Harry was sitting next to Louis on the plane on their flight back home , watching as Louis was looking down at his engagement ring , thumbing over it and twisting it around his finger .

"My heart feels mushy every time I look at it ." Louis bit his lower lip , his cheeks turned soft-pink when he looked up and saw that Harry was staring at him . "I can't wait to tell everyone ."

The couple kept the engagement to themselves for the rest of their vacation , and when the guards arrived at the Villa to help them carry everything to the boat - they saw the ring on Louis' finger .

Well , it was more like , Louis ran up to Harley , one of the guards he's closest with , with a wide grin on his face , "Harley look , he wants me forever !"

Harley's eyebrows raised , he took Louis' hand gently to look at the ring , a smile broke onto his face , "Congratulations , about time it happened ." He smiled wider when Louis hugged him , he put his arms around him aswell .

The rest of the guards congratulated the couple , Harley gave Harry a pat on the shoulder and smiled , Harry gave him a small smile back and small nod of his head before he picked up one of the suitcases to carry .

They arrived at the plane , Louis hurried into the plane and to the cockpit , where Paul was sitting preparing the plane to take off .

"Hey Louis , how are you ?" Paul smiled , his eyes are still on the buttons in front of him .

"Perfect . Just perfect . Want to know why ?"

"Tell me ."

"You're going to have to look at me ."

Paul turned his head to Louis , feeling his heart skipping a beat at the sight of Louis holding his hand up showing off the engagement ring with a wide grin on his lips . Paul turned in his seat and took Louis' hand to see the ring , a smile spread on his lips , "About damn time . Congratulations ." He gave Louis a hug .

Louis grinned and squeezed him , they pulled back when Harry walked into the cockpit . Paul stood up from his seat and gave Harry a punch to the shoulder , "Proud of you ."

Harry smiled a bit , his arm instinctively wrapping around Louis when Louis put his arms around his middle .

And here they were , about to land back home .

Louis was attached to Harry for most of the flight , only when Harry had to get a bit of work done then Louis went to spend some time with Harley and another guard , Greg , the three played Scrabble and then watched a movie , before Louis headed to the room in the back of the plane to rest . And obviously , he only really fell asleep when Harry joined him .

They landed and unloaded from the plane , it was a bit past midday as they got into their Range Rover .

"Hazzie ." Louis turned his head after buckling his seatbelt , "Can we make a stop to see Nialler ?"

"Sure . Is he working or is he home ?"

"I think he's home , I'll text him ." Louis pulled his phone out , "I really cannot wait any longer to tell him ."

Harry smirked a bit , "Yeah baby , I know , half of our vacation was 'I can't wait to tell Nialler' ." He tried to mimick Louis' voice and accent .

Louis gaped at him , "I do not sound like that !" He reached out and punched his bicep lightly , then patted the spot he punched , "Sorry , that was mean , did I hurt you ?"

Harry only smiled , holding back a light laugh .

Louis pulled Harry along down the hallway to Niall's apartment , he knocked on his door with his heart racing in his chest and an uncontrollable smile on his lips .

Harry took a step back and laced his arms behind his back , waiting to watch the interaction unfold .

The door opened and Niall walked out , "Ahh you're back !" He and Louis jumped together into a hug , Louis grinned and squeezed him .

Niall gave Harry a smile and a small wave still wrapped up in Louis' cuddle , Harry smiled back and gave him a nod .

Louis pulled back from their hug , "Can I show you something ?"

"Sure , what is it ?" Niall asked , watching as Louis lifted his hand up with the engagement ring shining on his finger . He felt his heart dropping in his chest as he let out a gasp , "I knew it ! I fucking knew it !" He yelled as he wrapped his arms around Louis in a hug again and lifted him off the ground .

Louis laughed giddily as he was squeezed into a hug again , Niall put him down and pulled back to grab his hand , "I swear to fucking God , I told Amelia that I had a feeling you'd get engaged , I'm a fucking psychic ." He looked down to Louis' ring , "It's so beautiful , Lou , I'm literally so happy for you ."

