The next couple of days went by in a blur and it was now Saturday. I had soccer today so I was happy. I got out of bed, falling over in the process, and took a shower. I then brushed my short blonde hair and tied it up so it wouldn't get in my face while I'm running.

"Katherine, Ash is here to pick you up," my mum shouted from across the house. "Coming," I shouted back. I quickly put on my soccer uniform, grabbed my gear and ran to the door. Mum hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. "Bye sweetheart. Have fun," she said. "She will," Ash replied for me. I quickly gave mum another hug and headed out the door, Ash following behind. I hopped in Ash's car and we drove off. The first 5 mins of our journey was silent as I put on my gear.

"Who are you playing today?" Ash asked, glancing over at me. "You know the first team we played this year and we won?" I asked Ash. He nodded and I continued. "Yeah, apparently those points for winning didn't count so we are playing them again today"

Ash laughed. "I'm guessing you weren't so happy hearing that"

"You got that right. We better win otherwise I'm going to be even more pissed," I said.

We arrived at my soccer club and got out of the car. There were kids already playing their own games. I finally spotted our team training. "Well, I better go," said Ash. I turned to him and frowned. "Why? You always stay to watch my games."

"My dad needs some help in the workshop," he replied, slightly smiling. "How long are you going to be there? I was planning on going somewhere afterwards," I asked. "Not sure but I will text you when I'm done," he said.

He pulled me in for a hug and ran off. I ran down to my team, threw my gear bag on the ground and greeted Millie and Dallas. Our coach, Georgia, called us over as she told us who was playing where. I ended up being put in mid-defense.

The referee blew his whistle, showing that it was now the start of the game. We did our chant and jogged onto the field.

"Here comes the tickle monster!" Ash said, tickling my belly. I tried pushing him off me but failed. I started laughing uncontrollably. "Ash......please.....stop," I gasped for air.

Ash and I ended up at his house after our soccer game and it's safe to say we won! 3-0. Beat that Fencibles!

My face was turning red as he kept tickling me. "Ash, seriously. I'm feeling sick" His faced went from amused to worried in  seconds. "Kat, I'm sorry if I-" I lunged for him, landing on top of him, and started to hit him. "This is what you get for tickling me you rat," I laughed, amused at the look on his face. He grabbed my wrist, stopping them from doing any more damage. Why does he have to be stronger than me? "I like this position we're in," he winks and I groan.

I push myself off him and head to the kitchen. "I'm hungry, lets make something to eat," I suggested. "How about.......muffins?" I perked up at Ash's idea and quickly grabbed the ingredients. "What type? Chocolate? Vanilla? Strawberry?" I gasped "RAINBOW?!" Ash laughed. "Rainbow it is," he said.

We took our time making  the muffins and when they were done we halved them so he had 6 to decorate and I had 6. When we were both done, we took a step back and admired our master pieces. Mine had stars and all those girly decorations on while Ash's just had sprinkles. "Your so boring," I laughed and he laughed back. "Who cares. Nobody is going to see them," he said.
"True" I admitted. For the next 2 hours we watched a movie while stuffing our faces with muffins. They were so good I couldn't help but steal one of Ash's muffins. He didn't notice until after the movie. I was expecting him to tickle me but he just stared at me and said "I'll get you back for that" I rolled my eyes and checked the time. "Shit, I should go home now. Mum will be wondering where I am" I get up off the couch and grab my things. "You wanna come have dinner with us?" I asked and he nodded getting up.

We walked to my house which was literally not even a minute away from Ash's. I opened the door and dumped my stuff on the floor. "Mum, I'm home!" I shouted. Mum walked over to me. "How was your game. Did you win?" she asked and I nodded, smiling brightly. She smiled back and then started talking to Ash. I walked off, letting them have their own little conversation and spotted my little sister Emily on her computer. I crouched down so I could see her screen. "What ya watching?" I asked. She jumped at the sound of my voice and I chuckled. "Minecraft," she replied.
"You're still into that stuff?" I say. She sticks her tongue out at me as I did the same.

Ash and mum had finished talking so I grabbed his wrist and led him to my room. He closed the door and I sat down on my bed.
"So, what do you want to do?" he asked.
"Let's talk because there is nothing else to do," I replied. He sat down on my bed next to me and turned to face me.

"How has school been?" I ask him. "The usual. Boring and stupid," he shrugged. Then his face brightened. "I got a new girlfriend," he says.
"That's probably like the 10th one this year, and it's only May," I laugh and he joins in.
"I know but this girl is different, I can feel it. She definitely doesn't act like all the other sluts at school" I roll my eyes.
"You always say that and then look at how it turns out" Ash shakes his head.
"You're going to be wrong this time and I'll prove it," he said and I laughed even more.

"How has your school been? How are the girls?" he then asks me. I tell him about school. About all the detentions I have gotten and all the gossip about our group.
"So Thomas finally asked Rose out huh?" he says and I nod smiling. He then turns to look at me again. "What about you? Have you been asked out by any boys yet?" I shake my head and see a hint of relief in his eyes. I opened my mouth to say something but was interrupted by my bedroom door being opened. I turn my head to see Emily standing near the door.

"Dinner's ready," she says then heads out. "Race ya," I say as I jump off my bed. Ash chases after me and of course being the athletic boy he is, makes it before me.
