"Hazzie ." Louis pressed the phone to his ear with a smile .

"Hey baby . Where are you ?"

"Just arrived at the park with Donna , Chess and Odin ." Louis sat down on one of the cement benches , "Going to let them run around for a bit . I'll be back in time for lunch ."

"Okay . What do you want me to order for you ? Rod made a few changes in the menu , I'll text it to you . Text me back your order ."

"Alright . See you at lunch ."

"See you . Love you baby ."

"Love you ." Louis smiled as they hung up , seconds later Harry texted him the menu . He looked up to make sure the three dogs were alright , before focusing his attention on his phone . He looked through the menu , checked the ingredients , when he heard someone talking .

"Which one is yours ?"

He looked up in surprise , seeing a man standing a few feet away with a small dog on a leash .

"Oh , ehm , all three , actually ." Louis smiled a bit , the man smiled back , "Oh wow . Must be tough raising three big dogs ."

"Tough but fun ." Louis nodded .

"I used to have a big dog when I was a kid , his name was Rex . He was lovely ."

"That's nice ." Louis shifted his legs a bit ; he wasn't sure why the man was talking to him , but didn't want to be rude about it .

The man must've noticed his slight discomfort , he gave Louis one last smile , "I'd better get going . It was nice talking to you ." He said and left before Louis could say anything else .

It was a few days later , Louis walked with Odin into a diner to shield them from the rain . He ordered a small cup of hot chocolate and a muffin , sitting at a booth with Odin . He took his phone out to call Harry .

"Hey baby , everything okay ?"

"Yeah , it's just -- it's pouring rain outside , and I was walking with Odin ." He bit his lower lip , "I was wondering if there's anyone who could pick us up ? I'll text you my location ."

"Of course , some guards are out on a ride around the city , I'll send the closest ones ."

"Thanks Hazzie ."

"Text me when you get in the car with them ."

They ended the call , Louis pinned his location as he waited for Harry to tell him the names of the guards picking him up .

"What are you drinking ?"

Louis looked up , surprised to see the same man from a few days earlier . "Just -- just hot chocolate ."

"Nice ." The man nodded , sitting on a bar stool sideways to face him . "This is one of the dogs from the other day , right ?"

Louis nodded silently . Odin shifted closer to him when he sensed his uneasiness .

"What's his name ?"

"Odin ."

"Oh , like the god . Nice ." The man nodded .

Louis nodded aswell and sipped on his drink , looking outside the window .

"Waiting for anyone ?"

Louis bit his lower lip , sighing in relief when he saw a Range Rover pulling up outside . He grabbed his paper cup and muffin , "Yes , sorry , my - my ride is here ." He stood up from the booth with Odin following .

One of the guards walked into the diner with an umbrella , "Mr. Tomlinson ."

Louis followed him outside with Odin , thanking him quietly when he opened the backseat door for him .

Louis walked into a small shop and went straight to the snacks aisle ; he and Harry were having a movie night and he wanted to be the one to take care of their snacks .

He placed the three bags he picked inside the small basket and walked further down the aisle to where the chocolate bars were .

He saw from the corner of his eye someone turning into the aisle he was in , he turned his head , heart skipping a beat when he saw it was the same man from last week . He was looking at the shelves , not glancing at Louis .

Louis picked out two packets of Kinder chocolate and another Milka bar for Harry , he quickly threw a box of popcorn packets into his basket and left the aisle , as he saw the man making his way down the aisle in his direction .

He walked straight to the register desk , grabbing a few cans of coke and beer on his way , before placing the basket on the desk .

He nervously watched as the girl scanned his items , thankfully she was pretty quick . She collected his items into two bags and told him the cost , when Louis felt precence next to him .

He didn't have to turn his head to realize who it was , he just handed his cash to the girl and grabbed his bags , mumbling "you can keep the change" as he ran out of the shop .

It's been five weeks . Louis kept seeing the man everywhere he went . He was always at the park when he was there with the dogs , and even showed up to the other park he went to in order to avoid him .

He was in the corner of his eye when he was at the grocery store . He was crossing the street when Louis was crossing . However , the man never dared to show himself when he was out with Harry .

Louis wanted to think it was all a coincidence , that it was just how things happened . Which is why he didn't say a word about it to Harry .

Louis gripped Apollo's leash tightly in his hand ; the man was there again , walking several feet behind him . He'd been following him for a while , even when Louis went through different streets and crossed some roads .

He was panicking internally , he was too far away from the office building to just break into a run . His other option was to confront the man .

He took a few deep breaths before turning around , his heart hammered in his chest . "Wh-What is your problem ?" He locked eyes with the man .

"What ? My problem ?" The man asked ; Louis almost believed him .

"You've been following me for weeks , you're everywhere I go . That can't be a coincidence ." Louis shook his head , "I thought it was , but just now you've been following me for over thirty minutes . What is it ?"

The man shook his head , "I didn't mean to scare you , sweetheart --"

"No . No no no don't call me those nicknames ." Louis shook his head , "Didn't mean to scare me ? You're - you're stalking me ."

Apollo sensed something wasn't right and started growling , Louis moved to stand in front of the dog so he wouldn't attack anyone .

