After the cab finally arrived at the park that Harley had instructed Malory to go to, Malory climbed out and got her bag, and just stood on the curb as the cab drove off. And she continued to stand there, only taking a couple steps forward to be further away from the road as she looked around.

It was an hour before Harley found her, and when she did she ran up and hugged her older sister tightly, nearly causing Malory to full-out attack her from the surprise.

"Harley!" she scolded, stumbling back a bit.

"Don't you scold me, I haven't seen you in years!" Harley argued, keeping a tight hold of the taller woman.

"Only four..." Malory grumbled, narrowing her eyes at a tree since she couldn't at Harley.

"That's still years." Harley countered, pulling away and wrapping an arm around her sisters shoulders as she began leading her the direction of her car.
"Any way. I figured we could grab a bite, I'd take you home, visit for the night, then tomorrow we can get the money issue settled, then just drive around, do the fun stuff."

Malory literally could not stop herself from grimacing.
"You do know what I have been doing, what I've been developing and fighting the last four years... Correct? I'd much prefer to take care of the money, spend the night, then go home." She replied dryly, rubbing her palms on her jeans.
Harley looked over at Malory as if she had just spoke in another language.

"What's happened to you?" She asked in an accusatory tone, her brow furrowed.
The taller woman pulled away from her sister as they approved a vehicle.

"I grew up, then I broke." Mal said in a low tone, hopefully implying that she didn't want to talk about it. She punctuated the implication with a firm period, as she climbed in the car and closed the door, leaving her sister to put her suitcase in the Mazda.
