Harry put his phone to his ear , waiting for Louis to pick up .

"Hazzie ."

Harry smiled at his cheery voice , "Hey baby . Everything alright ? I haven't heard from you since the morning ."

"Yeah I'm alright , just hanging out with Nialler at the Cafe . It's empty here , the snow drove everyone away ." Louis said , "I'm having hot chocolate ."

"Alright . Call me to pick you up when you're done , we'll go home together ."

"Okay . I'll talk to you later ."

"Love you baby ."

"Love you ."

About two hours later Louis called Harry and told him that he was ready to leave . Harry quickly gathered everything he needed and left the office building , driving to Sunshine Cafe to pick Louis up .

Harry parked outside the coffee shop and turned the heat up , so when Louis got in the car it was warm enough for him . He looked up in surprise when he saw a guy running out of the coffee shop and sprinting down the streets , slipping on the ice on his way .

He took his radio out as he stepped out of the car , "All units , there's a suspicious man who just ran out of Sunshine Cafe . Black pants , black jumper , red beanie , white shoes . Looks to be about 5"8 . Find him ."

He walked into the coffee shop , Louis was sitting at the bar in front of Niall , smiling at Harry as he walked over .

Harry took his hand , "A guy just ran out of here . What happened ?" He looked at Louis , then at Niall .

"Oh . Well it's Niall's friend , he was sitting with us . Then he said he needed to go so he left ." Louis explained , Niall nodded , "Yeah , said something about his oven . He doesn't live very far away from here , and just popped by to say hi ."

Harry looked between the two of them , Louis frowned a bit , "Is everything okay ?"

"Something doesn't quite feel right about this ." Harry shook his head . "I'll have to look into this ."

"Maybe you scared him away when you showed up ." Louis nudged him with his shoulder playfully , Niall laughed a bit too .

Harry squeezed Louis' hand , "Let me make a few calls , then we'll leave ." He kissed the side of Louis' head , then turned to Niall , "What's your friend's name ?"

Niall told him the guy's name , Harry nodded and took his radio out , walking away from the two to talk into his radio . He talked to his cyber team , his guards , talked to Victor and Liam .

"Hey , hey , are you okay ?"

Harry turned to Louis and Niall , seeing Louis with his hand on his forehead , Niall was now standing next to him with a hand on his shoulder , looking concerned .

He quickly walked over , "What happened ?" He took Louis' face in his hands to examine him .

"No idea , he was alright , then he kind of dropped , said his head was heavy and everything looked blue ." Niall rubbed Louis' back lightly .

Harry frowned . "He's not feeling warm ." He looked into his eyes , pulling at his eyelids . His pupils looked blown wide .

"Why is your face blue ?" Louis asked , mumbling out the question .

Harry's jaw tightened once he realized what was happening . "You're high ." 

Louis blinked at him . "I'm kind of short , Hazza , what are you talking about ?"

Niall couldn't help his laugh , he quickly put a hand on his mouth to stop himself , seeing as Harry was visibly upset .

"How the fuck are you high ?" Harry asked , he wrapped his arms around Louis and picked him up from the bar stool . "Did you smoke anything ? You don't smell like smoke ." He sniffed his collar and shoulders .

Louis giggled a bit , "You're acting like Odin ."

"Oh shit ."

Harry turned to Niall , who stood there with his mouth hung open . He quickly shut his mouth and swallowed thickly . "I think he was given edibles ." He said , shivering at the angry look on Harry's face .

"Talk ."

"My -- my friend , he had a tupperware box of cookies . Louis had one , that was like , almost an hour ago ." Niall bit on his nails nervously , "I had no idea , I swear to god I didn't know . I don't do that crap ." He shook his head quickly , "I didn't even know those were edibles ! I didn't know he had that stuff with him . Shit ."

"Niall - look at me ."

Niall looked at Harry with a worried look on his face .

"I believe you . Calm down . We'll find him and investigate this ." Harry assured him , before walking out of the coffee shop with Louis still in his arms .

Louis let out a gasp when he was hit with the freezing cold air , "Oh no , I'm an ice cream now . God , it's so cold !" He stuffed his face into Harry's neck and shivered . "I can't be an ice cream !"

Harry said nothing , he opened the car door for Louis and sat him in the passenger's seat , buckling his seatbelt for him before closing the door . He took his radio out and notified everyone about illegal drugs being used , before going into the driver's seat .

He started driving to his and Louis' mansion , Louis had his head lolled to the side to look at Harry while he was driving .

It was quiet for a bit before Louis spoke up , "Hazzie ."

Harry looked at him briefly , then turned back to the road .

Louis pouted , "Hazzie ." He said in a whine . 

Harry still said nothing . He was too upset at the situation to think about anything else .

They arrived at the mansion , Harry parked in the underground garage and stepped out of the car , walking around to the passenger's side to help Louis out .

He opened the passenger's door , frowning at the sight of Louis with tears in his eyes . He unbuckled him , "Baby ." He said in concern , and just that nickname was enough to start Louis' waterworks .

