Malory closed her eyes and hummed in approval and pleasure as the scalding hot coffee she was holding, accidentally spilt on her hand as the hand of her therapist tried to take the mug away.

"Ah- Malory! Good grief, I swear it's like I'm looking after a toddler with you!" Rachel exclaimed unhappily, taking the dark-haired woman's wrist and pulling her over to the sink.

"It's just a burn, Rachel!" The burnt woman cried in protest, trying to prolong the burning sensation by tugging her arm away.

She failed, however, when Rachel simply grabbed it again and stuck her hand into the running, ice cold water.

"Burns aren't good, no matter how good you think they feel." Rachel hissed through gritted teeth, as Malory bit her lip at the pleasurable feeling of the pain.

"I see nothing wrong with them..." She replied, sighing sadly as the feeling faded and as Rachel began tending the fresh wound.

"Shut up, just shut up, alright?" The stressed therapist snapped, going under the kitchen sink in her patient's kitchen to get the unopened first aid kit, going through it for burn ointment and something to wrap her hand in.

Malory did as she was told for once and didn't reply, simply sighing again and holding her hand out for her friend.

After Rachel calmed down and finished treating the burn, then Malory decided to speak.

"I've missed four flights to Montana by now..." She said quietly, quickly moving out of the kitchen and into the entranceway next to it, and picking up her small, only suitcase.

The blonde sighed very heavily and rubbed her temples, closing her eyes for a very long moment.

"Malory, listen to me, alright? Just this once, pay attention and listen." She opened her eyes and began straightening up the kitchen quickly, not looking to the person she was trying to not strangle.

The person in question nodded silently and set her bag down, recognising the fact that the poor woman was beginning to reach her limit, and just like Rachel had the previous night, Malory needed to leave her be.

"I understand the situation. And I can't force you to not go, but if you do, you have to take your medications, and eat food while you're gone. And you need to keep a reactors, but at LEAST eat food. Will you promise me?" The blonde turned to look at the dark-haired woman, sincerely concerned.

Malory shrugged and nodded without a word, looking to her feet.

"I'm serious. Can you not see that? Don't just nod and don't do it." Rachel sighed, rubbing her forehead for a moment.

Malory nodded again, not knowing what to say.

Rachel wouldn't be able to respond without saying something sarcastic, passive-aggressive or just flat out rude, so she just sighed heavily again, stepped forward, and hugged the rather tall woman.

Malory had no idea what to do, her eyes were wide with confusion... She thought Rachel was upset with her, why was she hugging her?

After a few agonisingly awkward seconds for the both of them, Rachel pulled away and put her hands on her hips and waved her hand towards the door.

"Go get your next flight. Call me before you take off and when you land. Keep me updated, be safe." She sighed, taking the plastic bag of medication bottles and stuffing them into Malory's bag.

"...thank you. I will." Malory mumbled, still unsure of what to think and standing rather stiffly, now unsure of what to do next as well.

Rachel rolled her eyes heavily and picked up her patient's suitcase, and opened the door for her.

The tall woman stepped out, waited for the short woman, and then followed her down the halls to the parking garage.

A similar thing that happened upstairs did there as well, so Rachel just drove Malory to the airport, the awkwardness rather thick in the air.

Though, the awkwardness was slightly invaded by the obvious and growing worry the doctor had for her patient.