"No , sweet , see , I --"

"Stop with those names , for god's sake ."

"I just wanted to be your friend , to get to know you ." 

"Get to know me ? Be my friend ?" Louis asked in disbelief , "I'm twenty four years old , you're fifty . Find friends your own age maybe ?"

"None of them are as pretty as you , sweet , I --"

"Jesus christ ." Louis shuddered and started walking away with Apollo , he fished his phone out to call Harry .

"Wait , wait --" The man grabbed his arm , Louis pulled his arm out of his grip and stumbled away from him , "Don't touch me ."

"Please sweetheart , just give us a chance to be friends ." The man chased after him when he started running .

Louis felt tears filling his eyes , he sighed in relief when he saw one of the guards' Range Rovers from afar . He let Apollo's leash go , "Apollo , bark ."

Apollo ran towards the road barking loudly , getting the guards' attention . The Range Rover sped down the street , Louis approached them when his arm was grabbed again .

"Sweetheart wait , give us a chance , let's --"

"Get off me ." Tears fell down Louis' cheeks when he couldn't release his arm , "Stop , get off ."

The Range Rover screeched to a stop and two guards jumped out of the car , they grabbed the man off Louis and pushed him against the brick wall with his arms behind his back .

Two more Range Rovers parked next to them , Victor and Harry stepped out of one of them . Harry scanned over the scene quickly and walked over to Louis , he put his arms around him and kissed his forehead , letting Louis cling onto his chest .

"Are you hurt ?" Harry asked , Louis sniffled , "M-My arm hurts ." He said quietly .

"Did he grab you ?" Harry asked , Louis nodded against his chest . Harry squeezed around his back , "I'll be right with you baby ."

He let go of Louis and walked over to the man , who had his wrists cuffed behind his back . The guards moved out of his way , he turned the man around , one hand fisting the collar of his jacket , his other hand holding a gun down at the side of his body .

"Name ."

"Lance ."

"You know me , don't you ?"

"Yes Sir ."

"The guy you grabbed - that's my boyfriend ."

"I know Sir ."

"You know and you still grabbed him ."

"Just wanted to talk to him , that's all ."

"You don't grab someone you want to 'just talk to' ."

The man kept quiet , Harry moved him off the wall and turned to his guards , "Section A ." He watched as the man was put into one of the cars , once the door closed he walked over to Louis , putting his gun in his belt .

"I have a lot of questions ." Harry took Louis' hand and walked with him to his Range Rover , opening the passenger's door for him .

Once at the office building Harry took Louis to his office . Louis sat down on the couch in the small lounge area , Harry grabbed a water bottle for him and walked over to sit on the small table so he could face him .

"Talk to me ."

Louis sighed , holding the bottle Harry handed him with both his hands as he looked down at his knees . "He's -- I -- I ..."

"Baby ." Harry put both his hands on Louis' thighs , "Did he touch you , other than today ?"

Louis shook his head , eyes stinging with tears again . "H-He's been following me around . For a wh-while . I just kept seeing him ev-everywhere I went . I really thought it was coincidence ."

"How long is 'a while' ?"

"Five weeks , maybe longer ." Louis sniffled , "I thought --"

"He'd been stalking you for over five weeks and you didn't think of telling me ? Not even for one moment ?" Harry stared at him , making Louis look away from the intense stare .

"I - I did want to tell you , but --"

"But ?"

Louis sighed , "I don't know . It didn't seem like a big deal ."

Harry lifted Louis' chin up so he could look at him . "He was stalking you . It is a big deal . Why would you hide such thing from me ? This could've easily turned into a worse situation ."

"I don't know why , Harry , okay ? I didn't want you to get mad ." Louis put the bottle down next to him , now having free hands to wipe his cheeks from tears .

"Do you even realize how dangerous this is ? This man was fucking stalking you , and we don't even know yet what else he had planned . What if he planned to hurt you ? To kidnap you ?"

Louis kept quiet , only sniffled ; he knew Harry was right , and he knew he should've told him when he first started suspecting things .

Harry gripped the table as he kept quiet for a few moments , taking a few deep breaths . He brought his hand up to push his hair back , freezing when Louis flinched a bit away from his movement .

He stared at Louis with a frown , while Louis was avoiding eye contact - instead staring at a spot on Harry's shirt ; he didn't mean to flinch , it was out of a reflex he didn't know he had .

"I'll never hurt you ." Harry shook his head , "I will never lay my hands on you to hurt you ." He moved forward , his knees on either side of Louis' legs . Louis nodded as he bit his lower lip , "S-Sorry ."

"Never be sorry . Come here ." Harry pulled him into his lap for a cuddle , he kissed his temple and rubbed his back , "I need you to tell me if anything is wrong , if you feel threatened by anyone . I promise I'll take care of things ."

Louis pushed his face into his shoulder , Harry squeezed him , "I need to go , they're waiting in the interrogation room . Want to wait here or go home ?"

"I'll wait ." Louis pulled back from the hug and dried his cheeks , Harry held his chin as he kissed him , "Okay . You can take a shower , nap , eat - do anything you want . I'll try to get things done quickly so we can head home ."

Louis nodded , Harry kissed him a few more times , "Love you ."

"Love you ."
