Wally's POV
If I had just been faster, none of this would've happened, and Dick wouldn't be dying.
Until Bruce and Babs can work out an antidote strong enough to remove the toxin from Dick's bloodstream, he's been put in a coma. The doctors tried waking him up once, but he almost committed suicide out of fear as soon as Barbara walked into the room.
The poison isn't going away, either. It's slowly eating away at his nervous system. If we don't get it out of him in 48 hours, he'll be a living vegetable for the rest of his life. Which wouldn't be long.

Barbara's POV
If I had just given Dick back his mask, none of this would've happened, and Dick wouldn't be dying.
"Bruce, I might have a breakthrough." I say. I haven't left the Batcave's lab for twenty-four hours. Bruce leaves occasionally, and I've had some help from Raquel and Wally. "I've developed an antidote, but it has to be distributed at the cellular level."
"I can get the Atom and Bumblebee in there. And the league has two spare Bee suits. I could send in Superboy and-"
"Put me in." I say.
"Barbara-"
"It's my fault that Dick's like this." I give Bruce the 'look'. "Besides, if we fail, I want to know that I did everything in my power." I don't mention the part about if we fail, I don't want to live anymore.
"I'll send you in. But only if you promise not to end your life if you fail." Bruce puts his hand on my shoulder. "Dick wouldn't want you to die because he did." Seriously, Bruce knows exactly how to get to me.
"Okay." I sniff. "I promise." I wrap my arms around Bruce, and he hesitates for a moment to hug me back.
"It'll be okay, Barb. It'll be okay."

"Woah! This is so cool!" I exclaim as I shrink down, along with Wally, Raquel and Ray.
"Put on your masks." Ray orders, and we all attach our helmets. A huge syringe sucks us all up, then suddenly we're all floating in Dick's bloodstream.

A huge red thing floats past me.
"Was that a blood cell?" Wally and I exclaim at the same time.
"Batgirl, give us the antidote." I hand out a sort of gun thing I created that will kill the toxin on contact.
"We need to get to Robin's lungs. The toxin is multiplying from there. Then we can take out any radical cells." Ray starts swimming up stream. This is quite unnerving. No pun intended.
"We won't...hurt Robin, will we?" I ask.
"It'll just feel like a sore throat." Raquel explains.
"Oh."

"Toxin cell, three o'clock." Wally points his gun towards a huge grey-green bubbling mass. This is really creepy. I'm literally inside my best friend. That sounded really wrong. You know what I mean.
I shoot the cell, and it evaporates.
"Yes! Let's go kick some toxin ass!" I yell excitedly, accidentally kicking a wall.
"Batgirl! Let's minimise the contact with Robin's internal organs, okay?" Wally grabs my wrist and starts pulling me behind him.

I'm back to back with Raquel, shooting the toxin cells. It's going to take a while to get rid of them all.
"Atom! How much longer do we have?" I yell.
"Uh...We've been in here for eighteen hours and forty three minutes!"
"How is that possible?" I yell, although I already know the answer. Hey, I didn't study astrophysics for no reason.
"We're the size of one of the smallest things on the planet. To us, the length of swimming in here is like the equivalent of swimming the English Chanel. And that's just swimming up his forearm."
"At this rate, Robin's not going to make it. Bumblebee, Atom, split up and search for radicals. KF, you and I will work on them here. DO NOT MISS ANY!" I instruct.

"Bumblebee, we've only got a few more in here. How are you guys?" I ask through Comms.
"I'm just heading back to the rendezvous now." Ray answers.
"I'm already there." Raquel counters.
"Okay, we'll be there in like, an hour."

"KF! Behind you!" Wally spins around and shoots the last cell.
"Let's go." I sigh. "I've had just about enough of this."

The syringe sucks us all up once again, and plops us back onto a table. I press the retract button on my suit.
I feel like a puddle for a few seconds, then the rest of me catches up with my skin.
I pull off my helmet.
"And now?" I say weakly. "We wait."
