Cynthia's POV

It just happened all of a sudden.

Me being captured by Mard Geer, held captive, now Alegria.

I felt the ground to shook as I was still being held by Mard's thorns, squeezing me in its possession as my blood continued to seep through my now tattered clothes. I don't even know of what this Alegria really is or does. All I know is that the whole castle was in an earthquake of some sort and that Mard found a way to get into my guild's telepathy.

"Lord Mard Geer... if you continue like this our soldier are going to..." I heard Kyouka to say.

"Corrosion." Mard continued to say, taking a step forward.

"Sacrifice." was on the second step.

"Death and Rebirth. Despair and Hope. What foolish species. This cube itself is a giant prison. Everything inside this brute grim is." he added.

"What are you even saying?" I winced in pain.

"Are you deaf or something?" Kyouka glared in my direction and I rolled my eyes but continue to stare back at Mard Geer who looked in shock along with Kyouka.

"So someone managed to escape. The clutches of Alegria?" he said.

"Heh. Don't underestimate Fairy Tail." I coughed, my blood slowly dripping down onto my chin.

"It's only the start my dear Cynthia." he chuckled as I continued to glare at him.

"And it's only the start of Fairy Tail to bring your asses down!" I barked.

"In terms of percentages, that was a one in a billion chance. What dumb luck...no... to be left at the Gates of Hell... what horrible misfortune." he smirked and I felt uneasy about this. The minute he brought up the word and idea of Alegria... I knew that something bad is about to happen or something even worse.

"Whoever that person is... will do whatever it takes to bring all of you Tartaros down!" I shouted, not caring about my wounds.

"Alegria has eradicated all the intruders. Operation Face is progressing as planned." I saw Mard to turn over to Kyouka.

"You are free to go Kyouka. But do not disappoint me next time." he smiled mischievously as the vines that were wrapped around Kyouka, were now loose.

"Yes Mard Geer-sama." she bowed before disappearing, only leaving me and the Demon King himself. Thinking that this was giving me an opportunity to fight back, I squirmed in my spot trying to get out or chant any magic. But sadly, it didn't work because of the vines that were increasing its hold around me, making me to scream in pain.

"Trying to escape, are we?" he said, placing his thumb and index finger under my chin.

"Trying to escape from you and to stop you from any plans you have in mind!" I spat.

"Enough. It is no use. The more you move, the more in pain and suffocating you will endure. Besides... I have useful plans to use you in the near future."

"What kind of plans?" I grunted.

"Zeref."

"Zeref?"

"He has interest in you. You are his weakness... well one of them."

"What are you-"

"You are thinking of what is Alegria... aren't you?" he chuckled, cutting me off and walked up to his throne.

"What if I am?" I scoffed, putting the conversation about Zeref we had, to the side. I glanced up only to see Mard who pressed his grin even wider as he sat down on his throne in front of me.

"You are... Alegria is the cube that we are on right now. I turned it into a monster that has a watery substance that floods the entire castle and grounds."

"S-Stop..." I stammered in fear.

"Hmph. Anyone who gets caught in this will be completely frozen in place. Or should I say... dead."

"T-They can't be dead! They are alive! I just know it!" I shouted.

"Not anymore. Except for that one duck. Poor human." he said in disgust as I clenched my hands into tight fists.

"Shut up." I muttered, my bangs hovering over my face.

"What was that?" he asked in arrogance.

"I said you need to shut up. Mard Geer." I gritted.

"Oh. So scary you are." he chuckled.

"Bite me." I dared.

"Maybe I will."

"Fairy Tail is alive and we have a strong bond together. We are family and we will fight back with our hearts set! You won't win or Zeref." I said calmly.

"What confidence you have."

"It's the courage to protect my family."

"Not for long."

"What is that supposed to mean?!" I shouted but was dropped onto the ground and no longer in the vines grasp. I grunted in pain as I felt my body to go numb, my vision started to get blurry.

"Shall we go?" he smiled as he pulled me up from my spot and soon brought me up to his chest.

"W-What are you doing?! Let go of me you demon!" I snarled but didn't budge him one bit.

"We are going to visit someone."

"Who is this someone?" I asked curiously but was ignored as we walked towards his destination, dragging me behind him.

------

"Are we almost there yet?" I whined. Still dizzy from the loss of blood from before, but thankfully I managed to slightly heal them myself.

