All she knew was that this project was a massive and important project. It would lead to a problem for the Park company if unexpected things happened.

The time she passed the study room, she slowed her steps and looked at the door. It wasn't fully closed, however, the maids didn't dare to pass by without permission. Y/N could hear Grandma's voice saying: "Now that we lost this project, there will be a negative impact on our company. We may not be able to explain this to them."

"Grandma, this is my fault. I didn't handle it properly." Taemin replied.

Grandma sighed. "How can I blame you? You already tried with your greatest effort. Everyone should take responsibility for this."

Taemin was Grandma favorite grandchild, she couldn't possibly get mad at him. Even though she knew that Taemin was also great at business but he was not as excellent as Jimin.

Y/N didn't hear anything from Jimin, she just directly went to her room. Her guess was true after all, no wonder it was real quiet in the house tonight.

Even though it was unavoidable, the broad director would not have the same perspective. They definitely would like someone to take the blame. Since Jimin had already taken over all of the Park company business, he should be responsible for this project.

This project was happening at a very crucial time. Joon Min just went under a big surgery, Jimin couldn't leave him. But they didn't expect that this project would go down hills.

Y/N sat on the sofa, thinking about this matter. The time she heard that the door was opened, she raised her head and gazed at him.

Jimin didn't expect her to be home, he was startled. "I thought you were at the hospital. Is there something you want to take? You should've just called me, I will bring it to you."

She didn't answer and just stood up from the sofa and went toward him. "I heard what you guys discussed in the study earlier. You lost the project?"

Jimin let out a heavy breath and nodded. He started undoing his tie but Y/N grabbed the tie and helped him take it off. "Then what will happen? Do we still have a chance?"

"No, it's impossible now. They had signed the deal." Jimin let out a frustrated huff.

Y/N was startled. "How can it be that quick?"

"It's okay. I will handle it." Jimin smiled. "Go wash up and I will take you to the hospital."

Y/N shook her head. "You don't need to go. Just sleep at home tonight, Auntie Wang and I will take care of Joon Min. There are also still a lot of people taking care of him."

She knew that he definitely would have a meeting with the broad directors to give them explanations.

He always went to the hospital after work. He didn't have a good sleep, Y/N could lay on the sofa to sleep but he could only sit on the smaller sofa to sleep. How could he be prepared tomorrow if he didn't have a good sleep?

Jimin didn't argue with her as he knew it was for the best. He nodded. "Okay, let me just drive you there then."

But Y/N felt it was too troublesome for him to go back and forth. She shook her head. "No, it's okay. I can drive by myself."

"No." Jimin's voice grew stern. "I can't let you drive this late."

In the end, Y/N could only obey him. She went to the bathroom and tidied up her things to bring to the hospital then Jimin drove her there.

The next morning, Doctor Min came for the daily check up on Joon Min as usual. He said that his recovery was good, he only needed several more days to stay and be monitored.

Upon hearing what Doctor Min was saying, Joon Min's face turned bright. He even smiled. Perhaps because he would leave the hospital soon, he hated to stay here.

After this, he could live his life the same way as the other kids. He could eat any food he wanted to eat. He could also go back to school.

Today, Jisoo brought Sa Rang to the hospital to visit him. She also heard what Doctor Min said, she pulled Joon Min's hand happily. "That's great! Joonie, did you hear it? You can leave the hospital soon, you will return to school. Let's be a chairmate, okay?"

"No, I don't want to." Joon Min frowned.

"Why? Why don't you want to sit with me?" Sa Rang already used to his cold attitude and she would force him to sit with her whatever it takes.

"Sa Rang-ah, what are you doing? Get off, don't disturb Joonie." Jisoo said as Sa Rang tried to get on Joon Min's bed.

"I want to talk face to face with Joonie. Why won't he sit with me?" She sulked.

"Sa Rang!" Jisoo widened her eyes at Sa Rang.

Y/N smiled. "It's okay." She carried Sa Rang up and placed her on his bed.

"Joonie, my dad and my grandma have come back, they live with me now. When you recover, come to my house. I will introduce you to them." Sa Rang said.

There was no information about Sa Rang's father, nobody knew who he was. But now Sa Rang said he was back. Y/N startled and turned her gaze at Jisoo. "Sa Rang's father is back?"

Jisoo smiled, but Y/N noticed the smile looked unnatural. She only nodded but didn't elaborate.

Sa Rang held Joon Min's hand, and she kept on talking. Even though Joon Min was frowning, he didn't stop her either. Grandma who was sitting on the sofa staring at the two kids. Their behavior made her smile. Jisoo felt a bit embarrassed as Sa Rang was really a chatty little girl, especially in front of someone she liked.

"I'm sorry, Madame Park. This little girl is too noisy."

Grandma waved her hand at her. "I like her, what is the point of being quiet?" She smiled.

Sa Rang frowned and said: "Mom thinks I'm too noisy, especially Dad. Every time I say something in front of him, he always asks me to go away."

Her words made everyone laugh.

Jisoo and Sa Rang didn't stay for lunch. Her phone rang and Y/N was standing near her so she could slightly hear their conversation. It was a man and he seemed unhappy, but Y/N couldn't tell who it was. She could only guess that it was Sa Rang's father. After the call, she carried Sa Rang and said: "Madame Park, Y/N, Joonie, we're going home. We're going to visit again soon."

Not long after that, Jimin also came to the hospital. Y/N didn't ask him about the meeting as she thought that he would tell her if he wanted to. He and grandma went outside, supposedly to talk. But the time they both returned to Joon Min's room, their expressions were unhappy.

