On the parade I had a sliver spiky dress. I had a spiky crown on my head with my hair let down.
Paris was dressed up almost the same as me.
"We look ridiculous." He said.
"I can agree with that." I said.
"But we're not the only ones." He pointed at District 3 tributes behind us.
They had weird lines on their clothes that were spoussed to symbolize electricity.

When it was time to begin, we were told to act proud.
We stand on the platform and looked at the sky. They loved us, I could tell that from their screams.

Waking up, I put my hair in a ponytail and quickly dress up.

Today is the training.

We met with Anne and Orion yesterday. They seem pretty cool but I don't got to know them better.

Through all the kinds of training I felt other tributes looking at us.
Those were scared looks, we're the biggest threat on the arena.
The feeling that other people were scared of me, felt great. It made me feel bigger. I loved that feeling and I it made me want more.

"Hey, Sasha." I heard a voice behind me. It was Anne from 1. She was very pretty, she had black hair in a messy bun and green eyes. Anne was 17 years old. She had a pearl necklace on her neck which probably she was going to take on the arena.
"Oh, hi Anne." I said.
"What weapon do you fight with?" She asked.
"Throwing knives."
"You?" I added.
"I fight with a sword." She said.
"What about Orion?"
"He uses a bow, what about Paris?"
"He has a trident."
"Isn't like a District 4 thing?"
"I told him that but he keeps using it anyway."
"Paris said that you know a lot about past games." She said.
"Yeah, kinda."
"Why didn't we win the other Quarter Quels?" She asked.
"Can you tell me about them?" She said.
"Well, the first Quarter Quel was the one that we won, people were voting for who should go on the arena. The second was won by 12, there 48 people on the arena that year. The third was also won by a District 12 tribute. That year people from age 12 to 14 were taking part, our people died in the Bloodbath that year." I started explaining.
"That's pathetic, what about the 4th Quarter Quel?" She asked.
"Won by a District 4 tribute, 5th was won by District 8, 6th by District 3 and 7th by District 11." I explained.
"I see, how do you know that?"
"My parents made me learn that." I said.
"Something is telling me that your parents are strict." She said.
"They are. My dad didn't show up to say goodbye to me before the games."
"That's horrible, you can die and he didn't come." She replied.
Then she took out a small ruby bracelet from her pocket.
"Here it's for you." She put on my hand.
"Thank you." I answered.

Later, Paris told me that he also received a gift from Anne. She wanted to give them to all of us. When I asked her about it, she said that most of the time the careers fall apart during the games. She wanted to give us a symbol that will remain everyone that we are a team.
Paris got a sapphire ring and Orion got an emerald pin.

...

"Tomorrow you will preform your skills." Oli said.
"Chose the skill that your the best in." He added.
"When you get to the arena, you're the one who is in charge of the Bloodbath. It's up to your four how long it will last and how many people die. Don't screw this up." Clover said.
"No pressure." Paris said sarcastically.

At the skill performance went really good. I threw the knives in all places and I didn't miss once.
We were waiting for our results in one room.
"I hope you didn't mess this up." Clover said.
"Clover, you shouldn't go that hard on them. Those training points doesn't really matter anyway." Oli said.

The TV turned on and we started watching.
