Seventeen, Assemble
Okay, normally, I wouldn't want that little "Hey my names Bea Miller" but also, that's how Bea Miller sounds and that's how I wanted Bea in this book to sound. Also, the correlation of their names is complete coincidence seeing as this was going to be an xreader but I decided against it because I had an idea for how this story was going to work, so I used my OC (enter, Bea, hero name not disclosed) (Its been said a lot I'm pretty sure no one has caught on though.) so yeah. That's why I put that in. I do recommend Bea Miller's music though it's really good.

"So you could potentially age someone to death?" Peter asks me.
"Theoretically, yes. I could. And if you don't stop asking me questions about this I might just do that." I threaten. This has gone on for the past hour. The first few questions were fun to test. Peter was hungry and had an orange he was eating, so I reversed time to see if I could give him more to eat. Then we did it until it turned back into a flower that it came from on the tree.
That was kind of fun.
We then did it with a few other inedible things. (We turned a box of screws back into liquid metal for Tony to find later.)
Also, kind of fun.
After the first forty five minutes we both got bored of it. Now Peter was just firing random questions.
Tony, Wanda and Steve were still out doing stuff from when they told us don't come out until they gave us the okay.
The "okay" hasn't come for an hour.
"The one time we're obidient is the one time they take forever." Peter sighs
"Why can't we just be disobedient?" I ask
"You really want to be disobedient when there's a Norse God outside?" Peter asks
"A little." I admit.
"No."
We suddenly hear rushed footsteps coming back into the room. Peter and I straighten up from our slouched position in swivel chairs (we spun on those for a good ten minutes as well.)
"Man of spiders! Lady Beatrice! Stark requests your presence immediately!" a guy says.
"Who the hell are you?" I ask.
"Thor. That's who the hell he is. Now let's go!" Peter says, slipping off his clothes to reveal his suit. I already had mine on. Peter grabs my hand and rushes out, following Thor.
We get outside and see the Avengers lined up.
Peter and I walk up to Tony.
"Welcome to the party, kiddos." Tony says
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong." Steve comments.
"Peter. Run. Get back inside! Now!" I shout, throwing a bubble over them. It should slow them down. Or freeze them. Either way it gives us enough time to escape.
I grab Peter's hand and we run into the building, locking it behind us.
"We need to figure out Tony's password." I say, running over to his computer where we tracked Peter. No doubt he has a way to find him and the Avengers.
"Why? What's going on?" he asks
"Those are copies. Why would they just stand there saying nothing is wrong. And, Tony wouldn't call us kiddos." I say. "They've taken the Avengers somewhere and we need to find them."
"But Tony said-"
"Forget what Tony said, Peter! We aren't little kids anymore! He can't treat us like them. Especially when they're in danger." I say, "They'd do the same for us. They wouldn't just pass it off saying that we're fine and we'll get ourselves out. They need help!"
"Then we can get Doctor Strange or something! Bea, we're just a couple of teenagers!"
"Teenagers who can do some pretty weird shit."
"True."
"Think of anything that could be Tony's password." I say.
"What about the password he gave us for clarification on our identities? So we wouldn't have to quiz each other every time." Peter suggests
"Maybe..." I typed it in quickly.
Password Denied
"His birthday?"
Password Denied
We're both lost in thought for a while before we look at each other.
"Just Another Rather Very Intelligent System!"
Password Granted
Who is using this computer?
I type in my name and a video of Tony pops up.
"Bea, the only reason you should ever be using this computer is if the Avengers have been taken by some company or some shit." video Tony says, "I'm gonna guess Peter is with you too. Hey, Peter."
"Hi Mr Stark." Peter waves slightly.
"If you answered that don't tell me. Anyway. You don't know how to work the tracking system. If you put in your birthday it should bring up a menu on who you want to track. It should give you three options. Me, Peter and Steve. If you press me, you can find me immediately and I can help you find the others."
He continues on to brief me on where everything I should need is, and the video ends.
I click Tony's name and a red body shape appears on a map. I click "find location" and an address appears.
"He's across town. At the warehouse I was taken to when I was kidnapped."
"That means your darling kidnapper and ANTI are connected somehow."
"Or I was kidnapped by the man making the copies." I say, "What we really need to figure out is how we're going to get out of the building."
"You could freeze them, we walk past and get out of the door and I can web-swing us over to the warehouse."
"Good plan. You're gonna need to make it fast. Freezing them for that long is gonna take some work." I admit.
"On it. Get on my back." he says.
"What? Why?"
"Do you want to put all your energy into making sure they don't kill us or walking?" he asks.
"Fair point."
We suddenly hear the door being busted down violently. Peter runs out, me on his back and I freeze them.
"Go!" I shout. The strain of holding them already starting to make a dent into my strength.
Before it was easier because the grass wasn't fighting against my willpower. To hold back seven unruly copies of the Avengers was a very different story.
Peter makes it outside and web slings us away before I finally let go. I give a heavy sigh and relax as I trust Peter to get us to the warehouse.
