Harry stepped out of his Range Rover , his guards following , as they joined the other guards and Harley who stepped out of their Rovers .

"What's the plan ?" Harley asked as he approached Harry , the rest of the guards forming a half circle in front of the two .

Harry took his radio out . "Victor ."

"Mr. Styles ."

"We're at the location . What time are you catching up ?"

"Four minutes away ."

Harley turned to the guards , "Four minutes . Search the area , look around for anything suspicious . Groups of three ."

The guards scattered , Harry moved to the back of his Rover and opend the trunk , pulling out a gun and handing it to Harley along with two catridges , then took a gun and two catridges for himself .

"You look worried ." Harry said teasingly to Harley .

Harley only teased back , "Worried for you , I know blood makes you squeamish ."

Harry gave him a faint smile and a clap on the shoulder , before they walked to join the guards in scanning the area .

"Any plans for the weekend ?" Harley asked , making little conversation .

"Louis asked to stay in this weekend . Maybe invite the lads over for a drink one evening ." Harry said , "You ?"

"Going to my in-laws , for my little one's birthday ." Harley smiled , "She's turning four ."

"Cute . I'll send her a present ."

"You've already given her one - and that's me and my time off ." Harley assured him , "She loves it when I spend my time with her ."

"I know the feeling ." Harry nodded , thinking of how Louis was always grateful for gifts , but the thing he cherished the most was quality time with Harry .

Harley stopped walking , pulling Harry out of his thoughts and making him stop aswell .

"What ." Harry tightened his hold on his gun .

"There's something --"

Harley was cut off by a gunshot , and a second later Harry was on the ground .

"Sniper !!" Harley called and cocked his gun , shooting a few bullets up to where he heard the gunshot from .

The guards joined him , Harley looked down at Harry and sighed in relief ; the bullet grazed the side of his head , making him pass out from the shock .

"Do not let anyone leave the building . Secure it from every side , make sure no one gets in or out ." He grabbed Harry's arm and dragged him , the two medic guards helped him as they dragged Harry to a safe spot behind one of the Rovers .

The medics quickly got to work , and soon enough Victor joined them with four more Rovers .

Liam and Victor jumped out of the Rover , quickly realizing that something was going on .

Harley caught up to them , "There's a sniper in this building ," He nodded at the building that the guards were securing , "Tried to assassinate Harry . The bullet only grazed the side of his head ."

Liam quickly got to work , he pulled his radio out and started giving orders to more teams . Victor gave orders to the guards who arrived with them , then turned to Liam , "Louis . Where is Louis ."

Louis finished feeding the dogs , he tidied up the training room and went to the lounge to grab himself something to eat .

Just as he finished making himself a cup of tea , Axel and three more guards entered the pavilion , quickly finding Louis in the lounge .

"Mr. Styles , we were given orders to escort you to floor minus 2 ." Axel said , Louis nodded and grabbed his phone , following the guards . "What happened ?"

"We will be able to tell you once you're safe in minus 2 ." Axel said and the group hurried into the building .

Louis looked around him , not seeing Liam , Victor or Harley around . He slowed down to a stop at the entrace of the building . "Tell me or I'm not going with you ."

Axel sighed and shook his head , "I was given orders not to tell you ."

"Did Harry give the order ?" Louis asked .

"No Sir ."

"Then you will tell me what happened ." Louis stood his ground .

Axel ran his fingers through his hair and sighed . "A sniper tried to assassinate Mr. Styles , we were given orders to bring you to a safe place ."

Louis' heart dropped in his chest , breath caught in his throat . He turned on his heels and started running towards his car .

"Stop !"

Axel and the guards ran after him , they managed to stop him halfway through the car park .

"Get off ! Let go !" Louis tried moving them away , but he was taken with them to the building . "I h-have to go see him ! I have to see him !" He resisted with tears forming in his eyes .

In a desperate move he grabbed his gun from his belt and cocked it , pointing it at the guards . "Let go . Now ."

They stopped , the guards slowly took a step back from him .

"Please , Sir . We need --" Axel tried again , but Louis stopped him .

"No . You want to help ? You can escort me to the hospital to see Harry ." He stated . "I'm not going anywhere but to Harry . You can't stop me ."

