Taehyung looked at Y/N and was silent for a little while, his face changed. "He must be in trouble, I can't contact him for a few days as well."

The glass on Y/N's hand fell after he said it. The glass shattered everywhere. The hot water splattered on Y/N's feet but she seemed unaffected by it. She gazed at Taehyung: "What did you say?"

"Y/N..."

Y/N didn't say anything then got up from her seat to leave. Of course Taehyung was worried so he followed her out. She was getting inside her car and left. She didn't even look at him calling her name.

Taehyung was panicking, he ran inside and took his car key to chase after her. Y/N drove her car so fast and there were several cars behind her so it was quite hard for Taehyung to catch up. Y/N turned her car to the right but because of the traffic light, he needed to stop.

He pulled out his phone, trying to call Y/N but she didn't answer.

Finally, he found her car in front of Taemin's house. She thought Taemin was the reason for Jimin's disappearance so she looked for him. He saw Y/N bump her car into Taemin's car. At that moment, Taehyung was really worried. He couldn't breath or blink.

Luckily even though Y/N drove her car at full speed, Taemin's driver was driving slowly and about to park so nobody got hurt in the process. Y/N then came out of her car. When he saw her, he finally regained his senses and undid his seatbelt to get out of his car.

Taemin also got out of his car along with his driver. Y/N immediately hit him but his driver hurriedly blocked her. When the driver screamed, Taehyung then pulled Y/N and noticed she was holding a big piece of shattered glass.

"I know it's you who kill Jimin and Joonie, I will fucking kill you!"

"Y/N, stop." Taehyung then noticed Y/N's hand was bleeding and it wasn't Taemin's driver blood but it was her blood. She hurt her palm when she grabbed the shattered glass. "Give me that thing." He said slowly. "Don't act recklessly, it's no use..."

Taemin watched them and shifted his gaze to Y/N. "Me?"

"It's you! I know it's you!" Y/N was emotional, she tried to break free from Taheyung: "Let me go! I'm going to kill this sick bastard!"

"Do you have the evidence?" Taemin teased her. "If you have it then just report it to the police because if you don't, I will report you for attempted murder."

Taehyung snatched the glass from Y/N's grip and threw it to the ground. But Taemin wasn't joking, he really reported to the police. The police came and took Y/N to the police station.

Taehyung followed behind, while calling Jungkook.

The police tried asking her questions but she was uncooperative. She didn't say anything. They also only wrapped her wound.
They tried to make her talk for hours but she kept quiet. "Ms, will you please cooperate with us? We've been here for several hours now, why didn't you say anything? What do you want? Do you want to be locked here? Mr Lee reported that you purposely bumped your car to his then you used this piece of glass to threaten to kill him. The driver is the witness."

Taehyung watched them from the glass window. Jungkook and his mother came toward him. "How is it?"

"They said if Taemin withdraws the report, we could take her home."

Taehyung was somewhat doubting it: "How can he not pursue this case?"

He remembered Jimin's last order for him to take good care of Y/N but now she was in trouble, how could he explain it to Jimin?

Even though there was still no news about Jimin whereabout.

"Keep watching her." Jungkook said and turned his body to leave.

Taehyung knew that Jungkook would think of a way.

Not long after, he could hear his mother's angry voice. "Are you crazy? Do you know how important that project is? How can you just hand it over to him? Do you think this would make Taemin withdraw his report? Even if he promised it, Taemin might still not be willing to do it. It's clear that Taemin wanted to give Y/N a lesson."

"Then what? Do you have a better plan?"

"I will not allow you to do that! Do you understand that your position is in danger? People in the company want you to leave the company now since you hurt your legs. Don't you see that he is waiting for you to fall? He is glaring like a lion watching his prey and now you want to pass that project to him? Are you crazy? I will not allow you to do that, do you hear me? I will not let the Jeon company fall into that illegitimate kid. It belongs to you..."

"Since I'm in charge of that project, then I can pass it to anyone." Jungkook's tone was persistent. "I will help Y/N no matter what."

"You!" His mother was furious. "If you do it then you should never regret it!"

"I won't."

"Okay, fine! Fine!" Her mother didn't say anything further, she turned her body to leave.

