Valentines Day (HarryxRobin)
Robin put the finishing touches on the colourful piece of paper, and slipped it into a pale blue envelope. It was February 14th, also known as Valentines Day (or in Robin's case most of the time, Continuous Lamenting and Melancholy Day). But today, he wanted things to be different. No more sulking to himself in the lonely peace of his room, no more being sad over something he thought would never happen. Today he was going to be different, because he was finally going to tell Harry that he liked him.
The green haired male sealed the envelope, and wrote Harry's name in his neat handwriting.
Robin had been living with Harry for 2 years now, but their friendship goes way back. He met Harry, and the little ball of energy named Manny in school, when he was about 13 years of age. Manny had always been the most positive of the two, even when he lost his mother in a fire. Since Roy (Manny's Dad) was not willing to care for Manny anymore, he moved in with Harry who happened to live alone at the time.
By the time Robin was 15, his sister allowed him to move in with the 18 year old Harry, and 13 year old Manny.
These two years have been the most fun, yet the most strange years of his life. He had met many people, and seen many things, including slightly homocidal inanimate objects.
This didn't stop Robin from developing a hopeless crush on the red head.
His plan was to put the card in Harry's room for him to read later when he got home from work. Surely it would be safe there.
The ink from the pen had somehow splattered all over the envelope. The male crinkled his nose in disgust. He hadn't noticed how hard he was pressing. He would have to get a new envelope now, since he wanted this card to be absolutely perfect for Harry.
Robin sighed, exiting his room and walking downstairs with the messy envelope in one hand, and the card in the other.
Suddenly, he was knocked down with incredible force, knocking him to the floor and sending the articles flying.
"HAPPY VALENTINES DAY ROBIN!" Exclaimed the happy looking, navy headed boy.
Robin squeaked. "Ah! H-Happy Valentines Day Manny. Now could you please get off of me so I could-"
He was cut off by Manny smacking a heart shaped sticker on his forehead, and kissing him violently all over the face.
Robin giggled "Manny! Oh my gosh stop, that tickles!!!"
The 15 year old chuckled loudly, then glanced over at the card that had landed on the floor.
"Hey, what's that?" He asked, reaching out to grab it.
Robin's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't told anybody about his crush on Harry, and he certainly wouldn't tell Manny. The boy was sort of a loud mouth. If he found out Robin's secret he would blab it out to the whole world.
He quickly rolled over, pinning Manny to the ground. Manny giggled innocently, and squirmed under the weight of the other male. "Robin let me gooo!!~" he begged.
Robin shook his head, and started to tickle his friend until he was sore in the sides. While he was distracted, he swiftly grabbed the card and let Manny go.
He stood up, brushing himself off as if nothing had happened.
Manny sat up, still curious as to what the card was about, and who it was for. "Who's that card for Robin? Your giiiirl frieeeend?~" he teased, green eyes sparkling deviantly.
Robin huffed "I do not have a girlfriend!!"
Manny snorted and stood up "who's it for then?! And why can't I see it?!" He reached for the card in Robin's hand.
"Because, it's none of your business!" Robin pushed the boy back gently, and held the card just out of reach.
Manny huffed, jumping and snagging the card from the other male's hand.
"HEY!" He yelled, "Give that back!"
But it was already too late. Manny had ran off upstairs with the card for Harry, laughing hysterically. "Catch me if you caaaan!~" he shouted over his shoulder.
Robin had to choice but go chasing after the blue headed boy. He ran up the stairs, looking around for any signs of him. Where did he go? Manny sure was swift.
"Manny?!" Called Robin. "MANNY THIS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE!" He shouted, the worry evident in his voice.
A burst of laughter came from inside the boy's room.
Robin marched into the bed room, only for Manny to push him out of the way, and bolt down the stairs again.
"YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HARRY?!?!" He shouted as he reached the bottom of the flight.
Robin felt queasy. "WHY DID YOU READ IT?!" He screeched. He was lucky that Harry was out of the house, or else his whole plan would be ruined.
Manny ran into the kitchen, with Robin following not that far behind him.
"Manny," the male spoke roughly. It was clear to see that he was on the verge of a melt down. "This isn't a game. Give me the card."
Manny smirked mischievously, backing into the corner of the kitchen. "Why should I?!~"
"Because I ASKED FOR IT!!!" Yelled Robin. He dominated the shorter male into the corner, trying to pry the card from his hands.
Manny didn't look like it, but he was very strong. Inhumanly strong at that. He held onto that card like it was a cheque for a million dollars.
The decorative card split in two, and the two boys stumbled backwards.
Robin stared in wide eyes horror at his half of the ruined card.
Manny whimpered, and frowned. "Oh my gosh....I'm sorry Robin...." He mumbled, a blanket of guilt wrapping around him.
Robin's heart sank as he heard the door click. Harry was home.
"You guys! I'm home!" The tall red head walked into the kitchen holding two large teddy bears.
The two males stood in silence for a while, before Robin just burst out in tears. Seeing Robin this way made Manny feel even more horrible. He started crying as well.
Harry's eyes widened, and he set the stuffed animals down momentarily.
"You guys...what's wrong...?!" He asked in a concerned tone.
Manny ran into Harry's open arms, hugging him tightly. Harry wrapped his arms around the boy's small frame, and his blue eyes traveled over to the tearful Robin.
Tears ran down Robin's cheeks as he stared at the teased paper in his hands. He sobbed loudly, dropping the paper and hiding his face.

After Harry had calmed his crying friends down, he had handed them the teddy bears. Manny's was green, with a little Barrett, and Robin's was red, with a white heart stitched onto it.
Manny, happy with his gift returned the favour by slapping a heart sticker on Harry's forehead, and buried him in kisses.
Robin enjoyed his gift, but felt bad that he didn't have anything to give Harry.
Once Manny left the house to go hang out with his friend Lucy, Robin went back into the kitchen to pick up the wrecked card.
He entered the living room again, looking at the red head reading a book peacefully in his green chair.
"Harry..?" He spoke softly.
The man looked up at Robin. "Yes Robin...?"
Robin walked towards him, and handed him the shredded card, and the messy blue envelope.
"It's your gift....well...it was your gift..." He sighed and looked down at his feet, tears brimming in his eyes.
Harry picked up the card, and examined it curiously.
"Harry...I-I....I like you..." Robin stuttered, "and I have for a really long time now..."
The green haired male's cheeks flushed. "Y-You're an amazing person, and I don't know what I would do without you..." He sighed. "I know you probably don't feel the same way about me. I can't even give you a proper gift..."
Harry stared at the man I front of him, his cheeks almost as red as his hair. "Robin...you really feel that way about me...?" He asked.
Robin nodded, refusing to make any sort of eye contact.
Harry stood up and hugged the shorter man, causing him to squeak in surprise.
"...Robin, you're my best friend...! Of course I feel the same way! You're the best friend I could ever wish for! You're neat, you're organized, you're..."
Robin gazed up at Harry longingly.
Harry smiled softly. "You're unique. I wouldn't want anyone but you. Don't feel bad about the gift. Spending time with you will be just enough," he gently pecked Robin's cheek.
"Happy Valentines Day,"
