Grandma could only stare at him in disbelief. "Is it true?"

Taemin chuckled: "What do you think? Don't you know in your heart?"

"Lee Taemin!" Grandma screamed and pointed at him. "It was you?"

"Yes." Taemin admitted calmly, he nodded. "It's all me. Do you have any idea how long I have been planning this?"

Grandma glared at him: "Why?"

"Why?" Taemin laughed. "Don't play pretend, you know exactly why I do this! All this time, are you living your life peacefully? When you sleep at night, have you ever dreamt about my parents? Have you ever dreamt about her?"

He continued: "But you are a heartless person, you probably have no feelings. My mother was your own daughter, but you killed her! All these years you lived comfortably, do you know how vicious you are?"

Grandma was startled, she couldn't believe what she just heard: "All this time you think that I killed your parents?"

"After all these years, you still want to act in front of me? Just stop! If you didn't let the Lee family go bankrupt, my parents would still be here. But even with all that, you and your hypocrisy took me in and raised me. Do you think I will thank you for that?" He spat.

"I dreamt about my parents every night in my sleep. Everyday I think of ways to give them fairness and to take everything that's mine." He continued: "Do you remember Yoona? You were against me and her being together and led her to kill herself!"

"What happened to your parents was a tragedy but it had nothing to do with the Park family!"

"How was it not related?" Taemin cut her off: "You did nothing to help us. It was fortunate that we were able to get offered a massive project to avoid bankruptcy but what did the Park family do? You all kept determined to take over the project! Now you're telling me it was not related? Are you kidding?"

Grandma was beyond furious, she couldn't endure the accusation anymore. Her heart was hurting, she put her hand on her chest. "Your grandfather and I did that to help your family. It was only your parents' wishful thinking to see that project as a shield to avoid bankruptcy. It was a trap!"

"Enough!" Taemin cut her off. "What's the point of quibbling right now? Do you think I will believe you?"

"Lee Taemin, you really are a disappointment. How could you have no remorse for the things you do? I did my best to raise you but all you gave me was a heartache." She paused. "Do you think that girl loved you? Perhaps her death was related to me but it was because of her own actions. You had no idea what she was like! She only pretended in front of you while in reality..."

"I said enough!" Taemin hit the bedside table. "She's already dead for years but you still try to slander her!"

He took a deep breath."Do you know how much I hate you? How much do I hate the entire Park family? What I hate the most is that I can't kill all of you, I won't let any of you live a good life!"

Grandma turned her face to see him. "Was it you who killed Y/N's baby? You wanted to kill Joonie? Did you manipulate the DNA test?"

Taemin smiled. "Yes. It's all me and Jeon Wonwoo. He does it to take Jeon Jungkook down and I do it to bring the Park family down."

"Lee Taemin, I am really blind." Grandma grabbed his collar. "I didn't notice I was raising a wolf!"

But he was still smiling, there was no trace of remorse on his face. "Well it's too late for that."

She was still clutching his collar then she grabbed the mug on the table and hit his forehead. In a flash, blood ran out from his forehead. "Lee Taemin, you are an ingrate, I will do everything to stop you!"

"Let's just see if you can do that." He said. "Let go."

Grandma was still not letting him go. He pushed her hands away but she fell and her head hit the bedside table then the blood started streaming down.

Taemin coldly stood there watching her until he took his handkerchief to wipe the little blood on his forehead. He went to the restroom to wash the blood then put the paper inside his pocket. Before he left, he even cleaned the glass that Grandma used to hit him.

"Have you sent her away?" He called his assistant as he was responsible for sending Krystal abroad.

Since the beginning, he already expected her to disobey him. He knew after she failed to pass the letter through the doctor, she would definitely look for another way. He thought if she stayed in Seoul, she definitely would find a way to tell them. It was too risky, so he decided to send her abroad.

He commanded his assistant to take her to the airport but he didn't expect her to call Y/N. When Y/N called, he was on his way to the hospital. Fortunately for him, he managed to deceive Y/N.

Not long after that, the nurse gave him a call to inform him that she found a piece of paper inside Grandma's room. Even though she didn't know what it said on the paper, she thought it was strange. Taemin personally asked the nurse to give him a call if anything strange happened.

He rushed inside and found Grandma was holding the paper.

Y/N finally arrived at the airport, she tried calling the number but it was still off. After looking around the airport, she still couldn't find Krystal. She tried to call Taemin but he didn't answer so she decided to go to their house.

She pressed the bell but no one opened the door. It was getting weirder, she could feel something was off about the whole thing. She tried calling Taemin's number and thankfully, this time he answered. "Taemin Oppa, how is Krystal?"

Taemin was silent for a moment before saying: "She's okay, she's at home. Don't worry about her."

"At home?"

