Everyone was looking intensely at Taemin. Y/N's heart was beating hard, she put her hand on her chest.

Taemin was scanning at the paper, he flipped the pages until the last one. His brows darkened as his expression changed.

"What is it, Manager Lee? Read it for us please."

He ignored them and gave the result paper to Grandma. She grabbed her glasses to check the result. Her face dropped when she read the last page. "Impossible!" She raised her head to gaze at Taemin, who was still as shocked as her. "Is this real?"

"Grandma, everyone was there. I also went there to take this result along with Director Han."

"Impossible! It's clearly Jimin, he is..." Grandma turned her head to look at Joo Hyuk.

Joo Hyuk took the report and flipped it to the last page. He gazed at Jimin and fell to his seat. "Ae Ra, you are a liar! You lied to me all these years..."

Looking at their expression and response, everyone came forward to see the report. "Madame Park, how is the result? We need to show it to everyone." Park Jae Kyung said.

Grandma was speechless and passed the report to him. He looked at it and smiled, then he put it on the projector. It started a commotion in the meeting room.

"This is the result of the DNA test. Park Jimin and Director Park are unrelated." Park Jae Kyung announced.

Director Han gazed at Grandma. "Madame Park, what is your explanation for this? He is not your grandson, so you have no right to pass the company to him!"

"Director Han is right." Park Jae Kyung's tone was stern. "We are a family company. Only our family members can be the President of the company!"

When Na Ae Ra gave birth to Jimin, Joo Hyuk took him home without doing any examination. There was no doubt in his heart, he believed that she gave birth to his son.

"Madame Park, you need to give us a clear explanation. Based on this result, Park Jimin is not your grandson. Shouldn't you do anything about it?" One of the shareholders said.

Grandma was trying to stand up, Y/N helped her and let her hold her arm. "Everyone, hear me out..." Her body was swaying.

"Park Jimin is not qualified to be the president of the company! He is not a member of our family, he has no Park blood in him!"

Everyone was emotional and aggressive. It seemed like they really wanted to kick Jimin off his position. They were selfish. Without thinking about all of her sacrifices, they just attacked her and demanded her explanations. They only cared about themselves.

"Directors, let's calm ourselves. This may not be a valid proof. Moreover, Jimin has been working very hard for Park company. We wouldn't be at this level if it wasn't for him." Taemin tried to convince them.

Before he could finish, he was stopped by Park Jae Kyung. "What do you mean? This DNA test is credible proof but you still want to quibble? We acknowledge his hard work for our company, but that is the point? We can't accept someone who is unrelated to us handling the company. Who knows, he could be planning to take the Park company already..."

"If that's the case, then the DNA result will say otherwise, don't you think?" Jimin said coldly.

He ignored Jimin and gazed at Grandma. "Madame Park, please take the responsibility."

Grandma, who was perplexed by the situation, fainted. "Grandma!" Y/N screamed and held her arms. It was a pity that Y/N was startled and not strong enough to support her. They both fell to the floor.

Jimin hurriedly carried Grandma and took her outside while Y/N followed him behind. They both immediately took her to the hospital.

The doctor was inside to examine her while all the directors along with Jimin and Y/N were outside in the corridor, waiting for the result. Taemin finally opened the door and came outside.

"Manager Lee, how is she?"

"She is being examined now. Directors, you can go home and rest for now. I believe she will give you answers as soon as she's recovered. She always makes a clear distinction between the public and the private. Moreover, she is not getting any younger, her health is not the best. We don't know when she will wake up so let's just let her rest." Taemin said.

Park Jae Kyung turned his body to discuss it with the other directors. They understood that it was ineffective to just stand there, waiting for the uncertainty. So they chose to compromise. "Then we will go home first. Manager Lee, please take good care of Madame Park."

"I will. Thank you for your understanding." Taemin stared at Jimin and Y/N, sending an apologetic gaze then went inside.

After the directors went home, Taemin opened the door to let Jimin and Y/N inside. The doctor stared at them and said: "Madame Park just had a panic attack so she fainted. Just let her rest and she'll be okay. There's nothing to worry about."

They all felt relieved. "Thank you, Doctor." Y/N sent the doctor out.

Taemin's phone rang, he went outside to answer it. When he returned he bid goodbye to them. "Jimin, Y/N, please take care of Grandma. Krystal is not feeling well, I will go to check on her now. If something happens, you can call me."

"Okay, Oppa. You can go home now." Y/N said.

There were only four of them inside the room now. Grandma was still unconscious while Joo Hyuk was sitting on the sofa, clearly thinking about something deeply. His expression was full of sorrow. It seemed that the news was a major attack on him. His beloved woman was deceiving him.

Y/N watched the father and son. She didn't know what to do.

Joo Hyuk loved Ae Ra and now knowing that she lied to him, supposedly he wouldn't be able to forgive Ae Ra. She thought about how he constantly went to Busan for her all these years, she couldn't imagine how Joo Hyuk was feeling at this moment.

