Seulgi started walking to them, her assistant hurriedly grabbed her hand to help her but she didn't let her. She stood in front of Jimin and Y/N, stopping them from walking away.

"That accident had nothing to do with me." She said, implying to Y/N's accident.

Y/N noticed she was limping, supposedly the reason she was here because she hurt her leg. Jimin also noticed it.

Jimin flashed a censuring glance at her. "If you hurt your leg, you shouldn't walk around, bothering people." He didn't want to talk to her anymore, and left with Y/N.

Seulgi turned around and stood there watching them go. She felt a sting of pain inside her heart. "Are all men that ruthless?" She said in a low tone, almost whispering.

Her assistant next to her gazed at her, hesitantly saying "He is just being loyal to his wife."

The assistant was still young, she just graduated from university. Or perhaps she didn't really understand the complexity of love and feelings. She didn't have any bad intentions, she just felt that if a married man still thought of another woman, then that was the definition of ruthless.

And for a woman who wanted to be with a married man, that was also ruthless.

There was nothing wrong with Jimin wanting to be loyal to his wife. On the other hand, Seulgi was with him for five years, but she never had his heart. Now it looked like Y/N captivated his heart. She didn't really have anything to say about it. Even so, she also felt a bit sorry for Seulgi. She was with him for five years, it was such a waste of time.

But Jimin didn't love her. If he stayed with her only because he felt guilty, wouldn't that be more ruthless? It wasn't wrong for him to end their relationship as he didn't love Seulgi. Moreover, he was now in love with Y/N and wanted to be with her.

But Seulgi couldn't accept that after five years of her time and sacrifices for him, she would end up in this kind of situation. She persisted to be with him, longing for a chance to return to the past. But nobody could control other people's feelings, if they didn't love you that means they didn't love you. How could she try to bring Jimin back to her side?

So in her assistant's perspective, even though she didn't know for sure what happened between them, she thought Seulgi should let him go. He didn't love her, he loved someone else and they married. Whatever she did, it wouldn't change a thing. There was no reason for her to keep on holding on something that would only hurt her.

It was obvious Jimin really loved Y/N from how he looked at her and how he treated her and pampered her earlier.

"If he wants to be dedicated to Y/N. Then what about me?" Seulgi pointed at herself.

"But Miss Kim..." Her assistant swallowed her saliva, nervous of what she was going to say next. "You already broke up with him. I think you should give up."

Seulgi glared at her as soon as she said it. Her gaze was cold and scary. "So you think that I deserve this? Because I don't want to let go?"

She had never seen this side of Seulgi. She was scared of her glaring eyes. She took a step back and said: "I didn't mean it that way, Ms Kim. I just think that you can just let go of the past so you can live a better life"

"I am Kim Seulgi, I am not easily bullied by anyone!" She said and stormed off to her room. Her assistant was startled and stood there shivering.

A woman's heart full of envy and hatred was terrifying.

Ms Bae was waiting for her, she noticed Seulgi returned to the room alone. "Where were you? I heard Y/N is also staying at this hospital. Did you look for her?" She was worried that Seulgi was being emotional then looked for Y/N and made a scene.

Seulgi sat on the chair. "Do I look like a stupid person?"

No matter how angry she was, she wouldn't try to make a scene with Y/N. It wouldn't bring her any good, it could only make everything worse.

"Do you have a cigarette?" Seulgi stretched her hand to Ms Bae.

"I don't think you're in a good condition to smoke." Ms Bae knew that sometimes she smoked, but it was not a habit. She would smoke if she was anxious or in a bad mood. But Ms Bae was a heavy smoker so she always had cigarettes with her at all times.

Seulgi was desperate. "Just give me one." She simply said.

Ms Bae stared at her for a brief moment and gave up. She sighed and passed the cigarettes to her. "Just one." Seulgi took it and started smoking.

Since her debut, Ms Bae was always on her side as her manager. She was indeed considerate of her. "After this accident, I think Jimin will announce your separation."

Seulgi raised her eyebrow and gazed at her.

"I see that he is already persistent in not making any effort to help you. So we have to make a quick move to turn this over. If he announces it first, it won't be good for you. You should announce it first, people would finally let go since you broke up with him. Otherwise, the problem will just keep getting worse. It will be more difficult to overcome." Ms Bae said.

Seulgi put down her cigarette. "I already put this hard effort to make him stay and now you want me to announce our break up?"

"It's just a delaying tactic, we need to stabilize the situation for now. We can discuss our plans later." Ms Bae patted her shoulder. "Listen to me, I know you don't want to. But there are plenty of other men out there. There are a lot of men who would fall head over heels for you. Why should you hang on for him? If you want a backup in the entertainment industry, we can look for another, it doesn't have to be Park Jimin."