Y/N put the food in front of Jimin. "You haven't had your lunch, right?" She already asked Auntie Wang to bring his lunch as she knew he was busy and he most likely forgot to eat his lunch.

Jimin smiled. "Just in time, I'm hungry."

She opened the lunch box and gave him the chopsticks. "No matter how busy you are, remember to eat your lunch."

"Okay." Jimin quietly ate his lunch.

Y/N went to Joon Min's bed and read him a story while Grandma sat on the sofa. The atmosphere was quite good until there was a knock. Y/N thought it was Doctor Min who came to check on Joon Min but when she opened the door, there were a few people of various ages. She had met a few of them on important occasions, they were the family of the collateral branch of the Park company.

The first one who came inside was a man around Park Joo Hyuk's age. Y/N knew him, he was Park Jae Kyung. His father and Joo Hyuk's father were brothers, so he was Joo Hyuk's cousin. He also brought people with him.

"Madame Park, we come here to visit our little master, how is his current condition?"

"He is okay. Thank you for your concern." Grandma didn't consider their visit as a simple matter. Joon Min had undergone a major surgery several days ago and they didn't come to visit.

"Then it's good to hear." Park Jae Kyung smiled. But Grandma knew that his smile wasn't genuine. "We were extremely worried about him."

"Jae Kyung, if you have something to say then just say it." Grandma said with a stern voice. She didn't like when someone talked in a roundabout manner.

He smiled and pointed at the people behind him. "We're here to visit our little master and we also want to confirm something, I hope you can give us an explanation."

Before he could finish his words, the other man said: "I heard that President Park is not the grandson of the family." It was one of the directors of the Park company, Director Han.

"Nonsense!" Grandma hit the floor with her stick. Even though she was old, she was still strong. Her eyes were sharp, staring at them. Everybody turned their gaze, avoiding her intense and intimidating stare.

"I-I..." Director Han shuttered. He couldn't elaborate.

Park Jae Kyung came forward and said: "He didn't mean to offend anyone, Madame Park, President Park. It's just a rumor that made us doubt, that was the reason we're here. I hope you don't take it the wrong way."

But Grandma's expression was still serious. "You shouldn't accuse something based on rumor. I am questioning your integrity, you should take responsibility for your words."

Park Jae Kyung hurriedly waved his hands. "Indeed, but we need proof to deny this rumor. We also don't want any ongoing issues that may occur in the future."

"Let's have a meeting in the Park residence for now. You're disturbing my great-grandson!" She pointed at the butler to escort them out.

Y/N was still stiff after that shocking moment. She could sense that this was not that simple. How could they barge here and demand for proof?

Jimin stood up, preparing to leave. Y/N pulled his arms. "I'm going with you."

He turned his body to look at her. "Just stay here and take care of Joonie."

"Auntie Wang is here, it will be okay. I want to be there with you." She held his hand, insisting to accompany him.

Jimin knew she was nervous and worried about him. He didn't refuse her request and took her hand to leave.

When they arrived home, everyone was already there in the living room. Noticing that Jimin was there, they stood up and bowed at him. He nodded and held Y/N's hand to also sit on the sofa in the living room.

Grandma turned her head to stare at those people in front of her. "Let's proceed." She said, "What is the rumor?"

"Two days ago, we found out that President Park is not Choi Neon Yun's son." Park Jae Kyung started to explain.

"Then you conclude that Jimin is not the Park family descendant?" 

"She is Joo Hyuk's wife after all." Jae Kyung replied.

Joo Hyuk who was also present said: "I divorced her a long time ago."

After hearing the shocking news, everyone was looking at each other and started discussing it. "What happened?" They didn't even know the reason for her being in jail.

"My apologies for hiding it from everyone. That was a disgrace for our family, we keep it private." Grandma cleared her throat. "But since it created a scandal, I won't hide it any more. Park Jimin is not Choi Neon Yun's son. He is Joo Hyuk's son with another woman but she died of childbirth and Neon Yun took care of him. We hid it to prevent scandal for the family."

"Oh I see." Director Han siad. "You shouldn't hide it from us."

Grandma glared at him. "It's our own family matter!"

"Indeed it was a family private matter." Park Jae Kyung said. "But Jimin's identity is the most important thing as he is a successor of the company. Our Park company is a family company. No matter what, it should be handed over to our blood."

"Are you doubting my identity?" Jimin who was quiet the whole time finally said.

"We don't mean it that way." Jae Kyung smiled. "It would be wise to put the rumors down as we give them solid proof."

"What do you mean by proof?" Jimin asked, raising his eyebrow.

"You demand for a DNA examination. After the result is out, there will be no rumor. It could also shut everyone who doubted your identity." One of the directors said.

Jimin narrowed his eyes and said: "Okay."

"Then we hope this could solve this problem." Jae Kyung and all the broad directors of the Park company left.

"Who started this rumor?" Grandma angrily asked.

Jimin was calm. "If the DNA test could shut them up, it's nothing."

"There have been a lot of problems recently. I hope after this, our family can be at ease." Grandma sighed. "What about Neon Yun and Seulgi, what is their condition now?"

"I let Seulgi leave after she helped us find the culprit, but I still have people to watch her." Jimin said.

"I already have people to watch over Neon Yun, Mom. Don't worry, she doesn't have anyone to back her up. There's nothing she can do." Joo Hyuk said.