Jungkook then went to his car and left.

Taehyung sighed and went inside the police station to wait for the result. He stayed there for the whole night until Y/N finally freed. They then went to the hospital to treat her wound.

"How is Park Jimin?" Jungkook asked Taehyung.

"We still can't contact them. Nobody knows where he went, he didn't tell anyone. I only knew he went abroad. Other than that, I know absolutely nothing. We were always on the phone every night, I updated him about Y/N and the situation in Seoul everyday. But now his phone is off, Y/N thought that Jimin's disappearance was Taemin's doing so she got emotional and attacked him."

Jungkook pursed his thin lips. "You can go home now, I will take Y/N home. Please keep trying to locate Jimin, update me as soon as you get any information."

Taehyung nodded and left.

Since Y/N got off the police station, she was silent. Jungkook let the maid accompany her to her room. Shin Ji was worried that something bad would happen to her but Jungkook stopped her after he heard a sobbing noise from inside.

"Auntie, let her vent her feelings alone..."

"What happened?"

Jungkook told her about Park Jimin, but he didn't mention Park Joon Min.

"How can this happen?" Shin Ji was shocked.

Because Jungkook was afraid that Y/N would act reckless again, he stayed there for quite awhile until Shin Ji asked the butler to open the door. When she went inside, she noticed that Y/N was laying on her bed. She went out to tell Jungkook that Y/N was sleeping and he could leave with no worries.

"Then Auntie, please take good care of Y/N. If anything happens, please give me a call."

"Okay. Thank you, Jungkookie." Shin Ji stared at Jungkook's back as he was leaving. How she wished he was her son-in-law.

After Jungkook left, Shin Ji brought food to Y/N's room. When she got inside, she put the food on the table and sat on Y/N's bed side. She wasn't sleeping, she just laid down and stared at the ceiling. Shin Ji held her hand: "It will be okay. There's still no actual news from him, he is okay. Maybe he does this on purpose, sometimes no news means good news."

Y/N leaned on Shin Ji's shoulder and cried but she knew what Shin Ji said might be true.

"Try to eat something." Shin Ji patted her shoulder and comforted her.

Y/N shook her head.

Shin Ji sighed, she knew Y/N was not in a good mood. She didn't have an appetite. "Take a shower and sleep. Promise me that you won't do things like that again, don't make me worry..."

"Okay." Y/N finally said something, her voice was so hoarse.

She laid down and Shin Ji helped her to put the blanket over her. "Sleep."

Y/N closed her eyes, her mind was full of Jimin and Joon Min. She dreamt about them that night. Shin Ji, who was sleeping on the sofa, woke up when she heard Y/N scream. "What happened, Y/N?"

Y/N put her hands on her face, she dreamt about them being in the accident. It felt so real and it felt like she couldn't breathe.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Shin Ji wiped her sweat. "You dreamt about Jimin?"

Y/N clutched Shin Ji's hand and stared at her: "Ma...He is okay, right?"

Shin Ji was startled but she could understand that Y/N was looking for her comfort because she was too afraid, she wanted everyone to tell her that Jimin is okay.

"Of course, how can he not be okay? He hasn't done anything yet, he hasn't avenged his enemy yet. How can he let anything bad happen to him before he caught the killer of Madame Park?"

"You're right..." Y/N nodded and wiped her tears: "He hasn't done anything, he will be okay..."

Her phone suddenly rang, she looked at the ID and answered it. "Taehyung, how is it? Is there any news of Jimin?"

"No, I just want to let you know that I already called Namjoon and he already sent people to find him. So don't worry..."

Y/N clutched her phone tightly and nodded: "Okay."

After a few days, Namjoon finally got news about Jimin. After Taehyung heard about this, he didn't know if he should tell Y/N or not. He was thinking about it for the whole night until he decided to tell her.

He went to the Song residence and they were sitting in the living room. Shin Ji left the space for both of them to talk.

"How is it? Is there any news?" Y/N was impatient.

"You need to be calm..."

When she heard this, she knew that something was wrong. Her face dropped and turned pale but no matter what, she needed to know. She was thinking if Jimin and Joon Min were in trouble, she would not let Taemin go even though she would fall down with him.