He covered his face in his hands as he cried , Harry's heart twisted in his chest as he wrapped his arms around him , "Baby why are you crying ? What's wrong ?" He asked gently as he rubbed his back .

Louis only cried into his hands more , sliding down in his seat a bit to make himself smaller . Harry squeezed him tighter , "Baby talk to me . You're making me worried ." He pressed soft kisses to the side of his head .

"Wh-Why are you upset with me ?" Louis sniffled , voice shaking and weak , "Wh-Why are you mad at me , I didn't do an-nything wrong ." He wiped his face with his sweater paws .

"I'm not upset with you ." Harry shook his head , "I'm not mad at you ."

"Y-You are , though ."

"I am not upset with you ." Harry held his face in his hands to look into his eyes ; looking into Louis' glassy eyes made his heart squeeze . "I'm upset there's someone in the city who was having drugs and I had no idea about this . I hate that you were given illegal drugs which I could have prevented by finding him sooner ."

Louis sniffled and blinked his eyes , holding his bottom lip in his teeth .

Harry kissed Louis' forehead , then pressed a soft kiss to his lips , "Let's go inside ." He helped Louis out of the car , an arm wrapped around his waist as he walked with him into the mansion .

He helped Louis change his clothes , even putting fluffy socks on him . He tucked him into bed and gave him water , hoping the high would come down quick .

"Hazzie ." Louis grabbed Harry's bicep and squeezed , "Can you get me some chocolate ? I'm really hungry ."

"I can cook you something if you're hungry ."

"Yeah but I'm hungry for sugar ." Louis patted his tummy , Harry stood up from the bed , "How about I make you some pancakes , then ?" He asked , an amused grin spreading on his lips at the sound of Louis' stomach rumbling .

Louis giggled and covered his stomach with his arms , "Oh no , it speaks now ."

"Speaks ? What was it saying ?" Harry asked in amusement .

"I don't know , I don't speak tummish ." Louis shrugged his shoulders .

"Tummish ." Harry laughed a bit , shaking his head as he walked out of the room to the kitchen . He grabbed his radio from his belt and asked for an update about the guy with the edibles .

The guards caught the guy and found drugs in his apartment , he was taken into interrogation at the office building . Police joined them at the apartment to help with the investigation , the cyber security team was working on trying to find any other links of the guy to other people who could be involved .

Harry made a few pancakes for Louis , he spread Nutella chocolate and stocked them ontop of each other , adding strawberries and topping it with whipped cream . He took the plate and fork to the second floor to Louis , who was texting on his phone while holding it very close to his face .

"Got your pancakes ." Harry said as he walked in , Louis moved his phone away and grinned , "Yay ." He sat up with a bit of a struggle , giving Harry a grin as he placed the plate and fork down in his lap . "Thank you ."

Harry leaned in to kiss him quickly , "Eat baby , I'm going to my office to start working ."

Louis pouted , "You're not staying ? I wanted to share my pancakes with you ."

Harry pursed his lips for a few seconds , before he gave in and sat on the edge of the bed in front of Louis . Louis grinned and dug into the pancakes , he took a bite for himself , then fed Harry a bite .

"I have a story to tell you ." Louis said as he was eating his pancakes .

"Tell me ."

"I was training with my pups this morning , and Mint and Apollo were being cute ." Louis said and took another bite of his pancakes .

Harry waited a bit for him to continue , though he didn't . "That's it ?"

"Yeah ."

Harry pushed back a smile as he nodded slowly . "Great story ."

Louis finished half of his plate , before he felt he was slowly coming back to himself . He finished his bite and looked up at Harry with a worried look on his face , "Oh my god ."

Harry looked into his eyes , seeing that his pupils were slowly going back to their normal size . He took the plate from his hands and put it away on the nightstand , "Hey baby ."

Louis' heart was hammering in his chest , he swallowed thickly as he stared ahead for a few seconds . He flinched in surprise when Harry's hands cupped his face , making Harry pull his hands back .

"I-I'm so sorry ." Louis said quielty and shook his head , sinking back a bit as he clutched the blankets in his hands .

"Nothing to be sorry for . You did nothing wrong ." Harry shook his head . He wanted to hug Louis , wanted to hold him and kiss him and comfort him . But Louis just flinched as if Harry was hurting him , and Harry hated it with a passion .

"Look at me ."

Louis looked up at Harry , his eyes were filled with tears that blurred his vision . Harry shook his head and moved closer , "You've got nothing to be sorry for . I'm not mad at you , not at all ." He couldn't stand the tears in Louis' eyes . He wrapped his arms around Louis and squeezed him in a tight hug , pressing gentle kisses to his shoulder and the side of his head .

"Take a deep breath . You're okay baby ." Harry said quietly as he held him closer , his hand rubbing up and down his back .

It took a bit before Louis was calmed down , he wiped his eyes to dry them and let out a sigh . Harry pressed a gentle kiss to his lips , "I need to go to the office building . Try to get some rest , take a nap . I'll be back later ."

Louis laid down , Harry tucked the blankets around him to keep him warm , he pressed a kiss to his cheek , "Call me for anything . I love you ."

"I love you ." Louis said back quietly .