Jimin was standing by the window, he was also silent the whole time.

Hearing a sound from Grandma, Y/N immediately shifted her gaze. She was awake.

Jimin took the pillow and placed it on Grandma's back and helped her sit. But he didn't say anything.

Y/N poured her a glass of water and passed it to her. "Grandma, how do you feel?"

"I'm okay." Grandma sipped on her water and placed it on the table. "I couldn't imagine the chaos right now if I didn't faint."

Grandma gazed at Jimin and then turned her gaze at Joo Hyuk. "What happened that year when Jimin was born?"

"What happened?" Joo Hyuk chuckled coldly in a mocking manner. "Na Ae Ra lied to me. Now I finally understand why she was persistent to leave me, it turned out that she was pregnant with another man's child. I bet she wanted to run away with that man. I was only a fool, I rushed to her like a mad man. I thought the baby was mine, but the truth is she lied. She deceived us all these years."

Jimin punched him in the face before he could finish his words. His eyes were resentful. Y/N hurriedly tried to stop him by grabbing his arm. "Jimin, stop."

"How could you say something like that about her? Don't you love her? You always went to Busan to be with her, but it turns out that your love is shallow? Is she that kind of woman in your eyes?" Jimin spat while pointing at him.

He hit him hard, Joo Hyuk's face was bleeding. "Right, I just realized that I loved the wrong person. Ae Ra is not worthy of my love!" He coughed.

Jimin was about to hit him again but Y/N hugged him.

Grandma also yelled: "Stop it, both of you!"

Y/N put her hands on his waist. 'Jimin, please calm down. Let's talk with our presence of mind."

But Joo Hyuk was already at the door and he left.

Grandma started coughing, their attention finally shifted toward her. Y/N loosen up her grip and went to her side. She patted her back lightly. "Grandma, do we need to call the doctor?"

"No need," Grandma drank the water which was passed by Jimin. "I already thought about this matter. I knew that there was a hole in this, it's too bizarre. It was already strange enough when the rumor started, then they barged in demanding for Jimin's identity and asked us to do a DNA test."

"I think it is not that simple." Grandma added.

Y/N nodded. "Grandma, what should we do with Dad?" She asked.

Grandma sighed. "He really loves Ae Ra. Loving someone too much could easily deceive him."

"Grandma, aren't you afraid that I might not be your grandson?" Jimin asked, his voice was hoarse.

"I do." Grandma replied. "How could I not? You are my greatest hope." She couldn't say anything more toward this matter.

The doctor came inside to check on her. After she was asleep, Y/N went to look for Jimin who was left before. It was already dark outside, she tried calling his phone but it was off. She looked for him around the hospital until she found him.

He was sitting and smoking his cigarette on the bench under the tree. Even though he was quite far from her, she could sense his loneliness.

She went over and took the cigarette from his grip and took a seat beside him. She stared at the cigarette and said: "Is it good? Why is everyone like this so much?"

She put it between her lips and smoked. Because it was her first time, she coughed. Even her tears fell down.

Jimin took it from her and threw it away. He patted her back. "Are you okay?"

Y/N wiped her tears and waved her hand. "I'm okay."

"What were you doing?"

"I wanted to taste it." Y/N replied.

Jimin raised his eyebrow. "So, how was it?"

"I don't understand why people like to smoke." Y/N held his hand. "I see many people enjoy smoking, are you addicted to it?"

Jimin smiled. "For me, there's only one thing I'm addicted to."

Y/N gazed at him, curious of his answer. "What is it?"

"You." Jimin turned his head to look at her.

She furrowed her eyebrows at him. "I'm not a thing."

Jimin only smiled but didn't say anything.

"The doctor came to check on Grandma before, she is okay. She is sleeping now." Y/N told him.

He nodded and was still silent.

"Regarding today's matter, Grandma said she will investigate it." Y/N was still holding his hand and leaned on his shoulder. "You're definitely a Park."

Jimin was staring straight ahead, looking at nothing in particular. "I'm not so sure about it myself, how could you be certain?" His voice was deep and hoarse.

Y/N turned her head to look at him. She clutched his cheek toward her face and kissed it. "I believe your mom also loved your dad."

Jimin turned his head to her. "But even dad doesn't believe her."

She recalled the scene inside the room earlier. "He was taken aback of this news. Just like Grandma said, when you love someone too much, you'll be easily deceived."

Jimin stayed silent for a long time until he said: "Remember when I asked you about what if one day I lose everything, would you stay with me? I never expected that this day would happen."

Y/N frowned. "Nonsense. It has not been proven yet, Grandma also said that we need to investigate this matter. I believe someone fabricated the test result."

"What if I am really not a part of the Park family?"

"No." Y/N hugged him. "Even if you weren't, you still have me. No matter what happens, Joonie and I will be by your side."
