Loxy and Clarke walked side by side, leading the group together down the trail. "Why are you letting them come?" Wells muttered to Clarke under his breath. "They're dangerous criminals."

"Yeah, I'm counting on it." Clarke replied carelessly, quickening her pace to put distance between herself and Wells.

"I can see she's still not your biggest fan." Loxy commented, staring at the back of Clarke's blonde head. She looked behind them, watching Bellamy and Murphy walk in tow. "Something about this isn't right. Bellamy wouldn't have come unless it benefited himself." She pointed out, meeting Wells's worried expression.

"You're right. What do you think it is?" He asked, knowing she was pretty good at cracking hard cases.

Loxy bit her lower lip in thought, grabbing Wells's bare wrist. "The Ark thinks the 'prince' is dead," she murmured, dropping his arm. "Bellamy probably wants to make it seem as though the 'princess' is gone too."

"He's gonna try to take Clarke's wristband off!" Wells whisper yelled, growing defensive. He kept sending assertive glances behind him, looking harsh.

"Calm down, Wells. Clarke can take care of herself. And if not, she's got the two of us to back her up." Loxy reassured him, grabbing his arm and forcing him to quicken his pace.

Just as Wells finally began to relax, Bellamy rushed up to them with a confident look on his face. "Hold up a minute. What's the rush? You don't exactly survive a spear to the heart." Bellamy pointed out, waving his gun around wildly.

"Put the gun away, Bellamy," Loxy hissed, not turning to look him in the eye as she strode forward.

"Well why don't you do something about it, Red?" Murphy snarled before an evil smirk appeared on his face.

"Why don't you find your own nickname, Murphy?" Loxy snapped, shooting daggers at him.

"Just back off," Wells finally growled, halting in his tracks to spin around and face both of them.

"Jasper screamed when they struck him, Amy. That means they didn't get him in the heart, so we don't have much time to waste." Loxy said to Bellamy, ignoring the tension between Wells and Murphy right next to her.

"As soon as she takes off this wristband," Bellamy announced, grabbing Clarke's arm, "we can go."

Wells and Loxy exchanged glances. She was right. Bellamy wanted nothing more than to benefit himself by getting Clarke's wristband off.

Clarke bravely dodged his touch, glowering at him with fury. "The only way the Ark is going to think I'm dead, is if I'm dead." She spoke in a clear voice. "Got it?"

Bellamy shook his head with a weird smile on his lips. "Brave princess," he mocked her.

"Hey, why don't you find your own nickname." Finn growled, approaching the ground with wary eyes. "Call this a rescue party? Gotta split up. Cover more ground. Clarke, come with me." He told her, and she obliged and began walking with him down a lower path.

Nice save, Spacewalker. Loxy thought to herself, taking the lead of the three boys she were now stuck with.

As they trekked on in silence, Loxy could feel Bellamy staring at the back of her head. Wells must've noticed too, because he began walking behind her protectively. His eyes were on Clarke, however, as he watched her disappear with Finn.

"Guess we got more in common than what meets the eye, huh?" Bellamy taunted Wells.

"We have nothing in common," Wells barked back.

"No?" Bellamy asked, running up to stand to Loxy's right, putting her right between the two of them. "Both came down here to protect someone we love."

Wells stiffened immediately, his pace slowing down slightly. "Shut up, Amy. Maybe if you didn't spend so much time trying to figure people out you'll realize you've got it all wrong." Loxy tried defending him, but Bellamy just let out a light chuckle.

"Relax, Red. His secret's safe with me. 'Course for him it's worse. With Spacewalker around Clarke doesn't even see you," he turned to Wells. "It's like you're not even here."

Wells stopped completely, falling back into the rear. Loxy decided to give him so space, knowing if she prodded him right now it would only upset him.

"You never shut up, do you?" Loxy spat in annoyance, ignoring Bellamy's eye.

"You don't exactly have room to talk, Red." He fired back. "And I know I'm the only one trying to figure out people."

"Maybe not, but at least I do it without being so obvious." Loxy snarled, folding her arms as they continued walking. "In case you haven't noticed, cracking people is kinda my specialty."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah. For example, ever since Clarke told Finn about the wristbands yesterday, I knew you were going to use that information to your advantage. So it wasn't hard to predict you were going to go after Clarke just now." Loxy looked up to see a small hint of surprise in his eyes.