Even if she would die with him.

"Namjoon already tracked him and it turned out that Jimin went to Thailand. There was a violent gun fight in a department store a few days ago in Bangkok. The store exploded, perhaps he was inside..." He paused. "Perhaps he wasn't there. There were a lot of Korean tourists so it was hard to record the dead people."

"We still don't know if Jimin and Joonie are dead so Y/N..."

Before he could finish his words, Y/N raised her head to look at him. Her eyes were red: "But if he is okay then why didn't they contact us? Jimin is not that kind of person..." She was in terrible despair: "What do you think?"

Of course, Taehyung was worried too because indeed Jimin was not that kind of person. He must be in trouble but he still couldn't be so sure about it. Whether he was in that accident or not. Or was he in another kind of trouble?

Namjoon's man found out that Jimin was in Bangkok and a day after he arrived, that accident happened. So Namjoon concluded that it might be connected.

That night, Joon Min said they were going to leave somewhere else. She hadn't heard anything about them anymore.

They both seemed to completely disappear from her life.

With just a blink of the eyes, two years passed.

These two years, Y/N kept dreaming about Jimin and Joon Min. After a period of time, Y/N was really worried that she couldn't see them even in her dreams. She thought, she started to forget about how they look and how they sounded.

Two months after their disappearance, Y/N accompanied Krystal to go to Japan to have medical treatment. That night, she stood on the window of their hotel and watched the fireworks. She was distracted until she remembered that today was Valentine's Day.

Y/N recalled what happened last year on this day. Jimin brought her here to celebrate Valentine's Day. She couldn't control herself then left the hotel. She took the train to Shibuya, she also went to the cinema they used to visit. She passed by the streets they passed last year. She went to the night market and stared at all of the food stalls, she remembered she was pregnant. She went to the stall where they bought flowers for each other.

She bought herself flowers and held it right. She kept walking until she was walking on a quiet alley. Suddenly a man stopped her, trying to rob her. When the man tried to snatch her bag, a tall man appeared behind her.

He stopped the man in no time and passed her bag back to her. "Thank you..."

"Mr Park asked me to look after you."

He also sent her back to her hotel.

When she closed the door, Y/N knelt down on the floor and cried loudly. She never knew that even when Jimin left but he still took care of her and protected her.

For most people, two years felt like nothing but to Y/N it was almost impossible to live her life.

She had been living in Song residence while Jungkook went abroad to treat his legs for a year. When he came back, he could finally stand and walk, even though he perhaps couldn't be exactly like he was before the accident.

Krystal also recovered from her addiction and now they reopened their dancing studio. She tried to get a divorce from Taemin but he rejected her request. She tried so many times to bring a lawsuit for divorce but it got denied. Of course she knew it was Taemin's doing as he had a huge power. It was impossible for Krystal to attack him.

Luckily, he never appeared in front of her. She was upset that she couldn't divorce him but at least she didn't need to see him. She just kept convincing herself that she was no longer his wife.

She also went to have surgery to remove the scar on her face. At first she didn't want to but she needed her face because of her work. Before the surgery she was thinking of having a full face plastic surgery so she didn't look like Taemin's past lover anymore, but she hated pain. She had a very low pain tolerance.

This morning, Y/N woke up and went to the window. She noticed the fall season had faded away and the winter was coming. It was the second winter without Jimin and Joon Min. Her room was facing the garden and there was this old tree, the last leaf on that tree had fallen out.

Shin Ji was cleaning and sweeping the leaves. She also planted a lot of plants inside her greenhouse. She changed a lot in these two years. Her life was only about Jun Seo before, but now he was not in her heart anymore. She is happy now.

Jun Seo had been sentenced for four years and it had been two years already. He still had two years to go. Shin Ji gave him a visit every week, in the past she would look bitter as she wanted to look for a way to get him out. But now, she understood that he needed to depend on himself. Perhaps if he could perform well and really change, his sentence will be reduced.

Shin Ji realized that she couldn't do anything about it, so she just tried to live her life to the fullest. Probably when someone has a clear mind, everything just turns simpler.

Y/N watched her mother being busy and smiled.