-
We sneak inside and I see the guy who kidnapped me kick Tony in the forehead. I narrow my eyes. Glaring at him. We make sure neither of them see us. If Tony saw us, then kidnapper guy would too. And we don't know who else is in the room.
"Can't you make it so everyone in the room is frozen?"
"Two flaws to that Pete," I say, "I can't see everyone and also, I would freeze Tony and we couldn't get him out."
"Okay. Plan B, I sneak into the room, and I'll see how many are there and where they are, then tell you so you can freeze them?"
"What about Tony?"
"Freeze them individually. Like you did with the Avengers' copies."
I shake my head, "What if I focus on Tony's restraints. They're metal. I could turn them to rust so he can break out."
"Okay. Then can you slow everyone in the room but Tony?" he asks
"Yeah. Good plan, Peter." I say, giving him a quiet high five. I concentrate on Tony's chain restraints and rust them until they're brittle. His hands fall out then I focus my power on slowing everybody in the room but Tony.
"Mr Stark! Get out of there, now!" Peter yells. Tony runs across the room and slams a button to close them all in. Then he gets out. Peter lifts me up onto his back again and I focus my power on slowing them until I can't anymore.
By the time I release them, we've exited the building and got a few feet away.
"How the hell did you find me?"
"I used your tracking system on your computer." I say, slightly out of breath.
"You hacked into my computer, used my program to find me, then used literally all of your power on rescuing me?" he asks
"Well, yeah. Who else was I supposed to find? Peter, the one standing right next to me?"
"Mr Stark, you run the system. If anyone knew how to find the others, it'd be you." Peter says.
"Wait, what happened? The last thing I remember is being taken here by Thor?"
"Fake Thor. The copies have made themselves look like the Avengers. They almost got us if it weren't for the fact that Bea here realised that it wasn't you guys."
"How'd you know?"
"He called us kiddos." I state, "If it was really you, you would have said 'Spiderboy and Time Witch'."
"Wow. I've only known you for five months and I'm already programmed into your brain. Sweet." he says sarcastically.
"We need to get out of here." I say
"I can only carry one person."
"Bea, the armour?" Tony says, "It's fixed up. You can summon it."
"Oh yeah, right." I fling my arm out and I watch as Tony's suit comes flying at him. The pieces all connect firmly to his body, and my arm piece arrives, clinging to my arms, legs and chest.
When we're fully suited, we all get away as fast as possible.
"Do we know where the others are?" Tony asks
"We might be able to find Steve. We'd have to fight our way to the computer though." I say.
"Mr Stark, could you download the location of them into your suit from the computer if we can hold off the copies?"
"Yeah, but it'd take a while. Can you hold them off for ten minutes at least?" he asks.
I bite my lip.
"I can freeze them for five at max. I can slow them for eight. You got yourself around fifteen minutes."
We land at the building and my suit retreats, forming itself into the helmet.
"If you press this button;" Tony points to a small button on the back of the head, "It'll transform back into the suit around your body."
We go inside and I set the helmet down on a table by the door. I put my hair up into a messy ponytail, preparing for the power I'll have to use.
We get in the room and look around slowly for the copied Avengers. I'm suddenly tackled by "Clint" who pulls an arrow on me. I freeze him before he can shoot.
"Wait- is that real Clint or fake Clint? And how would we know?" Tony asks, "Peter, web him."
Peter webs his ankles to the floor, takes the bow from him, and moves his hands so they're able to be web-cuffed together.
I unfreeze him.
"Hey, give that back!" Clint shouts trying to grab his bow from Peter, "Wait, who the hell are you anyway?"
He looks as me and Peter curiously, then looks to Tony, "Wait, is this real Tony or fake Tony?"
"I'm gonna guess this is real Clint." Tony says. I take my daggers and slit Peter's webs away from his wrists and ankles.
"Tony, who are these twerps?"
"That's Bea, not a twerp, my daughter now but meh," he says, dismissing the comment, "That's Peter, he's Spiderman. Probably a twerp, not really sure yet."
"Hey. I'm better than her." Peter mutters.
"That's enough outta you." I say, smacking his arm.
"Wait, I know I've been gone a while, but when I left you did not have a kid?"
"Adopted." Tony and I say in unison.
"Long story short, we have a group of bad guys called ANTI who can make themselves look like anyone they wish using really advanced nano technology." Tony explains. "We need to stop them, right now they've replicated the Avengers."
"I got that part." he says, "Where are the real ones?"
"Dunno. That's why we came here. So Mr Stark can download it into his suit so we can find them." Peter says
"Who are the fake ones?"
"Literally anybody." I say.
Peter shoots a web on our shoulders.
"Hey!" Clint and Tony shout.
"It's so we can tell who's who." Peter explains, "Better than saying a code word every time someone walks on the room."
We shrug. Tony goes over and starts to download everything. Around fifteen minutes later its done.
"Okay, Steve's first. Then we can go in order."
"Why Steve?" Clint asks
"He's the closest. And we need a better plan." I shrug.
"Well then, Peter, Bea, get your asses over here."
We walk over and he taps our soldiers as if he's knighting us with his fingers.
"Welcome to the Avengers, Time Witch and Spiderman."
