Today was my date with Cody. 

I am such a nervous wreck it isn't even funny. Sure, I have been on dates before but they weren't even proper dates. Especially when you were only 8 or on a double date with a guy you strongly dislike. 

I have always been bad when it came to boys. I would stutter, I would start to ramble a lot and I would always get itchy around the neck when I was nervous but for some reason, none of that happened when I was with Cody. That's why I agreed to go on this date. I was eager to find out more about this boy and intrigued to know why I didn't become a nervous wreck around him. It could just be because I matured but I don't think that's possible for me. I may be 17 but my mental age is 3.

Cody didn't tell me where we were going, all he said was to meet where we first met which I presume is the Theater so I grabbed the first cute thing I saw in my wardrobe. A white off the shoulder summer dress. I also grabbed a simple silver heart necklace and a pair of white wedge heels to complete the look.

Satisfied, I took a warm shower, put on some black eyeliner, applied some mascara and added on some rose red lipstick. I then put on my dress, necklace and shoes, said a quick goodbye to mum and headed out to Ash's car, who was taking me to the theater. 

I entered Ash's car and turned my head to see an astonished looking Ash staring back at me. "What?" I asked. "Ah, n-nothing, it's just....wow," he breathed. I blushed and looked away, hoping he didn't see it. "Kat, you really look amazing," he told me. "It's just a summer dress. It's not like you've seen me wear stuff like this," I said, still looking the other way. "I know but you just look...," he started. I turned to look at him. "Never mind," He said, and started the engine turning out of my driveway. The rest of the drive was a bit awkward after that moment.

I climbed out of Ash's car, saying a good bye then walked off to the Theater. Looking for Cody, I took a seat on a bench. I looked around for the dark haired guy only to come face to face with him. I jumped back, startled. "You okay," he chuckled. I patted down my dress. "Yeah," I laughed. It took a moment for him to take in my appearance and when he did he looked happy. "Why are you smiling?" I asked him curiously. "I'm smiling because I'm just about to go on a date with the most beautiful girl I have ever seen". Once again I blushed. "Thanks," I squeaked. Cody laughed and took my hand in his. "Now, let's start our date,".

We ended up going to the most amazing park I had ever seen. There was a clear blue pond with black swans and white geese swimming. The trees were a stunning green and the grass was so soft, I could sleep in it. "Wow," I whispered in awe. "How come I have never seen or heard of this place," I asked, more to myself. "Maybe because you've been living under a rock," Cody chuckled. I playfully punched his arm, smiling. He then started to tickle me. Gasping for air, I got out of Cody's hold and ran off, him chasing after me. I was laughing too hard, my cheeks were hurting. 

I slowed down a bit to avoid bumping in to other people and Cody caught up to me. He tackled me to the ground and turned me over so he was on top of me. I stopped struggling and stared in to his chocolate brown eyes. He stared back. I don't know if it was me or my imagination but it looked like he was leaning in for a kiss until someone coughed. Cody and I sprung apart. A middle aged lady was looking at us with a disgusted look on her face while her 2 young kids were looking at us with curiosity. I smiled sheepishly and quickly walked off, dragging Cody with me. When the lady was out of earshot we burst out laughing, clutching each other's stomach. "You should have seen her face," I laughed. "I know right," Cody laughed.

"And without thinking I said 'I think you just fell for me' and I swear the entire bus applauded me," he chuckled. "That has to be the most cheesiest thing I have ever heard from someone," I smiled, taking a sip of my drink.

After the little incident at the park, Cody took me to a nice cafe, and let me just tell you, I have never had food better then the cafe's food. It was so mouthwatering you could have a orgasm from the food because it's that good. 

I took a bite of my hamburger and moaned. Seriously, it's that good. Cody was smiling at me weirdly and I was starting to think he was questioning my sanity. "What?" I ask. "I have never heard anyone moan because of food," he laughed. "Well, there's a first for everything," I chuckled. 

The rest of the date was us telling each other stupid stories. I obviously told him about the double date fiasco. He drove me home and we may have kissed just a little bit. Well, okay I might be lying and we full on made out. No tongues and it wasn't that heated. He told me he had a lot of fun and to be honest, I did too. He then asked if I would like to go out with him sometime. I agreed (who wouldn't) and we parted our ways. 

As soon as I walked through the door I got a text message from Rose.

I'm sorry I didn't have this up earlier. We had a power cut so I obviously didn't have any internet to upload the chapter and I was only half way through the chapter so yeah.....
