Louis' arm was wrapped around a small teddy bear that was wearing a blue shirt with the words Baby Boy written on the front , his other arm linked with Harry's arm as they walked into the hospital .

"I can't believe Nialler is a dad ." Louis gushed over his best friend , "Oh my god , Milly is a mummy too ."

Harry smiled as he lead them into the elevator , he pressed the button to the floor Niall gave him and pulled Louis a bit closer to wrap his arm around him , "I'm guessing you're excited to see them , then ?"

"Oh I wonder what gave it away , mister ." Louis rolled his eyes playfully and smiled , he leaned into Harry's chest , "I'm so excited ."

The elevator stopped and the doors opened , the couple walked through the corridors until they reached Amelia's room . Louis knocked on the door , hearing Niall say come in .

He opened the door and a grin spread on his lips at the sight of Niall , he looked tired but had a wide grin on his face .

"Oi oi !" Louis wrapped his best friend in a tight cuddle , Niall squeezed him and picked him up off his feet , "Oi oiii !"

"You look tired , have you managed to rest ?" Louis pulled back from the cuddle .

"I've managed to squeeze about two hours , but I'm just so happy , lad ." Niall assured him , turning to greet Harry while Louis went over to Amelia .

"How do you look so good after giving birth ?" Louis joked , Amelia laughed , "I certainly don't feel like my best , but thank you nontheless ."

"You're gorgeous ." Louis pressed a kiss to her cheek and moved back to put the teddy bear next to her , and let Harry greet her aswell .

"Alright , I'm going to get the little lad , be right back ." Niall pointed his thumb back and left the room .

Louis sat with Amelia on her bed , "How was the birthing ?" He held her hand .

"I was so scared , Lou , you don't understand ." Amelia shook her head , "After I took the Epidural it was a lot more bearable but it still felt so scary . It took me about nine hours to dilate enough to start pushing , bless Nialler for being there . Well up until I started pushing , poor Ni thought he was so strong until he saw the head coming out ."

Louis covered his mouth as he laughed , "I was about to ask about him , if he was with you . Poor kid ." He giggled .

"I was pushing the baby out and had to comfort him while doing so , can you believe him ." Amelia laughed with him . "But then the baby was out and he cried and everything felt perfect , my healthy boy is just perfect ."

The door opened and Niall walked into the room , rolling the cart with the baby inside . Louis felt the air leaving his lungs as he stood up from the bed , his hand immediately reaching out for Harry to ground himself . Harry smiled at his reaction and held his hand tightly , giving it a squeeze .

Louis walked closer to the cart , pulling Harry along . He looked down at the baby and held his hand to his chest , "Oh he's absolutely adorable ." He whispered .

Harry joined him , his hand pressing to the small of his back , "He's beautiful ."

Niall reached his hand out to move Louis' fringe back from his eyes , "Want to hold him ?"

Louis' head snapped up to gape at Niall , then turned to Amelia for approval . Amelia laughed a bit , "Of course you can , Lou ."

Louis quickly sat down on the recliner next to Amelia's bed , Niall picked the baby up carefully and walked over to Louis , placing him in his arms .

"He's so tiny ." Louis pouted , holding the baby with one arm and tracing his tiny hand with his free hand .

Harry took pictures of him , feeling warmth blooming in his heart .

"Hi , baby . I'm uncle Louis ." Louis smiled at the sleeping baby , "If you don't call me uncle Louis I'm ignoring you ." He said , making the three around him laugh a bit .

Harry walked over to him and leaned down to look at the baby over his shoulder , "He is very tiny . So cute ." He reached his hand down , letting the baby hold onto his finger .

"Want to know his name ?"

Louis looked up at Amelia with heart eyes , "You picked his name ? Can we know ? Are we the first ones to know ?"

Niall and Amelia shared a smile , then Niall turned to Louis .

"Matthew Louis Horan ."

