- "sailor's mouth" is a HUGE FUCKING UNDERSTATEMENT

- he swears all the fucking time and he knows every word in the book ; basically hes a fucking dictionary he even knows the meaning and all that shit

- favorite swear word : "shit" "shitty"

| nishinoya yuu

- he may look like an innocent smol but do not be fooled

- he was the goddamn reason tanaka began swearing

- is actually tamer than tanaka

- brags to hinata about how " the pupil [ tanaka ] has surpassed the teacher [ nishinoya ]" even tho profanity is a pointless skill

| tadashi yamaguchi

- says "what the heck" and "freaking"

- even then he only says those words around people hes comfortable with [ a.k.a tsukki ]

- he tried to say "fuck" once but he felt so impure afterwards he almost cried and he didnt get over it for like three days

| tsukishima kei

- moderate swearing

- usually only curses when hes alone

- has taken a liking to "asshole"

| hinata shoyo

- only says "damn"

- he only says "damn" when he makes a mistake or when he tries to express his awe verbally

- "nishinoya-senpai that was so damn cool! teach me that!" or something of the sort.

- usually calls kageyama out for cursing and sometimes tries to bring sugawara into the argument but suga just smiles

| kageyama tobio

- "dumbass" with an occasional side of "shit"

- those are legit the only swear words he say

- he said "fuck" once when he completely missed a serve but he muttered it bc a part of him felt guilty for saying something so vile

- doesnt actually swear that often 

- when he does swear though he shouts it out at full volume and my god kuroo is one loud motherfucker

- one time in the middle of class he dropped his pen so he ducked his head under the desk to retrieve and he ended up banging the back of his head against his desk ; he screamed "FUCK ME" 

- he got detention bc of that shit

- the word spread throughout the volleyball team like wildfire and they kept throwing sex jokes at kuroo for like a week

- even yaku joined in once

- kuroo was never able to live that down

- the only reason the volleyball team mysteriously never spoke about it again was because kuroo promised to buy them all food after practice for two weeks

| kozume kenma

- is actually very very vulgar

- like yamaguchi he only swears around people hes comfortable around [ a.k.a kuroo ]

- doesnt swear in public bc he doesnt want attention drawn to him

- usually swears when he plays video games. its just a constant stream of :

"are u fucking-"

"shit"

"aw fuck"

"goddamnit"

| taketora yamamoto

- just as bad as tanaka

- like at least 2 swear words per sentence

- yaku has lost all hope reforming him

- and my god if tanaka and yamamoto happen to cross paths-

"hey its you the dick with the abnormal face!"

"holy shit yeah i remember your spikes are fucking shit bro"

something like that.

| haiba lev

- at the beginning of the year he picked up the habit of swearing bc he thought it was cool

- yaku beat him into shape and now lev doesnt swear anymore

- back when he cursed, he liked the word : "cunt"

| yaku morisuke

- hes basically the team mom of nekomata

- is completely against any form of swearing

- gave up on yamamoto but has managed to change lev

- glares at kuroo whenever he swears in casual conversation ; kuroo pretends not to see it but he mysteriously stops cussing

- when hes feeling extra cheeky he greets everyone with a "hey beeeeeetch"  in that typical highschool female cheerleader drawl and with a slap to the butt

- iwaizumi is extra bitter on those days

- bc of bokuto hes become a fucking master of putting on his typical "end my suffering" deadpan 

- incredibly tolerant [ its a necessity when dealing with people like bokuto ]

- has no reason to swear but isnt against swearing either

- only swears to try and intensify his statement

"did you see that akAAshi? that was fucking amazing, right!?"

"yes bokuto-san"

"I fucking told ya! im the best!"
