or mother right? Or maybe the servants?
Himeko opened the door and looked around. She got out and walked downstairs. She shivered a bit feeling slightly cold and looked around
Hmm...there's no one. Everyone is in there room. Why was Pucchi acting like that?
Suddenly Himeko turned around hearing some noise coming from the kitchen. She walked to the kitchen shaking a bit and turned on the lights. She saw no one but her eyes widen seeing a knife on the floor
Wh-what? Why i-is there a knife?
"Why not kill him?"
Himeko walked up to the knife and grabbed it. She looked at it and her eyes widen seeing Shai's reflection. She turned around and saw no one
What's going on? Am I hallucinating? D-did I just saw...Shai? No...Shai is still in prison...right? She wouldn't have escaped. Even if she did...she wouldn't come here. She has her anyways...
Suddenly Himeko gasped as someone wrapped their arm around her then covered her mouth
"Himeko shhhh...it's okay" Shai spoke softly and gently not wanting to scare Himeko. Himeko trembled and looked at Shai. Shai's eyes reminded Himeko the time where she met Shailung. Shai removed her hand from her mouth and released her. Himeko stood there and glared at her
"What the hell are you doing here?" Himeko asked
"I-I only wanted to-"
"Shut up and leave. My father will get pissed if he sees you here" Himeko said
"Y-yeah I know but I just-"
"Leave" Himeko said sternly
"Can't you just let me finish my sentence?" Shai asked
"I know what you're going to say anyways and I don't want to hear it so just fuck off and go with your girlfriend" Himeko said looking away and turned off the lights
"G-girlfriend? Eh? What do you mean?" Shai asked
"Don't play dumb...I know you want her more than me. So just leave me alone and go with her" Himeko said
"H-himeko...please...I-I'm sorry I just...I was cr-crazy back there" Shai said as tears built up in her eyes. Himeko just glared at her and walked away
"Stay safe and try not to get yourself in trouble" Himeko said and went upstairs
"N-no...Himeko...wait please" Shai said and followed her upstairs. Himeko turned around and glared at her
"Hey...I said leave" Himeko said
"S-sorry...please.. " Shai said
"How did you escape?" Himeko asked
"O-oh...Yuzuko helped me out. Sh-she's back" Shai said. Himeko's eyes widen for a moment and sighed
So...the delinquent is back. Hmm...I know I hate her and everything but Mei has been upset ever since she left. As her bestest friend I'll help her get back with her...but how can I talk to the delinquent?
Himeko looked at Shai and sighed
Great...I need her help to be able to talk to the delinquent
"Hey...is it possible for you to help me talk to her?" Himeko asked
"E-eh? Wait...why do you want to talk to her?" Shai asked
"Because...it's for Meimei...she needs my help" Himeko said. Shai's eyes widen and felt her heartache
Meimei? Isn't that...the Aihara person she used to like? Does she still like her? N-no way right? Th-there is no way...right? Hehehehehehehe...
"Sure...I'll help" Shai said
"Thanks..." Himeko said
"If you come back to me..." Shai said
"Huh? Wait...what?" Himeko asked
"If you want my help you have to come back to me" Shai said
"Hmph. I don't need your help..." Himeko said and walked away
"H-himeko..." Shai said
"Stay away from me...please and thanks" Himeko said and headed to her room. Shai stood there and sighed deeply
Great...I really screwed up...didn't I?

Mei teared up and cried. She trembled as she saw Yuzu's body on the ground
"Y-yuzu...I'm s-sorry...Yuzu...Yu...zu...no. Pl-please...come back...s-sorry...sorry. I-it's my f-fault..." Mei mumbled and held Yuzu's body closely. Mei cried and buried her face in her chest
"Y-yuzu...sorry...forgive m-me...please..." Mei whispered and cried
Mei gasped for air and clenched her chest tightly as she started feeling the pain again. She gripped the bedsheets and struggled to breathe. She coughed spatting out blood and trembled. Midnight came in and ran up to Mei jumping in her bed. Mei looked at Midnight and her attack stopped. Mei started breating normally again and petted Midnight
"I'm okay Midnight...I'm okay" Mei said. Midnight looked at her and licked her nose. Mei smiled and looked at the window seeing the morning sun. Mei sighed deeply and got out of bed. She trembled and wiped her mouth
"Meow" Midnight said and walked out the room. Mei looked at her bed and groaned
Damnit I just washed the covers...guess I have to wash them again...
Mei grabbed the covers that were stained with blood and went to the laundry room to wash her bed covers and sheets again. She walked back to her room and sat down. She looked down and clenched her fists tightly
Damnit...these nightmares look so realistic that it feels so real. It's still my fault...Yuzu is gone because of me...
