"Ah, I need to tell you something," Rib who was sitting on the sofa with you started a conversation. You were leaning against his firm body while holding his big hands.

Rib was your fiance. The love between you and him started to bloom when you entered college. After a year knowing and loving each other, you both then got engaged during the night of your birthday, which was a special day for you. He was a teacher at a nearby high school. Rib excelled in Mathematics and Science, making you adore him.

You didn't have anyone else except Rib that was important in your life. Your parents had passed away and you were the only child in the family.

"Eh? Where are you going?" You asked, looking at him.

"I need to go teaching for quite a long time,"

Upon hearing the last few words, your eyes grew wide. You quickly straightened your body up and looked at him.

"How long?"

"Maybe a year..." Rib replied calmly.

You were quite shocked. You held his hand tightly.

"W-when are you gonna go there?.." You asked, stuttering a bit.

"By the end of next week."

You held his hand tighter. You didn't want him to go.

Rib realized you were feeling sad and uneasy.

You felt his hands reaching your face. Slowly, Rib pulled you in his arms and kissed your lips softly before hugging you.

"I'm not gonna miss you," you mumbled while blushing.

"Aha? Is that so? Fine, I'm going back home then. No one's gonna miss me, right?" Rib replied, breaking up the hug and he started to pack his belongings. You panicked.

"W-wait!!... I... didn't mean.. it..." You quickly tugged the cardigan he was wearing while looking away from him.

Rib smirked. Without realizing, he pinned you down to the sofa. He slid your hair that was blocking your face behind your ear.

"___, I love you," Rib whispered to you. You were about to reply to him when he suddenly connected his lips with yours passionately. You coaxed his hair, not letting him go.

It was the day for Rib to depart, away from you, away from everything. Even he had to take a break from covering songs for a while.

It was hard for you to leave Rib. But then, you tried your best not to show that feeling in front of him.

"It's okay... A year would be fast, right? I'll be okay.." you thought to yourself.

You wanted to see him off, as you maybe would only be able to see him once in two months. You both headed to the train station. Rib brought a big bag and a napsack with him.

As Rib was about to abort the train, he suddenly heard loud sniffles. He turned around, finding that you were crying. You tried to control your sad feelings from overflowing, but you failed. You cried badly, having a heavy feeling in your chest, not wanting Rib to go.

Rib turned back to you. He tilted your head, making him see your crying face. He smiled sadly.

"Don't cry, ___! It's not cute when you cry.."

"B-but.. I would hardly be able to see you again.. I'm gonna miss you... So don't leave me here!!.." you cried and sobbed hard. You settled your head on Rib while holding the hem of his jacket. You could smell the cologne he wore, wanting him not to go more.

You looked at Rib. He looked at you sadly.

"I'm sorry.."

He lowered his body and kissed you. You wanted to kiss him more, because you already felt the lonely feeling surrounding you. You won't be able to see him, peck his cheeks and talk to him face to face like everyday.

Rib wiped the tears that were streaming down your face. He turned away from you and boarded the train. He turned back and waved goodbye to you while smiling weakly.

Slowly, the train started moving, leaving you alone at the station. You watched the train going by fast, slowly disappearing from your sight.

You walked home alone. Darkness started fading in as you arrived at your house.

"Welcome home, ___!" Rib turned to you, slowly walking towards you while smiling sweetly.

That was only your imagination. Your house was dark. There was not even a single soul there.

You were just too tired due to crying . You felt that your eyes were automatically closing. Quickly, you got yourself changed and went to bed.

You flipped your phone out and started texting to Rib before sleeping.

"Goodnight, Rib. I miss you."

2014 is ending in about more than a month. So I got an idea of a new story!