Y/N was in front of their house, but nobody was home. She couldn't help but to feel suspicious, how could he be this calm? If something happened to Krystal, he wouldn't be this calm. She was getting anxious. "But she called me saying she was in the airport."

"She's probably just messing with you, she is home." He chuckled. "I am still at work, let's talk later okay? I will bring Krystal." He said before he hung up.

Krystal was not a person who would joke like this. Moreover, her tone was frantic. How could it be a joke? Now suddenly he said she was already at home?

She walked back to her car remembering what Grandma said about something off about Krystal and Taemin. Her injury, her explanation was too far-fetched. She had bad feelings about this.

Her phone rang, it startled her. She stared at the number and answered it: "Hello?"

"Mrs Park? This is the hospital, we couldn't reach Mr Park's number. Madame Park was in an accident, please come to the hospital immediately. Her condition is critical."

She immediately started her car and started driving to the hospital. "What happened?"

"Madame Park's maid entered the room and saw her lying on the floor in full blood."

After she hung up, she tried calling Taehyung since she thought Jimin would be with him but Taehyung didn't know where Jimin was. He noticed her anxious tone: "What happened?"

"Grandma had an accident. Can you please look for Jimin?" Y/N asked.

"Okay."

When she arrived at the hospital, she rushed straight to the surgery room. Grandma was still undergoing surgery.

"Where is Jimin?" Jin asked.

Y/N shook her head: "I can't contact him. He was in a fight with Dad and he left. I don't know where he is."

Jimin was not someone without norms, his phone must have fallen down somewhere.

"Madame Park's condition is not promising." Jin said.

Y/N covered her face: "What was happening?"

"I went to the Park residence after Madame Park asked me to take Mr Park's clothes, but when I returned, she was on the floor. She lost a lot of blood."

"We already called the cops." Jin said.

Supposedly because right now the maid was the main witness, they kept watching her.

After a while the police finally came and they lifted a plastic bag. "Mrs Park, is this Park Jimin's phone?"

Y/N was startled and stared at the phone, she finally understood why nobody could reach him. He left his phone inside the room, perhaps when he was fighting with his father. But noticing the whole thing, she felt it was strange that they brought it up so she kept silent.

The police asked again: "Mrs Park, do you know where Park Jimin is now? Can you contact him?"

But the surgery room opened, she walked past the police to the doctor: "Doctor, how is my grandma?"

The doctor's face was serious, he put down his mask and shook his head. "I am sorry, she passed away."

Y/N felt she heard it wrong, she was confused. "What did you say?"

"I am sorry, Mrs Park."

Y/N knew she heard it right the first time, but how could she accept it? She couldn't breath, she couldn't even cry as she was in a full shock.

How did this happen? Where is Park Jimin?

She heard a sound and noticed Jimin stood not far from her but he was held by two policemen but he was resisting.

"Let me go!" Jimin tried to break free. When he freed himself, he ran inside the surgery room.

Jimin stared at Grandma's body on the bed. She was covered by a plain white cloth. When he was about to pull it, the police held his hands. He was still struggling but then they cuffed him. "Park Jimin, please cooperate with our investigation, bring him now!"

"Jimin!" Y/N couldn't believe what was happening. She could only hear his lament sound then she also ran toward the surgery door.

The policemen were holding him towards the door. His eyes were red and kept looking back at the bed.

Y/N chased after him and watched him being brought inside the police car. She ran over: "What is happening?"

"Mrs Park, we are doing an investigation on Mr Park but he is not cooperating. We're sorry to do it this way." The police explained.

"Are you suspecting him? He is her grandson!" Y/N was choking with sobs. But the policeman already got inside the car and left.

When Y/N was about to chase them, Jin stopped her. "Y/N, there's no use chasing them."

She recalled everything. Jimin definitely found out about this from Taehyung so he rushed here but he didn't expect that the police were waiting for him. Then they thought Jimin didn't want to cooperate so they used force to investigate him.

"They thought it was Jimin." Y/N rubbed her eyes.

Jin nodded. "It seems that the police made Jimin as a suspect, so they brought him to do investigations." He looked at Y/N. "Go inside, it's cold. I will contact the lawyer."

Y/N went back inside and walked toward Grandma. She gripped her hands, even though it was still slightly warm but she was already gone.

"Grandma..." Y/N couldn't hold her emotions anymore.

She put Grandma's hands on her forehead and she let her tears stream down her face. She couldn't believe that Grandma would be gone just like this. She kept thinking how this could all happen.

Jin walked inside and put his hand on her shoulder. He didn't know what to say. "I just contacted his lawyer. He is in the police station but he is unable to meet Jimin yet."

Y/N wiped her tears: "Jin, I just realized something. It turns out that we were always kept in the dark. We couldn't see it because it was someone close to us."