Mei ran her fingers through her hair and sighed deeply
Why did I fuck up back then? Ugh...god damnit...6 years have passed...why isn't she here yet?
Mei lifted her head up as her phone rang and walked to her phone
"Hello?" Mei answered
"Mei...there is something important I have to tell you. Can I come by your house?" Himeko asked
"Uh sure. I have nothing to do anyways..." Mei said
"Great. I'll be there in a couple minutes" Himeko said and hanged up. Mei put the phone down and walked to her room to get herself cleaned up after that short attack. After a few minutes the doorbell rung and Mei went up to the door to answer it
"Morning Mei" Himeko said smiling softly
"Morning Himeko" Mei said and allowed Himeko inside. Midnight walked up to Himeko and purred. Himeko smiled and kneeled down petting her head softly
"So what is it that you want to tell me?" Mei asked
"Well...remember Shai right?" Himeko asked
"Yes" Mei said
"Well she escaped" Himeko said
"Is that it?" Mei asked
"Let me finish. The Okogi is back" Himeko said. Mei's eyes widen and looked at Himeko
"Y-yuzu...Yuzu is back?" Mei asked
"Yes. Shai told me because she came by my house...." Himeko said
"Where is she right now?" Mei asked
"W-well I'm not so sure" Himeko said
"Didn't your girlfriend tell you?" Mei asked
"She's not my girlfriend..." Himeko said
"Huh? What happened?" Mei asked
"Rather not talk about it..." Himeko said looking away
"Alright but...if you see her again please ask her where she is. I want to see her again...I need to see her again..." Mei said and clenched her chest tightly
"Don't worry Mei. I will do my very best to get more information about her" Himeko said
"Thanks..." Mei said and smiled at her softly. Himeko blushed a bit and smiled as well
"No problem Mei" Himeko said. Midnight walked up to Mei and tapped her leg
"Hm? What do you need Midnight?" Mei asked as she kneeled down and carried her. Midnight purred as she laid her head against Mei's neck
"Awww she really likes you Mei. How is she doing?" Himeko asked
"She's doing okay but she's still a bit harsh on other people" Mei said as she stroked her back softly
"Hehe she does act like you" Himeko said and shivered a bit
"Don't you think it's cold in here?" Himeko asked
"No" Mei said
"Hehe well I guess you're used to it. Uhm...do you want to go somewhere?" Himeko asked
"Sure. It's been a while the last time we hung out since I've been working lately" Mei said
"Yeah you do need a break from work. You can bring Midnight along" Himeko said. Midnight jumped off of Mei and hissed before she walked away
"Guess not" Himeko said
"Midnight isn't the type to go outside and spend some time with other people around" Mei said
"She really enjoys to be alone right?" Himeko asked
"Yes but I always come back for her. I still remember the first time I brought her outside and went to the park. She's really dangerous and can get mad easily" Mei said. Midnight jumped on the couch and curled up into a ball to take a small cat nap
"Do you want to go for a walk at the mall? I know you're not that kind of type to shop for clothes but we can at least get something for Midnight" Himeko said
"Hm? You're right. She does enjoy her treats and toys" Mei said
"Okay" Himeko said. Mei went to her room to get her purse and stopped seeing the box that held the emerald ring. She looked down for a moment and grabbed the box

Mei walked out of her room and had her purse ready. She went to the kitchen and placed the food for her pet. She walked up to Midnight and kissed her head softly
"I'll be back Midnight. Take care of the house for me" Mei whispered. Midnight's eyes glowed and nodded. Mei smiled and walked to the front door with Himeko. They both left leaving Midnight home alone. Mei and Himeko walked down the streets heading to the store. During their walk, someone walked passed them bumping into them
I should really keep an eye out. Yuzu could be anywhere. She's probably avoiding me...
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Himeko said and glared at the person. The person had their head down while wearing a jacket
"Sorry eyebrows..." The person said and laughed
"Why you little bitch" Himeko growled. Mei's eyes widen recognizing that voice
Wait...that voice sounds so familiar? Could it be? B-but she died back there...no...her body wasn't found but it's magic we're talking about. Is it really her?
"Hey...is it you k-kid?" Mei asked
"Hm? Kid? Hehehe...I'm not a little kid anymore but I'm surprised that you recognized me so quickly Mei-san" The person said and removed her hoodie revealing herself. Both Himeko's and Mei's eyes widen
"I-it's you?" Himeko asked
"Y-you're alive?" Mei asked. Matsuri just smiled and looked at them both
"Hehe...yep it's me. Matsuri Mizusawa" Matsuri said