Seulgi stayed silent, taking it into deep consideration. It seemed like she had already forgotten the initial reason she was with Jimin in the first place. Perhaps indeed it was for a boost in her career but she fell for him.

She really loved Jimin, there was no doubt in it. But deep down, she knew that the reason she was unwilling to let go, mostly because she didn't want to lose. She couldn't accept that her long-term sacrifices to enter the Park family would go to waste. How could she give up on him and let him be with another woman?

"I will issue your separation statement on your SNS." Ms Bae smiled at her. "Seulgi-ah, not only Jimin who can help you succeed,"

What Ms Bae said was true, it was not only him that could help her. But she didn't want anyone else.

On the top floor of Park company.

After Jimin finished checking his work reports, Taehyung took the files but still stood there and didn't move. He wanted to say something but hesitating.

Feeling his presence, Jimin didn't raise his head. "If you have something to say, then say it."

"It's just..." Taehyung carefully arranged the words to say it. "This afternoon, Ms Kim's team already issued a statement."

"What statement?" He said, not breaking his gaze on the documents.

"It's regarding your separation with Ms Kim..." Taehyung added. "It said that she dumped you."

Jimin raised his head to look at him. "Just let her be."

He didn't care about the process, he just wanted the result. He thought it was good that now Seulgi could finally accept it and took initiative to announce their break up as he would do it anyway. He didn't want to be linked with her anymore.

Seulgi was a public figure, it was important to keep her reputation. As long as nobody would bother them anymore, it didn't matter who dumped who.

"Okay, President Park." He simply replied.

"If that's all, you could go now." Jimin waved his hand, ordering him to leave the room and shifted his attention back to his work so he could finish all those papers because he planned to take his wife and son out to eat. Then go shopping to decorate the baby's room.

At night, after Y/N took a quick shower. She sat down on the carpet with Joon Min to sort out all the things they just bought, most of them would be delivered tomorrow. Jimin bought a lot of things, rag dolls, a little rocking wooden horse, a big doll house, a tree bookshelf and all the princessy books, fluffy carpets, stuffed animals, toy blocks, tented baby crib, stollers, even baby clothes, baby daily necessities, feeding bottles. It was his first time shopping at the baby shop, it seemed like he wanted to buy everything he laid his eyes on.

As for Joon Min, Jimin didn't want him to feel neglected. He bought him all the toys, books, and video games that he wanted. All of them. Joon Min was so excited to open it one by one. He even refused Auntie Wang's help as he wanted to do it by himself.

Y/N couldn't help but to think that Jimin was really an impatient man. The baby was just a few months old, she wasn't even born yet but he already bought a lot of things. Luckily Y/N was there to stop him, she could barely convince him that they didn't need most of the things he picked, but at last she did. Otherwise, he would buy the whole store.

Her phone started to vibrate inside her pocket, she checked it and it was a message. There were a few pictures of her. It was a picture of Jungkook kissing her. It was kind of blurry but people could clearly see what happened in the picture.

Beside her, only Jungkook, Krystal, Jimin were on the scene. They wouldn't take a picture, who else was there?

The message was from Seulgi. Was she there too, following them? How could they not notice it then?

Jimin joined them after he took a shower. He smiled and stroked Joon Min's hair then sat beside Y/N. "What are you looking at?" He noticed she was focused on her phone. 

Hearing the man beside her, she finally came to her senses and passed the phone to Jimin.

Jimin took the phone and he could feel every muscle in his face tighten with the angered heat that started to build. Y/N noticed his annoyed face and asked: "How could she have this photo?"

He pulled his own phone and stood up. "Let me give her a call to ask."

Y/N nodded. She was puzzled why she could have that picture. What was she trying to do?

Jimin left the room and dialed her. Seulgi didn't seem surprised to get a call from him, she actually expected it. "You've seen the photo? Did you know they kissed? Are you nervous that I will publish it? If I did, Y/N would get attacked instead of me."

"You wouldn't." He simply said.

Seulgi chuckled at his words. "Why wouldn't I? You don't want me, you won't even help me anymore. Why shouldn't I publish this to let the public know about her sneaky little scandal?"

"You know what would happen to you if you publish it." He replied but did not elaborate. "What do you want?"

"I don't want anything." Seulgi was laughing, she sounded drunk. "I just want you to come over. If you come, I will give this photo to you. What do you think?"

Jimin narrowed his eyes. "Who gave you this photo?"

"I had someone follow her."

Of course Jimin wasn't convinced. "You don't have that ability. Who gave you this photo?" He asked again, daring her to challenge his stern tone

"Don't you have a great ability to check it by yourself? If you couldn't then you know where to find me and I will personally tell you?" She muttered. Seulgi was obviously drunk.

"Then keep waiting." Jimin hung up the phone, clearly didn't want to talk to her anymore.
