Chapter one: White boards are greasy Peggy.

The bell rings signalling dismissal.

"Meet me at the car?" Alex whispers as
he grabs my waist and snuggles deep into my neck.

"Meet you at the car" I whisper back and turn around to face him.

I kiss his nose softly and spin back around to pack my stuff up.

Peggy calls me as soon as I'm packed and ready to leave the classroom.

"Hey P, what's up?"

"Meet me at Mr. Darrens class"

Before I can argue that I have plans she hangs up.

As I rush through the crowded halls trying to make my way to the destination she asked I look out the window to see Alex standing against his car checking his watch. As I stare at his beautiful complexion he looks at me and notices my shy smile as I cut our plans off.

"Sorry" I mouth.

He shrugs it off and walks towards the football team to meet his best friend Aaron Burr.

I watch him do a handshake with him as my pocket starts to vibrate and buzz.

Surprise, it's Peggy.

" Hel-"

"Where are you?!" She screams

"Hold on, I'm coming!" I roll my eyes as if she can see me.

We hang up and I rush towards Mr. Darren's class. As I approach the door it swings open and a frustrated looking Mr. Darren's walks out.

"Good afternoon John" he says.

"Mr. Darren's, always a pleasure to see you" I nod and smile as he passes by me.

"So Peggy what's the problem" I ask setting my bag on a chair.

"I have detention and I need your help" she says sheepishly.

"Oh my god. You yell at me and make me cancel my plans so I could help you in detention?" I ask in disbelief, this was so unlike her.

"I'm sorry J, I just really need help right now! I have a date with-"

"A date?!?" I cut her off "with whom" I ask innocently.

"Burr" she giggles.

"Oh god no, he's a player and you know it" I scold.

"But you're in love with Alex! That's not fair" she huffs and crosses her arms.

"Alex is good to me and he's loyal to me. It's much different" I assure her.

"Please J, help me with an outfit?"

I grab her phone and type her outfit in her notes.

•yellow lace crop top
•short dark wash jean shorts
•hair in braids
•black battle boots

I pass her back her phone and she thanks me.

"Oh my god Peggy! Your hair is so greasy!" I exclaimed.

"What do you mean? I washed it before school and I was just standing against the white board" she mumbles.

"White boards are greasy Peggy" I state.

"Oh crap!" She grabs her stuff and abandons the room in a hurry.

I laugh and grab my things following after her because she's my ride home.

My phone starts to buzz on my night table and I wake up annoyed.

"Hello?" I attempt to mumble in my sleepy state.

"H-hey J-j, are you a-awake?" Peggy stutters and I hear her sniffle.

"Now I am, whats wrong?" I sit up immediately.

"C-can I come over?" She sighs.

"Definitely, sneak in my window" I say.

"Thanks J" she hangs up and I hear tapping on my window.

I rush to open it and see Peggy who must've been in my driveway already.

"What happened?"I asked as I see her red puffy eyes and make up smudged face.

"It was Burr" she starts "H-he made me feel s-so special and I thought maybe he r-really liked me. He lead me on and started to touch me in p-places" she couldn't finish but I got the hint as she curled in a ball on my bed.

I watched her body shake as she cried in my arms.

I'm gonna kill that jack ass Burr.

He raped Peggy.

I rush across campus and look for Burr. As per usual he's no where to be found. He's probably raping another girl in the janitors closet as we speak.

I notice Alex by some guys I haven't met before.

Ah yes, he's getting those nerds to do his homework for the week. I smile and giggle as I pass them but then return to my mad state.

"Hey wait up!" I hear Alex yell as he grabs my arm and spins me around.

"Hey babe" I mumble.

"What happened yesterday?" He asks worried.

My eyes widen in fear, oh god he knows about Peggy.

"You blew me off" he mumbles and I soon realize that's what he meant.

"Yeah sorry, I just had an emergency" I lie with a strong smile.

"Oh ok, hey I gotta get back to those nerds, catch you later?" He kisses me harshly and puts everything into it.

"Oh definitely"I mutter because I want more of him.

As I watch him leave I remember my task.

Find Burr and beat the shit out of him.

I look until the bell rings signalling the first period when I find Peggy sitting under a tree,  hugging her knees to her chest.

"P?" I ask gently.

"Hey J" she looks up and I could tell she had been crying.

"It's ok, we'll stop him from doing this to girls. We'll go to the police damn it!" I assure her.

"No it's ok, I can handle it" she pleads.

"I don't want you to go through this alone" I hug her and hold her close.

"Ok" she mutters into my sweater.

I grab her hand and we walk to class together.

"No way, not Burr" Alex argues.

"You know what he's like, why are you surprised?" I question.

We're currently sitting at the lunch table as I tell him what Burr did to Peggy.

"Well, I know what he's like but I don't want to believe he'd do that" Alex frowns.

I want to tell him it's fake just so he can smile again.

"I guess you don't know him as well as you thought" I shyly say.

"You're right. When I find him I'm gonna hurt that little bastar-"

"No, Peggy doesn't want us to do anything. No violence Alex, promise me no violence!" I beg him.

"I promise but I don't know for how long" he says as he kisses my forehead and we walk to our next class together.

God, I love this boy with every part of me.
