Opening the door, Tsunade was greeted with nothing. That is, until she looked down. There were several white/pink cherry blossom petals. Tsunade's eyebrows furrowed in confusion because there weren't any cherry blossom trees on the outskirts of Konoha on this side. Tsunade looked around more to try to find where they may have come from and spotted a trail of blossoms going into the forest.

She sighed, knowing that it was Jiraiya's doing. Tsunade still smiled gently, knowing that he was trying to be romantic but cheesy as well. He always did know how to make her laugh, even if she was angry at the time. She made her way through the forest, following the petals after closing and locking her door.

Unfortunately it took her a good 15 minutes due to her heels. Sure, she was used to her ninja heeled shoes but, these were different, higher and thinner heels. As Tsunade gets closer to the designated spot that Jiraiya has chosen, Tsunade noticed more and more petals until a small whirlwind of Sakura petals swirled around her. Her eyes widened as the petals died down. What she saw... She couldn't find the words to describe.

Jiraiya was standing there, smiling at her. What surprised her the most was that Jiraiya was in a black suit. All Tsunade could do was stare, wide-eyed at her old teammate. The Toad Sage smirked slightly at her reaction, as well as the prominent blush on the Fifth Hokage's cheeks. His smirk changed into a gentle smile as he walked up to her though.

Taking Tsunade's hand, Jiraiya kisses it and leads her to the blanket that's laid down on the ground. Candles placed neatly around the blanket and there was a beautiful meal with wine placed on the blanket as well. Tsunade couldn't stop blushing.

'Did he really go through all this trouble just for a date?' Tsunade's thoughts were broken by Jiraiya leading her closer to the blanket to sit down.

"So... What do you think, Tsunade-hime?" Jiraiya asked softly, smiling as he began setting up their dinner.

Tsunade smiled, "It's beautiful... I can't remember the last time I've been on a date even close to this. Thank you for this Jiraiya... You old pervert." Lady Hokage gave a small laugh at the irritated face he gave her after calling him a pervert.

Jiraiya smiled at her, happy that she's already enjoying her time with him.

Throughout the entire night Tsunade and Jiraiya talked and talked, having a wonderful time.

As Jiraiya and Tsunade packed up, Jiraiya placed his hand on Tsunade's, "Hm? What is it?" Tsunade gave him a confused look.

Jiraiya smiled and got on one knee even though they were both already sitting on the ground. Still smiling, Jiraiya brings out a small velvet box and begins his small speech, "Tsunade... I know that we're not young adults anymore and that with us bring shinobi... We could die any day. We both know we're not invincible... And with knowing that... I want to spend everyday we have left, with you as my wife. Will you marry me Tsunade-hime?"

Staring wide-eyed, Tsunade begins to tear up before letting her tears go as she sprang to him, hugging Jiraiya tightly, "Yes Jiraiya... Of course!"

Smiling, Jiraiya hugs her back slipping the beautiful amber/yellow ring onto his fiances finger.

"I love you, Tsunade..."

"I love you too, Jiraiya.."
