These past few days Jimin was really busy, he went back and forth from one city to another. Y/N knew even though he was busy for a business trip but he actually also went to check his own identity. He never went away for that long, he would be away for two nights at most.

But this time he left for four days, Y/N knew he probably already found out the truth.

Y/N knew he would be home tonight so she left a dim light for him. She felt her body being dragged into a warm hug, she wasn't really in a deep sleep so she opened her eyes and hugged him back. She put her palm on his face as she noticed the look in his eyes. "What happened?"

Jimin didn't say anything but grabbed her hand and gave a soft kiss then hugged her tightly while putting his head on her neck. Y/N put her hands on the back of his head and stroked his hair softly, comforting him.

After a while he broke the silence. "I found my biological mother." Y/N's hands were rigid. She knew by his statement that Neon Yun was not his mother.

Y/N leaned on his shoulder and said: "Then your mother, who is she?"

"Ae Ra. Because it happened decades ago, it was hard to check on the details. I need to ask my father. He was with her but she didn't have a good family background, my grandfather was still alive at that time. He was way more strict than Grandma, they were against their relationship, then she left."

Y/N looked him in the eyes. "Then where is she now?"

"She's dead..." Jimin was silent for a moment. "She's dead giving birth to me."

"When Neon Yun married my dad, I was already born. But they were way worse than they're now. It drove her to the limit then she had an affair with another man. She went to Canada to give birth to the child and brought her back and put her into an orphanage. Seulgi, she is Neon Yun's daughter. Then she was raised by her foster parents..."

Y/N thought, Joo Hyuk must love Jimin's mother very much, even after her death to this very moment, she is still inside his heart. Even Neon Yun couldn't replace her in his heart.

Y/N then held his hands. "Let's ask them tomorrow, okay? Even though they hide all of these from you, but now after you figure it out, I believe they won't try to hide it anymore."

After all, Jimin is already an adult now and he also knows the truth behind all these, it doesn't need to be concealed anymore.

Jimin nodded, then massaged his forehead. He looked so tired.

Y/N grabbed his chin to look him in the eyes. "Everything's going to be okay, Jimin." She smiled.

Her smile made him feel at ease. He pulled her into his embrace and kissed her forehead. "Of course it would. I have you by my side, and Joon Min and our little princess inside your belly." He said while stroking her stomach.

The next day.

Jimin and Y/N took the opportunity when Joo Hyuk was having tea. "Dad..."

Joo Hyuk didn't notice their appearance as he was looking at something else, but after they called him he looked ahead. "It's you guys, come and sit."

Jimin looked at the bracelet on his hand, noticing that Joo Hyuk slowly put it away in his pocket. Joo Hyuk looked at them. "Is there something wrong?"

"We just want to accompany you to drink your tea and talk, Dad." Y/N smiled.

"Okay." Joo Hyuk nodded and smiled at her.

Jimin was silent for a moment but then he started talking straightforwardly. "I had someone check on Seulgi's birth identity. She's Neon Yun's daughter. Since she knew about this, there's no way she would be so dedicated to get us to be together. So, this got me thinking and I went to check."

Joo Hyuk was listening carefully to Jimin. He actually already found out that Seulgi was indeed Neon Yun's daughter.

"Na Ae Ra, she was my biological mother, wasn't she?"

Joo Hyuk's face turned pale yet said nothing to decline. He was about to pour another tea into his cup but Y/N helped him. "Dad, Jimin is an adult and he already knows the truth. You shouldn't hide it from him anymore and she was his mother, he surely wants to know more about her."

Joo Hyuk sipped on his tea while considering it, thinking for quite awhile. But he finally looked at Jimin and Y/N. "Since you already checked it up, you must have found out that she's dead."

Jimin nodded.

Joo Hyuk started to talk: "Our family had a good relationship with Neon Yun's family and she is around my age. We went to school together so our parents arranged a marriage for us. But as I grew up I met Ae Ra and fell in love with her, my Ae Ra...I wanted to break the marriage off but my father had a strong opposition because of Ae Ra's family background."