"Not bad."

"I just can't decide what you did to get that guard's uniform for the dropship." Loxy said thoughtfully, tapping her chin for emphasis. "Did you steal it? Did you take it from the body of a guard? Or did someone give it to you?"

His jaw clenched at the third option, immediately giving Loxy what she was looking for. "Ah, a secret deal. Who—"

"Stop talking and just focus on finding Jasper," Bellamy interrupted her, his eyes growing cold but Loxy could sense his fear.

"What did you do, Amy? From the looks of it you did something bad. Did you kill someone?" Loxy pressed, determined to get to the bottom of his story.

"You're so keen on talking. What about you? Why did you want to sneak into the dropship?" Bellamy questioned, eagerness in his voice.

"I did it for an escape. Seemed better than being locked away in a cell," Loxy answered, not showing any emotion to reveal anything.

At this point he was growing frustrated, his hands balling into fists. "And why would you do that? You couldn't just wait till you were eighteen to be executed."

Loxy felt a smirk slowly etch onto her lips. Using the element of surprise was always her favorite. "I'm not eighteen, nor will I ever be again, Amy. I'm twenty."

She didn't wait for a reaction before quickening her pace, meeting up with Finn and Clarke once again. "Did you find their trail?" She asked, mainly looking at Spacewalker since he was the tracker.

"Yeah, come on. We need to hurry." Clarke uttered, turning away and leading the group on. They began following a creek, kicking pebbles beneath their feet.

"Hey, how do we know this is the right way?" Murphy piped up, shoving his hands carelessly in his pockets.

"We don't." Bellamy replied, his eyes landing on Finn. "Spacewalker here thinks he's a tracker."

"It's called fourth-year Earth skills, genius. He's good." Loxy defended him, giving Finn a curt nod as a way to say you're welcome.

Both Finn and Clarke stooped down, picking up an object in the rocks. Jasper's goggles. They both exchanged glances, ignoring everyone else around them.

"See?" Bellamy said with a sly look to Wells. "You're invisible."

"Can it, Amy." Loxy shoved him with her elbow, stopping when she heard low moaning. "What the hell?" They looked around, trying to find the direction of the sound.

"Bellamy, now would be a good time to take out that gun." Clarke said over her shoulder, refusing to look at him.

Loxy met gazes with Wells, surprised by his suddenly desperate look. But she knew exactly what it was about. Bellamy's comments about being invisible were really getting to him, she could see it. She gave him a short nod, telling him that she would help.

Backing up a few paces, Loxy fell in tow with the asshole himself. "Still shell-shocked from what I told you earlier, Amy?" She asked teasingly, hoping their conversation would be enough to distract him.

Bellamy scoffed. "No. You look well over twenty."

"And you look like a thirty five year old perve." She hissed back, deciding to take action now. Gradually, she began sending energy to the gun in Bellamy's back pocket. He must've moved it from under the hem of his pants.

"You said you were a prisoner of the Ark. Is this true?" He asked, not reacting at the movement in his pocket, meaning he couldn't feel it.

"Yep." She replied, grabbing the gun that was floating midair and shoving it under the hem of her shirt before he could see.

"Then why didn't they kill you already? I heard the guard the day you were running to get on the drop ship. You're too useful?" Bellamy questioned, placing his hands on his hips.

Loxy opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off by Clarke's screams. "Jasper, oh my god!" The blonde-headed girl burst into a clearing, Loxy following her before stopping by Wells.

"What the hell was that back there?" He immediately demanded, fear glinting in his eyes as he took the gun from her. "The g-gun. It was floating."

Loxy took a deep breath, placing her hand on his arm. "I'll explain later," she finally told him. He knew, and there was no lie in the world she could come up with to hide it.

The truth that Loxy could control objects with her brain.

Loxy caught up to Clarke, holding her best friend back as they observed the scene before them. Jasper was tied against a large post with several branches sprouting from it. He was shirtless, and there was a small poultice placed on where he had been struck.

"Jasper? What the hell—WOAH!" Loxy screamed as she felt the ground underneath her cave and give way. She felt herself falling and instantly caught herself using her powers as a result of sheer panic.

