BUTTER FT MEGAN THEE !!! GO PINK!

Jungkook's Pov
Last night felt like a dream. Y/N and I shared a kiss that was filled with so much longing and emotion. I wished it were more than just a kiss, but we both knew better than to rush things. It was just the beginning of navigating this complicated situation.
I went through my morning routine and took a quick shower, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep and lingering emotions from the night before. Mondays have always been dreadful, a feeling that hadn't changed since my school days. When I walked into the dining room, I was taken aback to see Taehyung there.
His face mirrored my surprise. "What are you doing here?" he exclaimed.
"Hey! That's my question! What are you doing in Y/N's flat?" I shot back, equally confused.
"I sta—" I started to explain, but suddenly, Y/N pulled me back into her room. Her eyes were wide with panic.
"Please don't say anything to him about our relationship," she begged, her hands folded in desperation. Her request stung, but I understood her reasoning. She didn't want to hurt Taehyung. But what about me? It was painful pretending everything was fine, but I nodded and agreed to her request. We composed ourselves and went back out to face Taehyung.
"Umm, he just came in the morning. He was having some problems with his car, so he wanted to borrow mine for the day," Y/N quickly explained. It was a weak excuse, but it was all she could come up with on the spot.
"Oh, I see..." Taehyung eyed me suspiciously, and I forced an awkward smile in return. "By the way!" Taehyung placed a hand around Y/N's shoulder. "Jungkook, thank you very much for taking care of Y/N in my absence. I am really grateful to you. I can manage from now on."
"Oh, you're welcome," I replied half-heartedly, my eyes fixed on his hand wrapped around Y/N. She didn't protest. Why should she? This was all so complicated.
I tried to mask my hurt, but it was difficult. Every touch, every look between them felt like a dagger to my heart. I kept reminding myself that I had agreed to this, that I wanted Y/N to be happy, even if it meant enduring this pain.
As we sat down for breakfast, the tension was palpable. Taehyung was his usual cheerful self, completely oblivious to the emotional turmoil between Y/N and me. He chatted about his plans for the day, while I ate in silence, occasionally glancing at Y/N. Each time our eyes met, it was like a silent plea for strength.
After breakfast, they left. Apparently Tae was here to drive her to her office. As the day went on, I couldn't shake the feeling of dread. I knew that sooner or later, she would have to make a decision. But for now, all I could do was take things one step at a time and hope that, in the end, we would all find a way to be happy.

I was in Taehyung's car, and he had insisted on driving me to the office. The ride was mostly silent, and I found myself lost in my thoughts. I was still unsure how to behave around him. Should I tell him about Jungkook? How would he react? What if he did something reckless?
"Hey! You okay there?" Taehyung asked from the driver's seat, breaking the silence. Was my face that obvious?
"N-No, nothing, it's just..." Should I tell him? Forget it! Maybe later. I don't want to ruin my morning. "I was just thinking... since when did you become the CEO?"
"CEO? Me?" He looked at me as if I were speaking an alien language.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "You're kidding, right? I know you became the CEO of Kim & Sons Entertainment." I laughed slightly, trying to lighten the mood.
"Ha ha ha! You got me! I was just promoted a few months ago!" He laughed awkwardly. His response didn't seem convincing at all. Nevertheless, I decided to let it slide since we had already reached my office.
"Thank you for the ride," I said as I got out of the car.
"Later, baby~" he remarked cockily. I gave him a toothy grin before he drove away. Aish! This boy never changes!
I watched his car disappear down the street, feeling a mix of emotions. The morning ride had been more stressful than I had anticipated. The uncertainty of how to handle the situation with Taehyung and Jungkook weighed heavily on my mind. As I walked into the office, I took a deep breath, trying to focus on the tasks ahead.
The day passed in a blur of meetings and paperwork. Despite my best efforts to concentrate, my mind kept drifting back to the complicated web of feelings and relationships I was entangled in. During a brief lunch break, I found myself staring out the window, wondering how I would ever resolve the situation without hurting someone I cared about.
1 week later
Jungkook's pov
Life just sucked! Y/N had become so clingy in Taehyung past week. Why didn't she just tell me to go away if she loved him? Why did her smile always give me hope that she might choose me over him? I felt like hitting something every time I saw them together. No matter how much I tried to hate her, I couldn't. No matter how much I tried to move on, I couldn't. No matter how much I tried to accept my fate, I couldn't. Why couldn't she be mine? What did I lack?
I couldn't even concentrate on my work. I had lost my appetite. Even my sleep was filled with images of her. Could I just crawl back into my mother's womb and be reborn in a world where I never met these two? Then they could live their lives, and all these problems caused by my stupid heart would vanish.
"Sir? Are you listening?" My assistant Kang Eunho's voice dragged me back to reality.
"Sorry, I was spaced out. Can you please repeat that?" I tried to focus on him.
"I need more time to finalize the blueprints."
"More time? It's been a week, Kang! How can you be so slow?!" I lashed out, my frustration boiling over. It wasn't his fault, but he became the target of my misplaced anger. I felt sorry but couldn't bring myself to apologize.
"I am sorry," he said, looking down in sorrow.
"Stop clinging to SNS and concentrate on your work! I need this done by tomorrow. AM I CLEAR?" I shouted, my voice echoing through the office. He flinched at my sudden outburst, then bowed and left without another word. I let out an exhausted sigh and rubbed my temples. I guessed I was too stressed those days.
The day dragged on, each minute feeling like an hour. My mind was a chaotic mess, filled with thoughts of Y/N and Taehyung. Their laughter, their conversations, and their closeness gnawed at me. I felt like an outsider in my own life, constantly yearning for something I couldn't have.
Time skip.
I parked my car and saw Y/N talking to someone on the phone. She was smiling brightly. Unconsciously, my own lips curved into a smile, but it didn't last long when I thought about the possibility of Taehyung being on the other end of the line. She made her way toward the elevator, and as soon as she saw me, she ended the call. She gestured for me to get in first.
I quickened my steps, trying to match her pace. The elevator ride was filled with an awkward silence. I felt a strange sense of suffocation, as if the air itself had become thick and oppressive. The tension between us was palpable, and I couldn't shake off the unease that settled in my chest.
Thankfully, the elevator doors opened, and I quickly stepped out, eager to escape the confined space. The moment I was outside, I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing heart.
We walked down the hallway together, the tension lingering like a dark cloud. I couldn't help but steal glances at her, wondering what she was thinking. The sight of her smiling on the phone earlier kept replaying in my mind, a constant reminder of the complicated situation we were in.
"So, how was your day?" she asked, trying to make conversation.
"It was okay," I said, forcing a smile. "Just the usual work stuff. How about yours?"
"It was good," she replied, though her tone seemed a bit distracted. "Just busy with a lot of things."
As we stepped in our appartment, I couldn't shake off the feeling of impending doom. The reality of our situation was crashing down on me, and I didn't know how much longer I could keep up this façade. I therefore, excused myself and went into my room.