Louis was escorted to the hospital with five Range Rovers ; it was the only way Axel allowed it to happen . He also had to put on a bulletproof vest and have guards circle him like a shield the entire time .

Liam and , Victor and Harley spoke to Louis over the radio , informing him of everything . Louis clutched the radio tightly as he was taken into the hospital with guards surrounding them , waiting with him for Harry's arrival .

Zayn was allowed into the circle of guards and reached Louis , Louis gave him a tight hug , "God , I swear I'm a second away from locking him in at home and not letting him leave ."

"So now you understand how he's been feeling about you since the day he met you ." Zayn teased , laughing when Louis whined a bit at his words .

"Don't worry about him , he'll be okay . He should be here in a few minutes , and he was already treated at the scene ." Zayn assured him .

"I know . It still gives me a fright every time he gets injured or something happens to him ."

Zayn gave him a squeeze before pulling back from the cuddle , "I'll go to the ER , see that everything is ready ."

Louis nodded and watched as Zayn left through the guards , Axel came through with a water bottle and a chocolate bar .

"Mr. Payne's order ." He said and handed it to Louis , who took it and thanked him quietly .

Harry was finally done in the ER , he was awake and responsive , sitting still as Zayn stitched the wound on the side of his scalp .

"Mr. Malik ."

Zayn halted the stitching and looked to the side , seeing Axel . They shared a quick look and nodded at each other , before Axel left the room .

"What was that about ?" Harry asked , and not even three seconds later Louis ushered into the room , sighing in relief when he saw that Harry was awake .

"Harry ." He sniffled , tears filling his eyes . He reached to hold Harry's outstretched hand with both his hands , holding it to his chest .

"Why aren't you in the safe room ?"

"You really think I'd sit in a safe room after someone tried to kill you ?" Louis raised an eyebrow .

"Well , yeah , if someone tried to kill me , I wouldn't want anyone else to try to kill you too ." Harry squeezed his hands , "I'll have to fire some guards ."

"You're insufferable ." Louis rolled his eyes , "They tried taking me but I pulled my gun at them and told them to take me to you ."

A wide smirk spread on Harry's lips , "That's my baby . I taught you well ."

"They had to pull out five Rovers to escort me , and they literally circled me the entire time ."

"Looks like I won't have to break some noses after all ." Harry pulled at Louis' hands to bring him closer until their knees knocked together .

"He threatened to keep you locked up if you continued to get injured ." Zayn chimed in as he finished with the stitches , using disinfectant to clean the wound and the dry blood around it .

Harry's smirk widened even more , "Definitely taught you well . Now you finally know how I feel about you ."

Zayn took his tools and moved away from Harry to clean things up , Harry grabbed Louis and pulled him into his lap sideways , arms wrapping tightly around him as he pressed a kiss to his lips .

Louis kissed back , then pulled away , "Zee is still here ." He told Harry quietly and tried moving off his lap , though Harry refused to let go .

"Stay ." Harry tried pulling him closer , though Louis stood up and took Harry's hands , "Wait for me here , okay ?" He squeezed his hands and went over to Zayn .

"Zee ."

"Yes Lou ."

"After the stitches , is there a need for him to stay in the hospital or I can take him home ?"

Zayn looked over to Harry , who was already back to giving orders over the radio .

"I'll sign him out . He needs to rest for the next few days , both because of the stitches and his head ."

"Okay . Thanks , Zee ." Louis gave him a quick hug , before going back to Harry , "Come on , let's go home ."

"Going to lock me up ?" Harry smirked as he stood up , he felt dizzy for a second and Louis was quick to grab him around the middle to steady him .

Zayn helped Louis walk Harry out of the room , Liam took Zayn's spot on Harry's side so Zayn could go finish with the papers to release him .

Harley approached them , "Ready to leave ? Your Rover is up front ."

"Yes , let's get going ." Liam nodded , the guards circled them as they were escorted outside and to the Rover waiting for them .

Harry insisted on Louis getting into the Rover first , Louis huffed and got inside , Harry sat beside him as Liam closed the door and got into the passenger's seat .

Louis hugged Harry's arm , "How are you feeling ?"

"The best ."

Louis huffed again and pressed his face to Harry's shoulder , feeling Harry pressing a kiss to the top of his head .