Louis hugged him once again , "Thank you , I love you Nialler ."

"I love you too Lou ." Niall hugged him , they pulled back and Niall went to give Harry a hug aswell , "Congrats , lad , I'm so happy for you ."

Harry hugged him back , they patted each other on the shoulder and pulled back .

"Can we facetime Amelia before you go ? She's going to be so happy to hear that ." Niall asked , Louis nodded and watched as Niall pulled his phone out .

Harry needed to make a stop at the office building , Louis joined him as he figured it would be the best time to show Liam .

Harry parked his car and jumped out with Louis following , Victor approached the two with a smile , "Good to see you back ."

"Let's go catch up , update me on everything ." Harry nodded , he turned to Louis and stopped when he saw a pout on his lips .

"Why the pout ." Harry pinched his chin gently , Louis pouted deeper , "You're just not going to tell Vic ?" He looked up at him through his lashes .

Harry bit his lower lip , he turned to Victor , who had a confused look on his face , "Tell me what ?"

Harry took Louis' hand and held it up for Victor to see the engagement ring , Louis grinned and squeezed Harry's hand .

A smile broke onto Victor's face , he gave Harry a few pats to the shoulder while his other hand rested gently on Louis' shoulder , "Finally , eh ? Congrats ."

Harry looked down at Louis , who grinned up at him and leaned on his chest . Harry kissed the top of his head , "I'll go with Victor for the update meeting , I'll call you when I'm done ."

"I want you to come with me to tell Li ." Louis looked up at him with his chin pressed to his chest . Harry leaned down to kiss him , "I'll call you . You're going up to the secret room ?"

"Yeah , I want to shower I'm icky from the flight ."

"Icky ." Harry teased him lightly and kissed him again , "Go baby , I'll call ."

The meeting took over three hours . When it ended Harry went up to his office to the secret room ; he knew Louis too well to know that he probably fell asleep waiting for him , and he didn't want to wake him up with a phone call .

And he guessed correctly ; he walked into the secret room behind the shelves and smiled at the sight of Louis curled up in bed fast asleep . He walked over to him and pressed a quick and soft kiss to his cheek before going to the bathroom to shower aswell .

Louis stirred awake to the sound of the shower running , he shuffled a bit in his spot and settled again , his eyes were still closed . He heard the shower stopping , then the shuffles around the bathroom before Harry walked out of the bathroom .

Harry got dressed in fitted pants and a shirt , he put his socks and shoes on and wrapped the ammo belt around his hips , before going to sit on the edge of the bed next to Louis .

"Baby ." He pressed his palm to Louis' back , "Let's go home , you can sleep all you want once we're there ." He rubbed his back .

Louis huffed a bit as he opened his eyes to look at Harry , "We still need to tell Li . And Zayn too ."

"You'll have to get up , then ." He teased and stood up from the bed , going to grab his gun from the dresser .

Louis walked into the dogs' pavilion just as Liam finished feeding the dogs , he washed his hands and turned around , grinning when he saw Louis and Harry . Louis ran over to him and jumped into his hug , Liam wrapped his arms around him and lifted him off the ground , "Louuu !"

"Liii !" Louis grinned and squeezed him , laughing when Liam started to swing him side to side .

Liam put Louis down and smiled at Harry over Louis' shoulder , "Hey mate , good to see you ."

Harry smiled back , "I think Louis wants to tell you something ."

"What ?" Liam looked at Louis , Louis wiggled his fingers at Liam , "Give me your hand ."

Liam gave Louis his hand , Louis turned Liam's palm up and put his ringed hand in Liam's hand , the grin never leaving his lips , "Hazzie asked me to marry him ."

Liam's jaw dropped , he held Louis' hand and examined the ring , "Holy shit ." He looked at Louis and mirrored his grin , bringing him into another cuddle . "Am I the first to know ?"

"Well , actually the first one was Harley ." Louis giggled , "But ! I haven't told Zayn yet ."

