Deceit POV
I glared at the parasite as it slowly came too. We had all gathered to interrogate it again, to find where Steve was so we could get Quinn back.
Evan and Remus seemed to be avoiding each other, which was extremely odd. But otherwise, nothing else was out of the ordinary.
"Why did you wake me up?" The parasite mumbled, shaking its head from the grogginess.
"Tell us where Steve is," I told him. Remus stood at my side, ready to torture the thing if he doesn't comply to us.
"I already told you," It said. "He's back in the kingdom."
"Where?"
"His cave," The parasite said. "Roman knows where that is."
I looked over at Roman who nodded in certainty.
"He won't just tell you though," The parasite said. "He has the dragon witch. He won't trust you."
"I'm pretty sure that we have some pretty good ways to get people to talk," I told him.
"Steve is too strong," The parasite mumbled. "He won't break."
"Remus," I said, motioning to him. "Demonstrate."
Remus quickly summonsed a knife and slashed it across the parasite's knuckles. Then repeating it on the other hand.
The thing grimaced, shaking its head in pain.
"I thought you were demented. This is nothing," The parasite said. "I mean, if you're willing to hurt your boyfriend, I thought to expect much worse. I'm not always asleep ya know."
"Shut up!" Remus screeched, summoning a rope and pulling it around the parasite's neck. It started gagging, it's eyes bugging out.
"Don't kill it," I hissed at Remus. Having to drag him off the parasite when Remus ignored me. What did Remus do? Why did it get such a reaction out of him?
"I'm not going to tell you how to get Quinn back," The parasite said. "He will rot alone in the Pit. You won't be able to save him."
I glared at the parasite but didn't say anything. It seemed delirious on pain now.
"Quinn is gonna die. Die die die. The parasite will destroy him. He's stuck down there." It rambled. "He will die, slowly and painfully. All alone. Oh god, you can hear him screaming when your the Pit. He won't shut up. The voices are strong. They tear him apart, so he screams. So Corruption found ways to shut him up. With his dick-"
The parasite didn't get to finish because I lunged at it. I tightened my hands around it's neck, making sure to dig my nails in.
The parasite looked at me with a crazed look in its eye. He enjoyed making me mad.
Now it was Remus turn to drag me off the parasite so I didn't kill it. I was angry. Beyond angry.
Corruption keeps threatening Quinn. The one person I love. This is the third time Quinn has been kidnapped. I don't know how much more Quinn can take. I will not calm down until Quinn is back safe in my arms.
"Where is Quinn?" I seethed, anger rolling off me.
"I don't know!" It screamed in my face. "Steve knows where he whose name I can not say! Quinn is with him!
"Who is the other Pet of Corruption's that you keep alluding too?" Asked Logan.
"I can't say his name,"
"Why not?" I asked, my patience starting to wear thin.
"Not worthy,"
"You said that last time," Logan said. "Please elaborate."
"He..." But the parasite trailed off. "I can't say."
"Knock him out," I told Remus again. I'm fed up with this. Remus slammed Logan's dictionary into the Parasite's head again.
"You can get us to Steve, correct?" I asked Roman.
"Yeah, I know where he is," Roman said.
"Good, you and Remus are coming with me," I told him.
"What?" Asked Remus.
Without saying anything else, I changed into the Parasite. Steve won't trust me. But he'll trust me if I look like the Parasite.
"Let's go find Steve," I told them.
~•~
Roman and Remus led the way to Steve's cave. Roman carrying his sword, Remus carrying his mace. I followed behind, not liking this form.
We reached the entrance of the cave. I could see lights far down in it. There was no sign of the dragon witch.
"You two will stay out here," I told them. They both looked at me in shock. "I will call for you if I need help. But it would look suspicious if you were there with me."
"I guess that makes sense," Roman mumbled.
"Finally something that makes sense for your tiny brain," Remus teased him.
"I do not have a tiny brain!" Roman yelled at him in offense.
"Your right," Remus said, a mischievous grin crossing his face. "You have a tiny dick."
"No I don't!" Roman yelled, his face turning bright red.
"Try not to kill each other," I told them, before heading into the cave. I left the two screaming twins to fight it out.
I headed into the cave, not liking the claustrophobic feeling I got. It was dark, but I could see faint lights ahead.
I entered a large opening. A cauldron in the middle, a strange red liquid brewing in it. Large shelves full of books and strange plants lined the walls. The only sign of someone living here was the small messy bed in the corner.
"Oh, your back," Said a voice. I turned to see Steve walk out of a tunnel.
"I am," I said, watching him intently.
"So they found you out?" He asked. "Exposed your true form."
"No they didn't," I lied easily. Steve narrowed his eyes in suspicion.
"You weren't supposed to return to me unless they found you out," He said slowly.
"It's boring there and they don't pay Quinn too much attention," I lied. "I wanted to visit and see how things were going. So I was able to slip out easily."
"You still aren't supposed to be here," He told me.
Suddenly, his amulet started glowing a bright yellow. Then his eyes started glowing. Shock but understanding seemed to pass over his face.
"Deceit!" He screamed, revealing me. I hissed and lunged at him.
Before anything else could happen, I lunged at him. I grabbed him by the neck and wrapped my arms around him.
He struggled but I was a lot bigger than him. I shoved him towards the cauldron. I took notice on how he did not want to be close to the strange red liquid.
So I pushed him over the edge, his face dangling dangerously close to the liquid. His eyes flashed red, matched with the now glowing amulet.
But before he could cast any spells, I grabbed the amulet and yanked it harshly off his neck. He glared at me as I tossed it away from him.
Without his amulet, he was just a normal person from the Imagination. No powers. It made him weak.
"Now why don't you tell me where Quinn is," I hissed in his ear. "Or else."
