2 months later

"How about this one?"

"It looks just like the last one I tried on"

"What about this one?"

"Natalia!" I shouted

"I'm sorry. It's just this is the first high school party you've been to and I want you to look really nice," Natalia apologized. She looked so genuine that I couldn't help but feel guilty for shouting at her. "No, I didn't mean to shout at you!" I said. "I only shouted because we've been at the mall for hours looking for something for me to wear and I'm just getting really tired". Natalia nodded and put the dress away.

"Well, maybe if you hadn't lost that arm wrestling game you wouldn't be in this situation," said Natalia. I gaped at her. It wasn't my fault Ash was cheating!

4 days ago

Rose handed me a drink as we all sat down to watch a movie. "What movie are we watching this time?" Indianna asked. "Personally I would love to watch Batman vs Superman," I answered. "Not that rubbish movie again," Ash rolled his eyes. "Excuse me?! I'll have you know that Batman vs Superman is an amazing movie!" I said. "Tell that to all the professional movie critics who said it was bad," Cecilia added in. "It may have it's ups and downs," I admitted "But I still love it". "Whatever. Why don't we watch Harry Potter?" Rose suggested.

"Yes please," Dallas chimed in.

"Nah. Never seen it, never want to," I said.

"Fine, how about....Jurassic World?" Megan asked.

"Yes!" we all approved.

Megan smiled and went to put it in.

"Guys we have a problem," Natalia said.

"What?" Ash asked. "There's only one muffin left," Natalia said. "Well who's gonna have it?" Indianna asked. "I feel like Kat should have it since we are staying at her house," Rose suggested. "Wait a minute, wait a minute. I brought them," Ash argued. Ash and I eyed each other up and down, trying to figure out the others weaknesses.

"I have an idea! What about a challenge," I said. "Whoever wins gets the last muffin". Ash considered this for a moment then finally made up his mind "Okay then. Arm wrestle?" he asked. "Arm wrestle," I confirmed. "But I have one more thing to ask," Ash said. "What?" I eyed him suspiciously. "IF I win, not only do I get the muffin BUT you have to go to the party that my friend is hosting this Saturday night," he smirked.

Sometimes I really want to punch him and his stupid smirks.

"Fine. I could beat you any day of the week," I scoffed.

"Dream on," he muttered underneath his breath.

Current day

"Hey, we all know he cheated in that game. He was bending his wrist. You aren't meant to do that in arm wrestling!"

"That doesn't matter anymore! You lost the bet so now you must face the consequences"

"Fine," I huffed.

We shopped for another 30 minutes until Natalia finally gave up.

"That's it! You're impossible. You don't like anything that I suggest at all," she complained. "I'm sorry that we have different taste in clothing," I say.

I walk over to a nice, cute and simple white dress and pick it out of the clothing rack. "What about this one? It's cute". "But it's so plain. If you want your first party to be memorable, you need something hot. Plus, don't you want to impress your boyfriend Cody?" she smirks.

I blush. I guess she's right. Cody and I have been going out for about 1 month and a bit now. He has never seen me wear something that makes me stand out or look hot. I do want to impress him.

"I know, I know but I don't want him to just like be because of my looks. I want him to like me for me"

Natalia sighs. "Fine. Try that one on, but that's the last dress for today. Yes, the party is tonight but if we can't find anything, you can just borrow one of my dresses," she suggest. "Thank you!" I hug her and run to the changing rooms.

I put on the dress and walk out of the stall, waiting for Natalia's response.

Natalia gapes at me. "It's amazing! It shows off your curves and it even goes really well with your hair. Plus the little bit of lace makes it a bit sexy I guess"

I squeal and hug Natalia once again. "Thanks. Let me just get changed and buy it then we can head off," I say. "Cool. I'll meet you outside," Natalia says.

I head back into the stall and get changed back into my jeans and t-shirt. Once I'm done, I walk over to the counter to pay for it when I see a very familiar figure standing near some racks of dresses.

"Hey stranger," I say as I walk up to him.

Cody turns his head. He looks caught off guard but he quickly recovers it and smiles. He then kisses me on the lips and once again I get butterflies in my stomach. Why does he do this to me?

"Hey butterfly," he says. "What're you doing here?" he asks.

"Well, I'm shopping for that party I told you about," I answer his question. "It's tonight remember?" I add. "Of course. How could I forget," he laughs.

"What're you doing here? You know this is a dress store. Hallensteins Brothers is over there," I say pointing to a shop on the other side of the mall. Cody scratches his head. "Umm, y-yeah well, ummm," he stutters. I look at him questionably, waiting for an answer.

"My sister ordered a dress online and she wanted me to pick it up so, here I am," he explains.

I eye him suspiciously. He looks nervous.

"Oh, well that makes sense," I say slowly. "Um, well I've got to go and buy this dress. I'll see you tonight?" I ask. "Yup. 9pm sharp," he says, looking relieved. I nod and give him a quick peck on the lips.

We part our ways and I buy my dress. I walk up to Natalia and hook my arm into hers. "Took you long enough," she says. "Sorry, I just bumped into someone," I explain. "Well whoever it was, it doesn't matter. It's time to meet the girls and get ready for the party! This is going to be amazing!" Natalia beams. I smile back at her as we walk to her car.

Let's hope she's right

Okay, okay. I haven't updated in forever and I'm sorry about that. I always say I'm going to but then end up doing something else. This time since me and my friends are doing like a competition thing, I will be updating every Sunday!

Sorry if this chapter is rubbish. I couldn't think of anything to write and I have to go to bed now so I'm sort of rushing.
