Cynthia's POV

The fourth day of the games has already been started with a competition called the Naval Battle. It was where each participant of each team, are to enter inside the large water sphere where they have to push each other out. Juvia was more suited for this since she is a Water Mage which no one objected to. Lucy also joined in and that Minerva person from Sabertooth was even in this battle.

Another bad feeling was running through my thoughts and my stomach started to churn. Let's just hope its nothing too major. I noticed that all of the participants were all women except for the one guy from Quatro Puppy... the now new named guild, by Elfman.

So far the first one who got out was the guy from Quatro Puppy leaving him in last place. He was already done for since Jenny from Blue Pegasus kicked him right on his face. That's what you get for losing concentration. Juvia brought out her Second Origin and it was called... Gray-sama, love... which caused me to sweat drop at the name. The outcome of this attack was that she surprisingly kicked Jenny, Cheria, and Risley out at the same time. Out of no where Juvia was suddenly brought out of the water sphere but with no attacks.

"That idiot..." I heard Gajeel say who had his arms crossed while looking over to Juvia.

"Why? Was she not paying attention?" Mira said.

"It's weird how she got out...though." I said.

"Our lady is a mischievous one. With her magic, she should've been able to get them all out of the sphere in an instant." I heard a familiar voice.

I looked to see that it was no other than Sting who was leaning over the railing with his elbows supporting him as his hands were placed on top of his cheeks. He noticed me to stare at him and gave me one of his cheeky grins, making me to roll my eyes at him followed by a small smile tugging at my lips.

"She's already won this." Lector said in a cocky manner.

All who was left in the water sphere was Minerva and Lucy. The bitter feeling was starting to expand within me. Something bad was going to happen and I didn't like where this was going. The five-minute rule was now ticking and right now Minerva was attacking Lucy with a heat attack. Lucy was trying to counter back at Minerva but it seemed that she lost her keys. My gut was telling me right after all.

Lucy was now being attacked over and over but she never gave up until the emcee calls on the match to an end. Lucy was bleeding badly and she looked really wounded by Minerva's attacks. Just as Lucy was about to fall out from the sphere she was teleported back to Minerva and earned another attack. What the hell is wrong with this Minerva?! The match was over but she keeps on attacking Lucy over and over again!

"I don't like where this was going!" I said angrily as I clenched my fists.

"The match is already over!" Gajeel added.

Lucy was being beaten up over and over again. She was just breathing now. Why is this Minerva doing this to Lucy?! This wasn't fair! She's playing dirty. I growled at the sight in front of me but I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to see that it was Mira who was glaring at the scene.

"Stop!" I heard Natsu yell. I looked over to him who was really pissed and angry just as I was, and I turned to look at Sting who held a huge smugly grin on his face. That was it! Sting is allowing this to happen?! After what happened last night... He still acts like this? What a jerk! I thought he would slightly change because of his promise to Lector and me! Even though I didn't remember , this was no way on how he can aim for that promise.

I glared over to him with a menacing look and he looked slightly upset but still held on that cocky smile of his. Soon the referee has finally stopped the match, I sighed in relief but anger was still rising inside of me. Damn that Minerva woman!

She was now holding onto Lucy's neck outside of the water sphere and carelessly dropped her onto the floor, but not before Natsu and Gray rushed to catch her before she can get even more hurt. I jumped out from the booth and ran over to where the now unconscious Lucy lying on the ground near Natsu and Gray. Soon Erza and Wendy came running right behind me, even Juvia and Cheria came running to Lucy's aid.

"What are you staring at?" Minerva smiled.

Wendy and Cheria are working together to help heal Lucy now and I even came to help with the healing process, even though it wasn't my strongest magic but still! I had to help save Lucy! I knelt down and ran my hand through her hair for comfort as I used my other hand to use my healing magic. Wendy and Cheria looked over to me with worried expressions, as I was really upset and disappointed at Sting but beyond pissed at Minerva.

"I asked you, what are you looking at? I acted within the rules of the competition." the mage said.

"Rules, you say? You mean torturing an opponent who's already lost?" Erza said, taking a few steps towards her.

"The crowd ate it up, didn't they? Lucy should be grateful. I let her be in second place.Even though the girl is a useless piece of garbage..." she mocked.

This really ticked me off. I got up with my hands held in fists and walked beside with Natsu and Gray to stand right beside Erza and in front of Minerva.

"What?!" Natsu barked.

"Lucy is not a useless or garbage! You take that back Minerva..." I gritted my teeth while glaring her down.

Suddenly, the rest of Sabertooth were in front of us, except for Rogue. I saw Sting who had his cocky smile and looked ready to throw a punch. His eyes looked troubled, sorrow, shameful, but with pride... Why was he doing doing?! Does he not know what comrades mean?! Doesn't he know how Minerva is actually stupid and unfair on how she treated Lucy?!