"Even Niall knows before me ?" Liam acted offended , Louis pulled back , "Niall is my bestie , Li ."

"Rude ." He tickled Louis , smiling at his laugh . He then turned to Harry and walked over to him , he wrapped his arms around him in a tight hug .

Harry smiled at he hugged Liam back , Liam patted his shoulder , "Congrats , mate . I'm happy for you . Your parents and Gemma would be so fucking proud ." He said to him quietly .

Harry squeezed Liam a bit , "Thanks , mate ."

Liam squeezed back and patted his shoulder again before they pulled back from the hug , Louis joined them and linked his arms with Harry's and Liam's , "Can we tell Zayn now ? He's the only one left for today , I'll tell Laura tomorrow morning when she's here ."

The three drove to the hospital , where Zayn was on his shift .

Louis had his hand laced with Harry's as they walked into the building , Louis greeted the reception workers as they walked past them to the stairs to go to the second floor .

They reached the second floor and walked into the lobby , where Zayn was stood talking to one of the nurses . He saw the three and smiled , he excused himself from the nurse and approached the three .

"Hello--Oo ." Zayn chuckled when Louis knocked into him in a hug , he wrapped his arms around him , "Looks like someone missed me ."

"Of course I did ." Louis smiled and pulled back to look up at him , "Can I show you something ?"

"Sure ."

Louis brought his hand up to show his engagement ring , "I said yes ." He grinned .

Zayn's eyes widened along with his smile , he took Louis' hand and looked at the ring , then looked at Harry , "Fucking finally , mate , it's about time you asked ." He wrapped one arm around Louis , his other hand reaching out to squeeze Harry's shoulder and down to his bicep .

"So happy for you two ." Zayn pressed a kiss to Louis' head and gave him a squeeze , laughing a bit when Louis let out a yawn and leaned on his chest .

"Go home now and sleep , don't fall asleep on me I have ten more hours to be here ." Zayn handed Louis over to Harry , who wrapped his arms around Louis and held him to his chest .

It was the morning after , Louis slept in for a bit before he got up and left to the office building . He went up to Harry's floor , smiling when he saw Laura behind her desk .

"Good morning sweet , lovely to see you back ." Laura smiled , "How are you doing ?"

"Oh , I'm doing just amazing . Want to know why ?" Louis smiled back as he walked over to her behind the desk .

"Tell me ."

He held his hand out to show her his ring , Laura gasped as a smile spread on her lips , "Oh no way ! Conrtatulations , this is so amazing ." She stood up from her seat and hugged him .

Louis hugged her back , "You have no idea how much I was shaking , it was so perfect ."

"I bet it was , Pearl Islands sounds like such a perfect location ." She said as they pulled back , "I'm so happy for you sweet ."

"Thank you ." Louis smiled , "The only one I have left is Odin , he doesn't know yet ." He giggled .

"Go on then , don't leave the pup hanging for any longer ." She laughed aswell .

Louis grinned as Odin greeted him with kisses and happy tail wags , he giggled and hugged his wiggling body , "Hi pup , I missed you so much ." He kissed his head .

"Look , pup , look ." Louis held his hand up for Odin , "See ? Look at my ring ." He pointed to his ring , watching as Odin sniffed his hand . He smiled , "It means Hazzie and I are together forever ." He giggled when Odin licked his hand before going back to giving him kisses .

"I can already you and the rest of the pups with us ." Louis petted Odin as he slowly settled , "How about you be our ring bearer ? Sounds lovely , doesn't it ? I'll get you a nice little tux , you'll look so cute with it on ." He kissed his head .

Liam smiled at the two as he made Louis a cup of tea , "The dogs will be at the wedding ?"

"Oh , one hundred percent . Odin is going to stand right next to me the entire time , I need him with me ." Louis smiled and gave Odin a squeeze . "I want the pups there with us , all of them ."

"Mint's pups , too ?"

"Yeah , they're already big and by the time the wedding happens they'll be properly trained ." Louis smiled and let out a sigh , "I can't wait to marry him ."
