Marinette was sitting at home doing her college work while on the phone with Alex.
"Marinette can I tell you something?" Said Alex over the phone. His tone sounded upset.
"Yeah what's up?" Asked Marinette, concern in her tone.
"Well uh....I have to move to America with my father" Alex said. No wonder his tone sounded so upset.
"What!? You can't move, Alex! We still have to graduate and open up the cafe of our dreams! You has to stay! I can't open the cafe without my partner!" Cried Marinette. She couldn't do this! She needed Alex with her! They were partners! How would they be friends if Alex was all the way in America!?
Alex sighed. "I know it's bad, but I'll try to convince my dad to stay. I have to go, bye Mari" He hung up. And sat on his bed, running a hand through his blonde hair and looking at a photo. "Mari..."