Many questions were running through my mind. I darkened my look at him which he seemed to have slightly flinched. The crowd was now cheering and they seemed to be hopeful that we would fight against Sabertooth, right here and right now. Now we were having a staring competition, to see who would latch the first attack. Sting took a step forward which me and Natsu took one as well but we were stopped by Erza who blocked us with sticking her arm out.

"I don't care if you're the strongest or number one in Fiore, I'll just tell you one thing. You people... have made an enemy out of the one guild you don't want to anger." Erza declared. I was the first to walk out but before I could, I slightly turned back to look at Sting who stared back with that cocky smile which really made me upset.

"Sting... I thought you said something meaningful before... hours ago... But I guess not. I'm really disappointed in you." I hissed and turned away from him so I could walk towards Lucy who was still in Wendy's and Cheria's care.

Here we were in the infirmary with both teams of Fairy Tail A and B for Lucy, hoping that she would be okay and safe. I was standing next to Erza glancing worried looks on my friend who was severely beaten and took many critical hits by Minerva. Just thinking about that Sabertooth woman makes me infuriated! Thanks to Wendy's, Cheria's and my Healing Magic that we performed, Lucy's life isn't in danger which made me really happy about the news. But I still did not like the idea of how much bandages she's wrapped it. All it matters is that she safe.

"Those bastards..." Natsu said who was sitting on a stool near the end of Lucy's bed.

"I know what you wanna say..." Laxus said.

After he said that, Lucy stirred up at that moment and looked so sad and upset about what happened earlier. It wasn't her fault. It was that Minerva that I would want to blame... those Sabertooth members!... Sting.

"I blew it again..." Lucy muttered as she lifted her bed sheets over her face.

"What are you talking about?! We took second place thanks to you, Lucy!" Gray remarked trying to cheer her up.

"We got eight points!" Wendy added.

"Yeah. You did very well." Erza smiled.

"You were great out there Lucy-chan! So you don't have to say sorry!" I reassured as she turned to stare at me then to everyone.

"My keys..." she said worriedly.

"Here they are." Happy piped up, carried the brown pouch carrying her Celestial keys.

"Thank goodness! Thank you!" She cried as she hugged her keys and soon fell asleep. Soon the door was opened revealing Master who walked in and had a serious look on his face. I wonder what's got into him.

"A team, B team... You're all here? Good." he said looking at everyone.

"I'm not sure if this is good news or bad news.The administrators told me that teams A and B must combine." he added.

"What?!" Natsu barked.

"Teams A and B have to unite?" Laxus asked curiously.

"It doesn't sound too bad..." I softly said as Natsu looked over to me.

"The disqualification of Raven Tail brings the number of teams down to seven, and having an odd number doesn't work when it comes to matching up for the battle part. Therefore, both of our teams must become one and we have to choose the five members again."

"Choose five members?" Titania says.

"What about our points?" Carla said.

"Apparently, the lower score will carry over. In other words, A team's 35 points..." Master intervened.

"How cruel!" Happy said.

"It doesn't seem to be that fair though..." I sighed in frustration.

"I know... I thought about it like that too, but we can't do anything about it." Master looked over to me.

"I'm definitely gonna get revenge for Lucy! I ain't gonna let 'em get away with laughin' at one of our own!" Natsu stood up as he clenched both his jaw and hands. I looked over to him with determined look. We won't let them get away with this at all.

Not even you Sting.

The third match for today is going to be Sabertooth vs Fairy Tail. I'm feeling really excited and hyped up to see how it would go. Especially with the new formed Fairy Tail Team that we combined our members with. This was going to be one heck of a day. I couldn't wait!"And now, here comes the new Fairy Tail team!" Chapati announced.

"This really is the strongest team, right?" Mira said enthusiastically beside me. We were now standing in our booth with the rest of Fairy Tail, waiting for the long arrival of our very new team for the games.

"This is an awesome team!" Cana grinned.

"I can't even picture these members failing." Juvia said.

"The strongest team, huh? " I softly whispered and smirked at the entryway where the new team would be coming out.

At the center of the arena was the other six teams. I held my gaze at Sting for a little. Something really bothered me. Why did his eyes held different emotions earlier? Did he regret on not doing anything? Or was he doing because he wanted to look strong and act like a tough in front of his guild? Being rebellious didn't seem to be helping him well. It was really irritating me again. I looked over to where Lector and Frosch were, and saw that they gave me small waves which I returned a wave back.

My attention went back to the entryway where the new formed team that would come out from and noticed that the whole audience the whole arena were cheering and yelling in excitement. The whole stadium was shaking in thrills and it made goosebumps to crawl on my skin. This was going to be one heck of a day, I smiled.

There they were. The five members of the new Team Fairy Tail. Laxus, Gajeel, Natsu, Erza and Gray! All standing there within a line with serious looks on their faces, but with confidence and an impulsive aura around them. To be honest, I wanted to participate in it as well but I don't seem to mind it anymore. I wanted to cheer them on, more than ever! And at least I got to participate in the games at least once. It made me feel like I really belonged with those who treat you like an actual family. There would always be a next year for the games, so why bother to be upset, right?
