Virgil POV
"A-ARE YOU FUCK-FUCKING ST-STUPID OR SOME-SOMETHING?!" Corruption screeched, throwing me into the room roughly. "D-DO YOU HAVE AN-ANY IDEA WHAT Y-YOU COULD H-HAVE DONE?! YOU ID-IDIOT! I'M G-GOING TO FUCK-FUCKING KILL Y-YOU!"

"I...I'm sorry!" I screamed, my voice still scratching considering I haven't used it in over two weeks. My hip that I fell on when he shoved me burning in pain. 

Emile and Quinn followed Corruption quickly into the room. They held onto each other, watching in horrified silence.

"D-DO YOU KN-KNOW WH-WHAT YOU D-DID?!" Corruption screeched, reminding me of what happened at the dinner earlier.

"L-Let's get down t-to business." Corruption purred, leaning back in his seat.

What are you going to do? I asked him, growing anxious of what might happen. Corruption continued to ignore me.

"Is there a reason you wanted us back here?" Asked Ignorance. "Last time you approached us after you reformed, you said you wouldn't work with us again."

"Well, g-guess I need y-you idiots f-for something a-after all." Corruption explained. "Ignorance, I'm g-going t-to need your h-help to break in-into the Light Sides h-house."

What?! Why? I asked angrily. Corruption started laughing. I turned to see similar looks of fear on Emile and Quinn's face. We all wanted answers but were too afraid to ask.

"Why?" Ignorance asked.

"Be-Because I need a n-new Pet." Answered Corruption with an evil smirk.

Don't you dare take another one of them Glitch Bitch. I hissed at him.

"Y-You know V-Virgil, it k-kinda sucks th-that I'm the on-only one that c-can hear y-you." Corruption said with a laugh. "Only I g-get t-to hear y-your remarks."

What are you getting at...?

"Steve," Corruption said, gaining the dark mage's attention. "Y-You were the o-one who cre-created the sp-special thread I u-used to sew V-Virgil's mouth shut. D-Do y-you know a w-say to change the sp-spell so th-that Virgil can talk, b-but without removing th-the thread."

"Well..." Steve mumbled, seeming to be deep in thought. "I suppose so, but I'm still a little weak from fighting with that stupid Prince just because I burned a few of the villagers crops. So the spell might stop working within a few days."

"As l-long as h-he c-can talk a-at this d-dinner, I w-will be h-happy." Corruption said, smiling evilly.

"Okay, here goes than," Steve mumbled before raising his hands. He started mumbling something under his breath and his hands started glowing with blue flames.

Than a flame shot out towards me, causing me to flinch. But the flame didn't burn me.  Instead, the flame seemed to melt into the thread, making it glow blue for a few seconds before returning to purple. I could feel the pain in my mouth ease as the thread loosened and because more stretchy.

"S-Say something." Corruption said, waving a hand in my direction. I opened my mouth, surprised when the thread complied and pain didn't shoot through my lips.

"I fucking hate you." I said lowly, my voice scratchy from not being used in so long.

Slap.

Corruption glared at me, anger in his eyes. I felt tears in my eyes from the force of the slap. I glared back at him as he sat back down in his chair.

"I'm fucking done listening and submitting to you asshole." I growled, quickly grabbing the knife next to my plate. "I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME AND MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY!"

I quickly shot up and sliced the knife across Corruption's neck. His eyes widened in shock. Black blood started quickly flowing out of the deep wound.

I raised the knife again and jammed it into the side of his neck, leaving it there. Corruption let out a gasp before falling limply onto his plate.

I ignored the screaming that came from the end of the table with all the parasitic people. I quickly turned and grabbed Emile and Quinn, pulling them up with me.

"Virgil what did you do?!" Quinn yelled, obviously panicking. "He's gonna kill you for that!"

"C'mon, we're getting out of here, let's go." I said, quickly pulling them towards the door.

"Oh I d-don't th-think So P-Pet."  Growled a voice. 

The door slammed shut and locked right as we reached the door. I turned and shoved Emile and Quinn behind me.

Anger and fear filled me as Corruption picked himself back up. Black blood was still flowing from the wound, but it wasn't affecting him anymore.

Anger blazed in Corruption's eyes. He stalked over towards us, lightening flickering off his entire body.

"D-Dinner is o-over."

A sharp kick to my gut brought me back to the present. I cried out in pain. The feet and fists rained down on me for what felt like hours on end, even though it was only a few minutes.

I felt a burning pain in my rib cage as I felt something metal slammed into me. I looked up to see Corruption wielding a baseball bat.

I whimpered as he raised it again and aimed it at my broken leg.  He brought the bat down harshly onto that leg. I screeched in agony as pain seared up my leg. Right as it was starting to heal too...

Corruption kept hitting that leg until the sickening sound of bone crunching echoed throughout the room.

Tears flowed freely from my eyes and panic set in. Black clouds started to fog my eyes and eventually I couldn't see despite my eyes being wide open.

I felt like I was suffocating. My lungs burned for air but I couldn't breath as the panic attack set it. I gasped for air but couldn't breath.

I could feel Corruption still hitting me, but I was numb now.

Quinn POV
My body racked in sobs as I watched Corruption beat Virgil. I clung onto Emile, crying into his shoulder.

I didn't want to watch, but I couldn't look away. Emile was shaking but kept an arm wrapped around me in a protective manor.

Virgil let out small whimpers now, obviously starting to loose consciousness. I knew Corruption would be angry with him, but this seems excessive.

I flinched with every hit, remembering when it was me being hit. Virgil let out a scream, returning my attention to him.

Corruption had lifted him up by the neck, starting to choke Virgil. Virgil's eyes seemed to be popping out of his sockets from the pressure. He clawed at Corruption's hands but was too weak to shove him off.

"I th-think it t-time to move a-ahead in my pl-plans." Corruption growled, forcing Virgil down on his knees.

Corruption let go of Virgil with one hand and took that glove off. His hand started glowing dark purple.

Virgil was shaking in fear. Corruption placed his hand on Virgil's forehead, before seeming to shove his whole hand into Virgil's head. Virgil let out a screech of shock and pain, tears falling quickly down his cheeks.

I gagged at the sight, feeling Emile's shaking becoming worse. Virgil eyes widened even more, if that was possible, and rolled back in his head.

His entire body went limp but fear and pain seemed frozen on his face. Corruption pulled his hand out, now holding a dark purple memory orb. Virgil slumped against Corruption, unconscious now.

Emile and I shared a terror filled look before looking back at the purple orb. And than to Virgil's seemingly lifeless body.

Virgil's memory orb...all his memories...no...

Also, about Steve, he wasn't originally gonna be an official character but a group of people in the comment section latched onto him, gave him a name (Crop Stealing Steve), and decided he worked with Corruption. So I was like, why not make him an actual character...because why not, it's what the readers want
