Chapter 19
It had been a week since Blake had woken up. Word about what happened to her got around pretty quickly. Many people felt bad for her, but others were convinced that she was an enemy spy. Because of all this only certain people were allowed to visit Blake and they refused to give her any information about what happened.
Blake spent most of the day alone since her teammates had to go to class. Being alone all day was quite boring and she actually missed going to class. She had asked to be able to attend her classes in a wheelchair, but her request had been immediately denied. It was frustrating, here she was, missing an eye and badly beaten and she didn't know how it happened. She tried to remember, but nothing about the incident would come to mind. Whenever she asked Yang about it she would quickly change the subject and avoided eye contact with her.
Everyday Blake would wait for when Yang would visit her after class. She came by frequently and it was the thing she looked forward to the most. Yang would explain what they went over in class and give Blake notes so she wouldn't get too behind. The others visited too, just not as often as Yang did.

Blake was fast asleep when Yang walked in the room. She smiled to herself and walked over to the bed, holding something behind her back. "Psst! Kitty cat," Yang said, trying to wake up her sleeping partner. The cat faunus shifted but didn't wake up. The blonde groaned and called out again, "pssssst! Blake!"
Blake's eye finally opened and she looked at the grinning blonde sleepily. "Hey Yang," she said with a yawn.
"I brought you something!" Her grin grew as she moved the plate out from behind her back. "Hospital food sucks so I brought you somethin' from the cafeteria." She laughed when she saw Blake's ears perk up when she noticed the tuna sandwich that Yang was holding. "Here," she said as she handed her partner the plate.
"Yang, you're too sweet," the dark haired girl replied before taking a bite of the sandwich.
Yang sat down on the end of the bed, "I miss ya in Ooblecks." She gazed at her partner, "I can't wait until you come back to class. Anyway, have you gotten any word on your condition?"
Blake sighed and looked down at the half eaten sandwich. "No, they are still refusing to tell me everything. All I know right now is that I'm missing an eye and I still can't walk," she frowned, "it's really frustrating. I'm missing my eye and nobody will tell me how it happened. Is it really that bad? Did I do something wrong?"
"Blake, you didn't do anything wrong. I'm sure they'll tell you someday." She smiled softly at her, "well, just so you know, you're going to have to get notes from Ice Queen because I slept through class today."
Blake sighed and laughed, "really, Yang?"
