Songhi agreed to meet Taehyung the next day. She packed a large lunch for the three of them to share and trudged after her brother into the wood.

Yongho was nervous in an unfamiliar way. He wasn't sure what yesterday would mean for them today.

Regardless, he met Taehyung by the wall. And helped him reach the ground.

"Yongho," he smiled. "What are we gathering today?"

"Songhi hasn't told me yet." Yongho smiled.

Taehyung lifted a brow at the words and looked over Yongho's shoulder to see. Indeed there was a woman there. She very much reminded Taehyung of Yongho, although her eyes were darker, a haze of brown, rather than Yongho's mischievous greens. She was slightly taller and long brown hair tumbled over her shoulders in unruly strands. She was in the process of pulling it back with fingers rough from burns and spoons and stones she used for poultices.

Taehyung clapped his hands together.

Yongho turned aside to introduce the pair, unable to shake the memory of the day before.

"Kim Taehyung, this is my sister: Mun Songhi. Songhi, this is Kim Taehyung."

It was a relief when Songhi bowed her head respectfully and greeted Taehyung.

"Oh, please, Songhi-ssi. Taehyung is adequate. I feel more comfortable hearing it."

She nodded gracefully.

The group trudged through the forest, small conversations blossoming amidst the foliage and Yongho was pleased at how easily Taehyung made conversations light. Songhi chose not to spend the whole day with them, rather she left after their meal. Back to the village with a smile on her lips and a wave to the boys.

"Songhi is lovely."

Yongho nodded agreeably.

Neither of them had made any allusions to the previous days... occurrence. Now Yongho was finding it difficult to fill the silence.

Taehyung seemed to sense this and he leaned over and slipped his hand over Yongho's.

"I think you're more lovely, though." Tae whispered, tracing his fingers delicately over Yongho's outstretched palm.

Yongho stared at their joined hands, feeling a rosiness creep up his neck. He felt Taehyung's free hand gently hold his jaw, lifting his head carefully. His eyes were wide and dark.

"I'm falling in love with you Yongho." Tae whispered. "May I kiss you again?"

Unable to find the words, Yongho nodded his head. And so Taehyung pressed their lips together delicately. He kept a soft hand on Yongho's chin and Yongho's hands fought for a hold on Taehyung's waist, finding it to be surprisingly small.

Despite how right it felt to be held like this, to be in Taehyung's arms, Yongho could not help but reflect on those words of warning Songhi had bid him.
