"A package for me? I don't really get it." Primrose said, staring at the large box resting on the table. It had been a week since the ball in Britain and Isabella never left her mind for some godawful reason. They were resting in their house in Florida as she just woke up. "Just came in the mail. It also says it came from Springfield, Missouri." Replied Jane as she was fingering her knife that came out of her sleeve incase of something happened. "Should we open it, sister? It might contain our new mission!"

"Alright, sis. Get me the box cutter in the drawer."

She immediately got the box cutter from the drawer and handed it to Jane, who opened the blade and cut the tape covering the flaps of the package. After putting the cutter away, Primrose opened it and was confused. "Another large box?" She lifted it up and opened it, revealing a medium sized box and did what she did to the second largest box. In her hand was now a small box that seemed to be made out of deep yet rich burgundy velvet and tied with pretty golden ribbon. "I'll take this, Jane." She said simply and walked upstairs to her room, her light rose pink dress with simple lace swaying slightly side to side as her salmon colored flats clicked against the smooth wood.

Once she reached the door, she went inside and threw the door closed. She was now alone as she was holding the little box in her hand. Reaching for the golden ribbon, she untied it, letting it drop to the floor. She opened the little box and froze. Inside of it was a necklace, that much she knew.

She smiled as she clasped the necklace onto her neck, the white petals contrasting beautifully with her dress. Primrose noticed a message written on the inside that said: 'for my dear Eleanor, yours truly, Isabella' written in gold thread. "Well, Isabella.. this is certainly a very beautiful gift.." she whispered softly, fingering the white and blue primrose charm on her new necklace. She picked up a basket and went outside to the spring garden they both had. A soft breeze teased her hair as the smell of oranges and the salty seawater flowed through her nostrils.

She sighed softly, picking a few ripe snow peas before she felt like she wasn't alone. Moving her body until it was straight, she looked around carefully but didn't see anyone. She sighed once more and continued with her task. Soon, she had a basket filled with snow peas, spring onions, rhubarb, radishes, shallots, carrots, cherries, strawberries, and, apricots. Standing back straight, she walked back inside and looked at her sister with a small smile. "Looks like we got quite a harvest!" Jane joked as she giggled.

"Also.. nice necklace."

"Thank you! It was a gift from Isabella."

"The girl you danced with at the ball?"

"The very one! It provided a good cover for when we chased down that serial killer in Britain."

Jane sighed softly, knowing that Isabella really liked Primrose and she remembered that they both got each other's phone numbers after they danced. She turned the faucet as crisp yet cool water flowed down the wide mouth. Grabbing the snow peas, she carefully washed the soil off them as she was humming. It reminded her of memories long forgotten.. memories of when her parents were alive.. before Jeff killed them. She shivered with pure rage and hate for that man who slaughtered so many innocents as her emerald orbs were ablaze, reflecting the fire from which she was saved from!

After drying them, she placed them on a towel to rest while she got to work on the spring onions. That was then they heard the doorbell. "Coming!" She called out, quickly drying her hands off and going to the door. She opened it and stood face to face with a mailman who gave her a manila envelope and left. Primrose noticed a letter pinned to the front of the envelope and carefully removed it to read it.

'Dear, Primrose, I know I said you two needed a day off, but we have just received word of Homicidal Liu causing many kills in Iceland. Jane is needing a time off, so will you do this?'

Primrose smirked as she looked up in thought, knowing that Carmen Sandiego was there, plotting one of her infamous thefts. She closed the door behind her as she looked at Jane. "I got a solo mission from boss, sis." She said, handing La Femme Noir the note she got as the woman in black read the letter as she looked up at her. "Promise me you will be careful out there, Liu doesn't fuck around when it comes to his kills." Jane warned as the woman in white smiled. "I will. Plus, word around the grapevine is that Sandiego is also there, Planning one of her thefts that will take weeks for ACME to solve to figure out what she's after." She replied.

Jane knew about those thefts she would do and also knew that she was unpredictable, almost like a thunderstorm. But, ever since that night in Britain, Carmen had been acting.. strange, almost as if she had been penetrated by Cupid's arrow. She didn't know what to make of it, but she was pretty sure that Primrose was the same way, she just.. did not realize it. Primrose walked upstairs and sighed. She felt so weird after that night in Britain, the night she met Isabella.

Later that night, Primrose was looking up at the stars as a stray tear fell down her cheek. Out of all the people he could have gone after, why did Jeff have to kill their parents? She clutched the iron railing as guilt flooded her heart, now realizing she couldn't trust anyone other than Jane and Isabella.. she sighed softly, feeling her already broken heart shattering even more. She turned away and went into her bedroom.

Carmen hated seeing her this upset, she wanted to know 'what in the world happened to her first rose?' as seeing her in pain made her feel so horrible for her. That night, She made a promise:

She would not let anything like whatever happened to Primrose happen to her.. ever.