Harry's head snapped up to look at Niall , Louis felt the beating of his heart stopping , his lungs felt like they ceased . His mouth fell open , and within two seconds he had tears in his eyes , "Wh-What ?"

"We'll be more than happy if he's half a good person as you are ." Niall smiled , not helping the tears shining in his eyes at the sight of Louis in tears .

Louis sniffled and covered his mouth , crying quietly . Harry wrapped his arms around him , pressing comforting kisses to his cheek and rubbing his arm .

"We would also like for you two to be his godparents ."

Louis let out a teary laugh , nodding as he sniffled again , not able to talk yet .

"We're honoured to be his godparents ." Harry said , reaching for the tissue that Amelia handed over after taking a few out to wipe her tears .

Harry took the tissue and helped Louis dry his tears , the couple smiled at each other and shared a quick kiss . Harry then stood up and went to give Amelia a hug , then went to hug Niall aswell .

"I'll take care of him . Keep him safe ." Harry assured Niall quietly .

"I know you will . Thanks , mate ." Niall nodded and patted him on the shoulder before pulling back from the hug .

Louis refused to let go of the baby yet when Amelia offered to take him , he put both his arms around Matthew and said let me hold my godson , Milly .

Harry took more pictures of Louis , Niall joined at Louis' side , sitting on the armrest of the recliner .

Louis caressed the baby's cheek with the pad of his finger , "Look who's here to sit with us , it's daddy ."

Niall reached to hold Matthew's hand , "It's so crazy to me , still ." He smiled at Amelia , then looked at Harry . Niall had to force back a laugh at Harry's face , before something clicked . He looked back down to Louis and Matthew , "Yeah , it's me , and your mummy , and uncle Louis and uncle Harry , too ."

Louis booped the baby's nose as gently as he could , "You have the best daddy in the world , did you know that , little Matty ?"

Niall looked up at Harry again , choking back a laugh and coughing a bit .

"You alright ?" Louis asked him , Niall nodded , "Yeah , I'm good . Where were we ."

"Say mummy ." Louis cradled Matthew closer , leaning down as if to listen to his whisper , then pulled back . "He said daddy ."

"Really ? Can he say that again ?" Niall asked , looking over at Harry .

Louis , oblivious to Niall's teasing , leaned down again and pulled back , "He definitely said daddy ."

Amelia was silently laughing at the interaction , Harry was shifting in his spot as he tried keeping his face neutral .

"Alright , I think I'm going to have to let little Matty sleep properly ." Louis said as Matthew woke up and started fussing a bit .

Niall took him from Louis' arms and placed him in the cart , "Maybe it's time to feed him ?"

"Maybe ." Amelia nodded .

"Alright , we'll let you two rest now ." Louis stood up from his seat and went over to Amelia , squeezing her in a hug , "Congatulations , I love you , you're going to be the best mummy ."

"Thanks , Lou . I love you too ." She smiled and kissed his cheek .

Louis then went over to Niall and wrapped him up in a cuddle , the two held each other for a bit , "You'll be the best daddy ."

Niall let a laugh escape his lips , he rubbed Louis' back , "And you're already are the best uncle ."

"I love you Nialler ."

"I love you too Lou ."

They pulled back from the cuddle , Louis went to say a quick goodbye to Matthew and then took Harry's hand , the couple waved goodbye as they left the room .

"I feel like I'm going to cry again ." Louis took a deep breath , Harry pulled at his hand to bring him closer , "Come here ."

Harry wrapped Louis up in his embrace , Louis pressed his face to Harry's chest and wrapped his arms around his middle .

"Th-They named him after me ." Louis sniffled .

"Rightfully so ." Harry pressed his smile to the top of his head .

"I love this baby so much already ." Louis smiled into Harry's chest , then looked up to smile at Harry . Harry smiled at him and leaned down to press a kiss to his lips , lingering his lips on Louis' for a few seconds before pulling back .