"Mard Geer wants you to stop whining like a baby." he answered bluntly without looking back.

"I'm not a baby." I pouted and soon stuck my tongue out at him.

"Well this is a surprise..." I heard him to say.

"What?" I raised an eyebrow in confusion, but soon felt the whole ground to shake once more making me to fall onto my knees. I gripped onto the ground trying to not fly anywhere because of the rapid and strong pressure of wind currents that appeared out of nowhere. I shut my eyes not knowing of what's happening around my surroundings, but continued to feel the ground to shake.

"Open your eyes human." I heard Mard to say.

"Huh?"

"Don't let Mard Geer repeat his words."

"Whatever." I scoffed and peeked one eye open to see that the two of us weren't being affected, but somehow protected at the flying debris. Mard was standing near me with a small grin plastered on his face as I looked at him in confusion.

"W-What's happening?!" I asked in shock.

"..."

'Fine don't answer back. You're honestly hard to talk with.' I whined in my thoughts but stopped to see that the ground stopped from shaking. I gazed around to see that the whole place was practically damaged. Debris was everywhere. Everything was destroyed and the castle was no longer there.

"What on Earthland..." I mumbled under my breath.

"I can't believe there really was someone among them capable of summoning the Spirit King." Mard said in amusement.

"Spirit King...?" I said softly, only to look up in front of us to see the Celestial Spirit King himself.

"As ever... you carry that book... it truly has been a long time." he paused before he turned towards me. "Cynthia Adara... a dear old friend... I see that you're back alive... Welcome back. But may I ask why a friend of my old friend is with this King." he asked and I sweatdropped but continued to stare at him in shock.

"I-it's a long story actually. A-Aren't you... suppose to be in the Celestial Spirit world?! H-How..." I managed to croak.

"Details will be later, I presume that you have been captured by him?" he asked and I nodded my head a yes to answer.

"This is the soul of E.N.D. Tartaros itself." Mard said, cutting our conversation and I glared over to him but later eyed towards the book he was holding in his left arm.

"Soul?" I asked softly.

"What are you plotting, King of Hades?" Celestial King asked.

"You ought to have a pretty good idea by now... we will revive E.N.D and return to Zeref." he simply answered.

"Revive E.N.D?! No you won't!" I shouted to see him snicker in my direction.

"Is that why my old friend lies fallen, wounded?" Celestial King asked. I felt my heartbeat to increase, my chest tightening at the idea. 'It couldn't be... could it?! Lucy got hurt?! Everyone else has fallen?!' I thought worriedly and in panic.

"Yes." was all that Mard answered.

"Is that why my old friend cries her tears?"

"Let us decide our inevitable conflict here and now, Spirit King." Mard said.

"I swear upon my old friend's determination and our contract together. I will destroy her enemies." Spirit King answered confidently.

"Come."

"I shall never... Forgive Thee!!" the Celestial King shouted as he brought down a powerful attack towards Mard Geer. Thankfully I managed to escape it in time and looked back to see in shock as to how much power the King had and how much he had destroyed most of the land. My eyes widened in sock to see that Mard was unharmed, but did a powerful come back towards the Celestial King.

"Thorn!" Mard chanted.

"Guhh!"

"Perish at the hands of my infinitely multiplying Thorn Curse."

I looked to see that many multiple and huge thorns managed to pierce through the Celestial King in many directions, making me to gasp. "S-So powerful..." I stammered but was caught off guard once more to see that the Celestial King managed to swing his sword around, cutting all of the thorns that were once pierced into him.

"Unharmed..." I heard Mard to say.

"Meteor Blade!" Celestial king shouted as a huge powerful .

"Now is my chance! It's all up to you Celestial King!" I shouted and ran into the opposite direction of trying to find Lucy or anyone. 'But damn... they're both so powerful... I would've been dead already...' I gulped as I continued to sprint.

'Please be okay, Lucy... Everyone.'

Timeskip - 30 Minutes Later ~ (Just approx.)

"Where am I now?" I groaned to see nothing, except for Alegria that Mard mentioned and debris that were scattered on the ground. It's been awhile since I've been looking around, but no sign of anyone or Lucy in fact. I sighed out in frustration to hear a voice near me.

"You are..." I heard them to say and I glanced towards the source. My eyes bugged out to see a very familiar person in front of me who looks entirely different than the last time I saw them. Which was probably almost half a year ago.