I did spend a lot of time with Tae in the past week. We went for movies and short dates. But despite all the time we spent together, I couldn't shake off this feeling of discomfort around Taehyung anymore. It was like something had shifted between us. I don't know if it was because I had lost my romantic feelings for him, or if it was something else entirely. He seemed different somehow, behaving awkwardly at times. It was as if he was a completely different person now.
Even his smile, which used to melt my heart, failed to have the same effect on me.
Should I tell him that I love Jungkook? It felt like the right thing to do, especially considering that Jungkook was his best friend. Surely he would understand. I thought it might be best for everyone involved. I wanted to move on from my past, and living with Taehyung would constantly remind me of that horrible night. The fear that he might do something stupid if I stayed with him was always there, lurking in the back of my mind. Maybe he should just move on and find someone who could make him truly happy. I couldn't shake off this feeling that I wasn't perfect for him.
But before making any decisions, I decided to take Jungkook's advice first. He always had a way of seeing things clearly, and I trusted him to help me navigate through this mess. However, he hadn't come out of his room since he returned. Dinner was ready, but he was nowhere to be seen. "JUNGKOOK? Dinner is ready," I called out from the dining area.
"I had my dinner on my way home!" his voice echoed back from his room.
I sighed and finished my plate, knowing it was time for a serious discussion. Quietly, I opened Jungkook's door and found him engrossed in his phone. As I took a seat beside him, he paused and looked at me. I noticed his eyes were almost invisible under the dark circles, and his lips lacked their usual pinkish hue. He seemed dull, and it worried me. "Why do you look like that? Are you sick?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
He gave me a not-so-reassuring smile. "I'm perfectly fine."
I gulped down my concerns and steered the conversation to the topic at hand. "Jungkook... I think I've finally decided what to do with my life," I began, feeling the weight of my words. He looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
"I think I am ready to let go of Taehyung. I don't feel the same way about him anymore. I think I'm happier with you. Our relationship cracked four years ago, and he should move on. I won't be able to keep him happy as he deserves. I already failed him once. Directly or indirectly, the reason he jumped that night was me—"
"It wasn't your fault," Jungkook interrupted gently.
"Let me finish. I'll tell him about us. I'll end it all. I want peace, Jungkook. And I found that with you. You never fail to calm me, no matter how bad things get. I don't think I can let go of you now. I'm addicted to your unconditional love. I promise to return it all to you," I confessed, blushing despite it not even being a formal confession.
His eyes lit up with joy, and he enveloped me in a tight hug. "I'm so happy right now! I feel whole again! Thank you for choosing me. I love you so much, Y/n," he choked on his words, tears streaming down his face and onto my bare shoulder.
"Why are you crying?" I asked, patting his soft hair as tears of my own escaped.
"I'm just... very happy," he sniffled. "I fought so hard to forget about our relationship, but I couldn't. I don't want to let go of you, Y/n. I want to stay with you... forever."
"Love you too, Bunny," I whispered.
After an emotional moment, we decided to celebrate. Jungkook shook a bottle of whiskey while I roasted some chicken, the atmosphere filled with anticipation and love.