However, a strong hand had reached out and grabbed her. Looking up, Loxy realized it was Bellamy Blake holding onto her. Something in his eyes gave way, and she could see concern. Worry.

It was enough for her to slowly let go of her powers, trusting that she wouldn't fall with his touch.

"You okay?" Bellamy asked as he pulled her up, the two collapsing on the ground.

"Yeah," she responded with a pant. After catching her breath for a quick moment, she got to her feet. "Finn and Murphy should go cut the vines. There's a poultice on his wound," Loxy pointed out.

"Medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?" Clarke asked, her light blue eyes gazing inquisitively.

"Maybe what they're trying to catch likes it dinner to be breathing." Bellamy suggested.

Loxy looked up, a small fraction of dread in her eyes. "Maybe what they're trying to catch is us."

"Hurry up, Murphy." Finn grumbled, waiting for him to cut his part of the vines.

"Be careful!" Clarke called to them, her head snapping to the forest at the sound of low growling.

"What the hell was that?" Wells spoke in a low tone.

"Grounders?" Finn called.

The growling soon turned into loud snarling, and a pair of eyes could be seen in the shadows.

"Bellamy, gun!" Clarke shouted.

Loxy looked at Wells to see him pull it out of his pocket, firing at the panther as it charged towards them. It ran in circles, avoiding most of Wells's shots before getting hit in the shoulder.

Loxy let out a yelp of surprise as she felt Bellamy grab her and pull her to his chest. The grass around them wavered as the animal circled them. Then, as it leaped towards them, Loxy used her powers to send it flying back at the same time as Wells shot it in the head.

Once it hit the ground Loxy flew from Bellamy's arms, ignoring the feeling his touch had sent shooting up her spine. She ran up to the creature, watching it slowly stop slithering in the grass.

"It's dead. We need to use that parachute, Wells. This'll feed us all tonight." Loxy declared, taking the parachute from Wells. "Little help here?" She gestured to Bellamy, the two of them working together to wrap it in the soft material. "Murphy and Bellamy, you two carry it while Finn and Wells can get Jasper."

To Loxy's surprise, the boys began working without complaint, though Murphy only did so because Bellamy got to work.

Once they got back to camp, Loxy and Clarke immediately began treating Jasper. "I need clean water and bandages," Clarke told her, rushing into the dropship. After several hours of helping out, Loxy walked out to see a disturbing scene.

Bellamy was handing sticks of meat to every prisoner who either didn't have their wristband or was willing to take there's off. Scoffing, Loxy headed to the clearing where Wells was sat against a tree trunk. "I think I owe you an explanation."

"Supernatural powers?" He immediately asked, his brown eyes growing wide in fear. She hated it, seeing so much fear in his eyes as he looked at her.

"Y-Yeah. I've had them s-since I was born," Loxy said in an unsteady voice, tears threatening to spill over. This was the first time she's ever explained her abilities to anyone before, and it was much worse than she thought.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? I get that I can be intimidating with my father, but, we're best friends, Loxy." He pulled her into a tight hug, his arms wrapping around her entire torso.

After a few moments in the hug, they pulled away and smiled at each other. "Thanks, Wells."

"Clarke needs to know too," he told her, his wary eyes looking back at the drop ship. "She'll understand."

Loxy nodded, watching him get up and drift into the forest. Still shaken up from her conversation with Wells, Loxy brought her knees up to her chest.

"Here," a low voice said. Loxy looked up to find Bellamy handing her a stick of meat. "You never had a wristband in the first place, so it's not like you don't have a right to eat," he said with a genuine smile.

Loxy felt sudden anger in reaction to his words. "So if someone has their wristband on, they don't have a right to eat? They just have to starve themselves?"

Bellamy shifted uncomfortably, "That's not what I—"

"I knew you were a selfish dick and all but I didn't know you would go as far as starving people if they refused to take off the only that connected them to home." Loxy spoke in a hard voice, feeling herself get more furious.

"Listen, Red—"

"Don't call me that! People are going to die with as your leader and I won't stand for it. I'm going to go give this Finn and Clarke, because I know they'd rather starvation then for their families to think they're dead." Loxy snarled, looking Bellamy up and down. She whirled around and began storming off. She stopped to turn and face him one more time.

"You're a monster, Bellamy Blake."