"M-Minerva..." I choked.

"Never thought I would see your face again, Fairy." she smirked making me to go uneasy.

"What happened to you?" I asked, staring up at her to see her new appearance of a...

"Demon. Yes... I feel power surging within me." she smirked wider.

"A demon now? Why did you let them do this to you?! You're better than that Minera!" I shouted, only to see her irritated with my words.

"You sound just like Erza..." she pointed.

"Huh?"

"Look."

Feeling uncertain of her words, I looked to my left to see a face that was covered in the watery substance of Alegria. My heart for a moment stopped its beating, my body froze to see a very familiar comrade of mine.

"E-Erza-san?!" I stared in shock to see her in a frozen state.

"Thought you would've got caught as well... since you aren't part of Tartaros." she said calmly.

"Well sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't." I scoffed.

"Ah it doesn't matter. You're a sore sight to look at anyways. All I want... is to fight Erza." she emphasized her name.

"You..."

"Since you're here... maybe you could entertain me until Erza gets back!" she chuckled getting ready into a fighting stance.

"Entertain you? That'll cost you."

"Cost me what? Does it look like I have jewel with me?" she arched an eyebrow.

"It'll cost you, your life." I sneered.

"Before we even battle... How are those cowards Sting and Rogue doing?" she asked, making my head to go fuzzy.

"S-Sting...? Rogue?" I asked calmly... feeling my chest to tighten again.

"That lame White Dragon Slayer who had the hots for you and the Shadow one who was always weak." she answered.

"T-They're somewhere..." I said, gritting my teeth feeling anger rushing within me.

"Hmph. Something tells me that you're lying."

"That's none of your business!" I shouted and sprint towards her with my spear in my hand that I had just equipped with.

"You're right... It isn't. Sabertooth is a now weak guild that I left." she paused, making me to feel angry and upset at the same time. "Come..." she taunted.

"Lost Magic... Light Shower!" I shouted with my hands pressed together on my spear, as a thousand light arrows went straight towards her. But somehow got teleported and disappeared. "Crap... I forgot you can do that."

"Stop talking." Minerva said and ran towards me, before swinging her claw towards me. Luckily I had my spear with me and blocked her attack, only to find myself being pushed backwards a slight bit.

"Not so strong are you?" she grinned.

"You haven't seen my full power just yet, Minerva." I growled and pushed her back with my spear before punching her gut with my Light of Golden Smash.

"Gwuah!" I heard her to groan.

"Is that all you got, Minerva?" I taunted to see her with a scowl.

"Cynthia!" she roared.

"Minerva!"

"Yagdo Rigora!" Minerva chanted, as a statue created a powerful blast towards me.

"Shatter, fragments of Integrity!" I yelled as my spear dispersed in my hand and soon its particles were travelling towards Minerva, emitting a bright golden light before an explosion came through.

"Heavenly Light Barrier!" I added as I shielded myself from Minerva's oncoming attack.

"I-I'm impressed..." Minerva huffed through the dust that was starting to clear.

"Don't underestimate me." I said sternly as I recollected the fragments of my spear that was returning back into its form. In a sudden moment, I felt my body to weaken making me to wobble. I was forced to go down onto my knees while gripping onto my spear for support that was stabbed onto the ground.

"Oh my... What happened?" Minerva taunted as I started to cough up more blood.

"Damn it..."

"Looks like you're not completely healed yet." she laughed and I glared towards her.

"It was him."

"Him?"

"Mard Geer and his damn thorns..." I spat, trying to remember those thorns that gave me this condition. I know I did healed myself on the way... but they're coming back again.

"Mard Geer?"

"Don't make me repeat myself." I huffed to see her smiling but before she could even answer back, I felt the ground to shake once more, but with less vibration that the last time.

"What on earth is that light..." I heard Minerva to say, who was staring into a far distance from us. I coughed while trying to pull myself up with my spear to see the light that Minerva was talking about. It was a huge white light beam that made a huge explosion. Ten times more powerful than the one that I have encountered up face not too long ago.

"Celestial King..." I croaked to feel a gust of wind passing near me and heading straight towards Minerva.

My purple eyes were glued to see that long scarlet hair that was breezing through the wind. And there was only one person who has that hair color.

"Erza-san..." I cried.