Jimin already found out about this.

Ae Ra's father was an alcoholic and also a gambler. He was also a temperamental man and he would hit his wife. He used all of his family's wealth and lost all of their money. Ae Ra had to work, everyday was a nightmare for her until she met Joo Hyuk.

"Then Ae Ra left. But before she left, we were in an intense fight so I didn't look for her and also didn't receive any news from her. Then one day I finally heard about her, it was already a few months after the last time we saw each other." They could see a deep sorrow on Joo Hyuk's face.

Joo Hyuk looked at Jimin. "I rushed to the hospital, but when I arrived she was already gone." Joo Hyuk couldn't hold back his tears. Everyone stayed silent for a moment. The only sound in the room was Joo Hyuk's cry.

After a while, he continued. "When she passed away, I was in a very difficult situation. It felt like hell for me."

The hole inside his heart felt like it started bleeding, remembering the scene when he found Jimin's mother in that room, her body was cold and not breathing. He cried the life out of him on the hospital corridor, unable to accept the truth.

He never got to meet her before she passed away or saying goodbye. That was his biggest regret, he blamed himself; he should've been looking for her after their fight. If only he knew that day was going to be the last day he saw her, he wouldn't let her go. Nothing would ever be able to fill the hole she left.

"Because of my parents' urge, I finally married Neon Yun. I was cold towards her since I have no love for her. Then it seemed like she had an affair with another man..." There was no emotion when he said this like it was not his problem. "After that she gave birth. Mom also knew about this and she was in rage and wanted to kick her out of the family but then her mother came and begged. Her family helped our family in the past and also because of my attitude towards her, mom felt guilty then let her stay. She said that her baby's dead but now we know she was lying."

Because he didn't have Neon Yun inside his heart, so he didn't really care anything about her.

After silent the whole story, "So where is she now?" Jimin asked with his hoarse voice.

Joo Hyuk raised his head slowly, with sadness and pain he smiled: "She definitely would be happy if you two come to see her."

He paused and took a bracelet out from his pocket: "This was Ae Ra's."

Now Y/N understands the reason for Joo Hyuk's disappearance during Jimin's birthday, he went away to see Ae Ra.

The next day Jimin and Y/N took a forty five minute flight to Busan and stayed at Joo Hyuk's house there. So every year he visited her, he would stay at this house. Joo Hyuk's house was more secluded than others, supposedly because he likes to have his own privacy.

The house was decorated according to Ae Ra's preference. The vibes in the house felt warm and inviting. The wall was full of Jimin's photos; his baby photos until his recent photos. Supposedly, he framed it for Ae Ra to see.

In every corner of the house, there were fresh flowers. They were lilies. The time they got inside, they could smell the scent. Lily must be her favorite flower. The house was so clean and tidy because Joo Hyuk had someone to clean the house everyday.

The sky was clear but it was raining. Y/N took a shower, she felt refreshed. She noticed Jimin who was standing in front of the windows, watching the rain. She came over and hugged his waist. "Let's visit Mom later."

But Jimin shook his head. "It's raining, the road will be slippery." Visiting Ae Ra's grave definitely wouldn't be easy since it was on the top of the hill. It could be muddy.

Being here, Jimin definitely really wanted to see his mother, but it wasn't raining heavily. It should be stopped soon. "Let's visit her." She pointed at her luggage. "I have my rubber boots."

Jimin was convinced by her. After the afternoon nap, they went to her resting place. Because it was their first visit, they got kind of lost. They asked a few people on the road to get there. Y/N wore her raincoat and rubber boots and followed him behind. He held her hands tightly. He was scared that something might happen to her.

After a while they finally arrived. Y/N's hair and forehead were getting wet but she was okay, she wore a lot of layers, so she wasn't cold. Standing in front of her grave, Jimin used his hands to wipe the gravestone. Joo Hyuk had people take care of it, so it was really clean. 

On the grave were written a few words.
--My love, Na Ae Ra.

