~2 weeks later~

I wake up bright and early to visit Jessica again, just like I've been doing everyday for the past 2 weeks. The doctors told us the second day we visited that she should have woken up by now, but that something is keeping her in a coma.

Ian and I have given up on trying to get the demon out of my house. He comes with me every morning to visit Jessica.

I hear a piercing scream coming from the hallway as I'm getting dressed. I go out and I get a sense of daj'vu. The attic door is yet again open. I go up the ladder and see another body laying on the ground. I walk up to it and see it's my mom. I call for an ambulance and my dad, who's at work.

I wait for the ambulance and my dad to come. When they get here my dad and I follow behind the ambulance. We wait in the waiting room at the hospital for a few minutes then decide to visit Jessica.

She's still not awake, and now we have mom in the hospital too. "Dad did you know about the houses history?" I decide to ask him after a few minutes in silence.

"I learned about it recently. I tried to convince your mother to get a new house but she was adamant on staying here. And now all of this is happening." He turns toward me. "I'm sorry you and your sister had to go through this. As soon as your mother and sister get put of here we'll move."

"Dad I don't think that'll help. It might just follow us to the next house. Three of us will end up dead and one of us will end up in a mental institution. It's been happening for decades, it'll happen this time." I tell him.

"Don't lose hope yet Jade. This might just turn out ok." He says sitting back in his chair. I smile at him, hoping he believes it. I already gave up hope for this family living through this.
