Cassidy P.O.V

I heard a thump and looked behind me. My brother Frisk was there. He started moving his hands, my brother is a mute so he had to learn sign language but so did I. That's alright though, I'd do anything for the little rascal!

Can you, me, and Andrew go to the park near Mt Ebott? He asked

I gave him a thumbs up.

Sure, but we have to be back by two. And yes, Andrew can come here too.

Your probably thinking why aren't you talking? Well it would be rude to Frisk and it helps his Sign language improve.

But! I signed

I grinned and Frisk frowned. I picked him up and squeezed him.

You have to prove your strong enough!

He stopped wiggling and grinned, a quiet rumble escaped from his mouth which meant he was laughing. I spun us around and he continued to laugh. I stopped and we rubbed noses. He wrapped his little hands around my eyes and I playfully groaned.

Oh no! Little hands! My only weakness! I signed and I fell to the floor and Frisk continued to cover my eyes.

Your gonna miss your play date Frisk. I chuckled

He instantly jumped up and pulled on his sweater.

Can you take your coat too?

He shook his head no.

Ok but don't complain about how cold it is!

I slipped my hoodie on and yelled that me and Frisk were going out to my Great G.

Ready?

He nodded and grabbed my hand,pulling me out the door and into the freezing air. He grabbed the hiking stick that I got him, it actually was just a stick I found but he won't go anywhere without it.

Frisk started shivering so I picked him up and zipped my hoodie around our body's. He sighed relaxed and snuggled deeper into my hoodie. I chuckled and kept one arm around his bottom so he didn't slip out. I saw Andrew wearing a thick coat, a hat, and a scarf.

See Drew wore his coat! Frisk stuck his tongue out

I went to unzip my hoodie so Frisk could get out but he shook his head no. I felt him shaking so I felt his hands, they were freezing! I took off my mittens and put them on Frisk.

Andrew waved and started swinging. Frisk slipped out of my hoodie and ran up to Andrew facing away from me. I saw Andrew nod and he got off the swing. I expected them to come over to me but they bolted up a trail that led to a famous cave on Mt Ebot.

"Frisk get back here now!" I shouted.

I ran after them andI made it to the cave but I didn't see them.

"FRISK, ANDREW!?" My voice bounced off the walls and I took a step forward.

I saw a vine that led into a giant hole and saw it sway a little. They climbed down into the hole!?

"Frisk don't make me come down there!" I groaned.

I was more worried than angry, I mean who knows! What if the vine snapped and they got hurt!? I gathered a couple more vines together and started climbing down. After a few feet I couldn't see anything not even the top of the hole!

I felt one of the vines give and it fell past me limp. I started freaking out and started climbing down faster. The second vine started ripping so I cried out.

"HELPP! SOMEONE PLEASE!" I felt the vine give way and I started free falling towards the holes bottom.

I braced for impact and my shoulder and then the rest of me hit something soft. I opened my eyes and I saw I landed in a patch of red flowers. I sat up and looked around a path that lead to a door was the only thing here besides the flowers.

I saw something emerge from the door and a white furry foot stepped into the light along with part of a tattered red and black robe. I looked up trying to see the person's face.

"Are you ok child?" The person asked worried, finally stepping into the light.

She kind of looked like a goat mixed with a bunny.

"I'm fine..."I said in shock

"Come follow me" she said holding out her hand

"My name is Toriel. What is yours child?" She asked

"Cassidy b-but Cassy is fine." She smiled.

Her eyes were rather, well, creepy...red pupils and the rest was black. Something was off with her smile as well....everything about her was creepy...The way she stood, hunched over with a slight limp when she walked...Claws that could kill...Razor sharp teeth. The only thing that said she was nice was her voice but even that was hoarse and gravely.

"Don't be scared child. I'm here to hElp yOU" her voice became distorted and deeper causing me to jump back.

But I landed on uneven ground and hit my head really hard on a rock. The last thing I saw was her worried face as she picked me up.

Toriel P.O.V

My concentration slipped and my real voice emerged for a second. But that was enough to spook the human to where they fell back and hit their head on a rock. I rushed forward and picked her up. I felt the back of her head and I pulled my hand back when I felt a liquid. My hand was covered in blood.

A smile cracked my face and I licked the blood off my hand. I suddenly stopped, slapping myself so I could focus. I ran her back to my home deeper in the ruins.