Y/N was so emotionally affected by these words, she shed a tear but quickly wiped it.
Jimin looked at the gravestone for quite a while, he put his hand on the gravestone. "Mom, I am Park Jimin, your son. I came here with my wife and our daughter inside to visit you."

Y/N looked at Jimin then to the gravestone and smiled: "Mom, we come to see you."

She thought Ae Ra must be waiting for this day for a long time. Finally she could see her son.

When they went down, Jimin did not say a word until they arrived back in the house. He stood in front of the window and contemplated. Y/N knew he was thinking about his mother so she didn't disturb him.

The next day after they went home, Y/N caught a cold so she had a fever. Grandma was worried and asked the doctor to come, she knew Jimin took her out but she didn't know they went to visit Ae Ra.

She scolded Jimin: "You clearly know that Y/N is pregnant and you still brought her with you. You really are a troublemaker!"

"Grandma..." Y/N said with a hoarse voice: "It wasn't his fault, it was me who wanted to go with him. I know he was sad, so I want to accompany him...."

Grandma was startled and looked at Jimin: "Where did you go?"

"Busan."

Her body went rigid and gazed at Jimin. Of course she knew that was where Joo Hyuk buried Ae Ra. Y/N also said that Jimin was sad. "What did you do there?"

"I came to visit my mother." Jimin said. There was a sound of breaking glass from the doorway.

Neon Yun stood there, the glass full of fruits were scattered on the floor. Her face was full of surprise and disbelief. So Jimin knew she was not his mother, so he definitely knew that Seulgi was her daughter then. Everyone saw her but ignored her because they were focused on Y/N.

Neon Yun just left without tidying up the fruits. She returned to her bedroom.

Joo Hyuk and her basically grew up together. Neon Yun was extremely happy to get to marry Joo Hyuk as she always liked him, a handsome tall man everyone adored. Plus he's the heir of Park Company, he was the most wanted bachelor and he was going to be hers. Grandma didn't hide the truth from her, about Joo Hyuk's past. So she kept on promising that she didn't care about his past and would take good care of him. She thought, Ae Ra's dead anyway, what could a dead girl do to her?

She thought by staying with him, he would eventually love her slowly. But she noticed that she was too naive because no matter what she did, he would never have her inside his heart. She started to lose grip of hope and desperately couldn't bear another man's seduction, so they had an extramarital affair. At first she thought of doing it to retaliate against Joo Hyuk to see whether he cared about her or not.

After she got pregnant, she was thinking she should pretend that it was Joo Hyuk's child but even though Joo Hyuk was so indifferent, he wasn't a fool and Grandma was a shrewd woman. How could the Park family be deceived? Sooner or later they would find out anyway and when it happened, she would be in a miserable situation. She was scared so she didn't think she could pull it off.

She thought about aborting the child but then discovered she already passed the trimester and if she was forced to abort it then it wouldn't be good for her health so she had no choice but to give birth to the baby. Luckily she was in a cold war with Joo Hyuk so she bluntly said that she wanted to stay aboard for a moment. She would stay at her aunt's place.

Then she gave birth there. But despite her effort to hide it, The Park family found out about it and Joo Hyuk went to Canada. But she had someone to bring the kid home and put her into the orphanage and told Joo Hyuk that the baby's dead. Perhaps, because Joo Hyuk didn't care about her so he just believed her.

There was a birthmark in Seulgi's body. In her elbow there was a small red leaf mark. That year when she met her and saw the mark, she secretly took her hair to check it, to make sure if she was really her daughter.

After she received the DNA result and saw Jimin and Seulgi were together, she was happy. She just wanted them to be together and make Seulgi marry Jimin and let her have a happy life. She owed it to her, helping them together was the best she could do to compensate her, she thought.

Everything was progressing in a good way but she didn't expect that out of nowhere, there was Y/N. Then under Grandma's intervention, unexpectedly Y/N married Jimin and robbed Seulgi's position.

So how could she not hate Y/N?

After knowing Jimin knew she was not his mother, she didn't feel at ease. She felt like soon, there would be no place for her in the Park family.
