TRIGGER WARNING : basically just a giant recap of all this shit that corruption's done

Remus POV
I was practically skipping back to the Side's House.  I've never been this happy before.  Not even with Ignorance.

Evan just seemed to carry a happy air with him that effected me anytime I was around him. 

Hanging out with him was amazing.  We sat there together until the morning.  Just talking and stargazing. 

We watched the sunrise together.  It was very beautiful in the Imagination.  Then I walked him home but now I'm back home. 

I opened the door, a huge smile on my face.  I wanted to go running to Roman and tell him everything that happened, but was surprised to see him in the living room.  With everyone else, even Thomas was there. 

"Oh Thomas!"  I yelled.  "It's so good to see you again!  Did you miss me?"

I strolled over to them and sat right next to Thomas, obnoxiously putting my arm around him.  I knew he didn't like me, so why not make him hate me more?

"Whatcha all doing?"  I asked. 

"We we're discussing what to do about Corruption."  Answered Logan. 

"Isn't Remus working with Corruption?"  Thomas mumbled to Patton. 

"Oh come now Thomas, I'm not all evil."  I said.  "I'm a good guy now!  I mean, ever since Issac died...I've had no reason to stay with that glitch bitch.  Besides, I don't wanna loose my host now do I?" 

"Who's Issac?"  Asked Thomas.

"Oh that was Ignorance's real name."  I explained.  "Corruption decided to throw him in the Pit because he doesn't trust anyone anymore.  All thanks to me!" 

"Ignorance is dead?!"  Yelled everyone, except Roman, simultaneously. 

"Yeah, he was a real dick."  I said with disdain. 

"Language."  Patton chastised. 

"Did you see Virgil or Dee when Ignorance died?"  Asked Quinn in a timid voice. 

"Nope."  I said, popping the 'p'. 

Both Roman and Quinn looked down at the floor in sadness.  Kinda felt back for them, kinda didn't.

"Anyways," Logan said. "We already explained to Remus everything that Corruption has done to Patton, Quinn, and Emile. Is there anything you'd like to share with us about you're time with Corruption?"

"Umm he's a self centered dick that's for sure," I said, removing my arm from Thomas's shoulders. "Virgil is basically his personal maid and sex slave. Dee has no fucking clue what's going on, just blindly following Corruption.  Ignorance is dead, so not much to talk about there.  I have no clue as to what he's planning if that what you mean.  He didn't trust me before, he just wanted my demented thoughts to use.  All I know is he's out to kill me since I freed Patton, Quinn, and Emile."

"Well that's not helpful at all."  Grumbled Roman, obviously angry now.

"Sorry Ro, I don't know shit."  I told him. 

"But you do know where he is."  Roman argued.

"That I do know." 

"Can you tell us?"  Asked Logan. 

"I could, but it'd be easier to just show you."  I told them.  "Though, Corruption's actual house is in the Pit."  I said, using air quotes around house. 

"Really?"  Logan asked in a surprised voice. 

"Yeah, but he isn't there anymore.  He moved into the Dark Side mindpalace."  I explained.  "But I can still get you guys there whenever." 

"Would you be able to go and just grab Virgil and Deceit?"  Asked Patton.  "Without Corruption noticing." 

"Deceit, yes I probably could."  I answered, thinking it over.  "But not Virgil.  Corruption...if very fond of his favorite pet.  He keeps a special collar on Virgil, that allows him to keep tabs on him at all times." 

"You could recuse Dee?"  Asked Quinn, an actual hopeful look in his eyes. 

"But what about Virgil?"  Asked Roman angrily. 

"Chill Roman."  Remy said.  "Lets get Dee back first, than we'll worry about Virge." 

"But why Deceit first?"  Roman's hands were shaking in anger. 

"Because as of right now, we can get Dee back."  Patton said in a comforting manor.  "We can't do that for Virgil yet." 

"If you ever need to talk Roman,"  Emile said gently.  "My office is always open." 

"I'm fine."  Roman said forcefully. 

"Is there anything we can do to get rid of Corruption before he hurts anyone else?"  Thomas asked, obviously distressed by all of this. 

"I've debated the use of antipsychotic pills, seeing as how much anti-anxiety pills seemed to negatively effect Virgil."  Logan said.  "But there is no way for you to gain access to any type of antipsychotic pills without any mental illnesses that involves insanity."

"Well I guess still being mentally stable is one good thing."  Thomas said. 

"Yes, that is good but that means you can't take antipsychotics."  Logan agreed.  "Corruption also mentioned when he first revealed himself that only you, Thomas, can destroy him."

"But what does that even mean?"  Asked Patton. 

"It makes no sense."  Quinn mumbled. 

"Well, Corruption tends to not make sense."  I said.

"Remus do you know how Corruption managed to steal Deceit and Virgil's memories?"  Asked Logan.

"No clue."  I answered with an uncomfortable laugh.  "I've never seen him do it until now.  It could be Steve's magic, but I don't know."

"Who's Steve?"  Asked Patton.  "I've heard that name before..." 

"He's a dark mage,"  I answered.  "Actually from the Kingdom of Dreams.  Corruption struck a deal with him and got some black magic shit.  The string he used to sew Virgil's lips together was created by Steve.  I'll bet you anything that Steve taught him how to do that." 

"The dark mage from my kingdoms is working with Corruption?!"  Roman yelled in shock. 

"Yeah, keep up dipshit."  I grumbled. 

"Oh shut up."  Roman growled. 

"How about you shut the fuck up or I won't help." 

"Yeah right,"  Roman argued.  "You care a lot more than you let you." 

"Whatever Romano."  I said.  "At least I'm actually trying to help." 

"Can everyone just stop arguing?"  Asked Thomas.  "This is serious.  There is someone, in my mind, that is trying to destroy me.  Like straight up murder and all you die." 

"Yeah, that might be a problem."  I mumbled. 

"Okay, we've been fighting this dude for like three months now."  Remy said.  "He won't go away." 

"We can hope."  Patton said. 

"But, what if he never goes away?"  Asked Quinn, making us all stop talking.  Wondering what the hell we can do now. 

We've been fighting Corruption for this long.  And he always seems to be one step ahead of us.  We can't fucking stop him. 

But a small orb of lightening suddenly appearing on the coffee table between all of us, caused us all to jump. 

Patton and Emile both let out little screams of fear.  The rest of us just stared in shock as the orb disappeared, revealing a piece of paper. 

We all stared at it, all to afraid to say anything or touch it.  Logan slowly reached out and picked the paper up.

We all watched in terrifying silence as Logan opened the paper and read it.  His eyes widened in shock and he looked over at me. 

Confusion filled me as he passed me the paper without saying anything.  As I read it, my blood going cold.  Anger and pure terror filled me. 

Dear Remus,
          I'm happy to say I know all about your...friend.  Well, not very happy for you.  Considering how you so happily took my Pets, I feel it's only fair if I do the same to you.  Maybe if you beat me to his house, you can save your precious Innocence.  If not...I guess I get to add a new Pet to my collection to replace the ones you stole from me. 
           Send my regards to my other Pet's for me.  I quite miss them.  But for now, you should probably be sending your goodbyes to that certain friend of yours.
