I woke up in my room. 

   " What happened?"

   " You fell asleep crying."

I looked and seen Laurence sitting beside the bed.

   " Oh well thank you."

   " Not a problem, but Y/n I feel really worried."

   " Why?"

Now I was sitting up.

   " Your sleeping pattern changed."

   " What?"

   " When we were coming here you slept like the rest of us the first night. Then the second night when I found you and Garroth you slept a lot longer. Now you've slept for hours. Your sleeping pattern is becoming longer."

   " You think it could be because of the curse?"

   " Maybe. Your birthday is next month."

   " You remembered."

   " Of course I would remember. Why wouldn't I?"

I chuckled.

   " I feel like I'm saying 'thank you Laurence' to much now."

   " Cause you are."

   " I wonder what it'll be like you know to be frozen."

   " I don't know and I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen."

   " Laurence the little witch said I had to find true love. That's not easy."

   " I know, b-but-"

   " There are no more buts Laurence I've almost run out of time. There's no way I can find True love in the time I ha-"

Laurence silenced me. I was surprised at his actions. He was

kissing me. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him back. He wrapped one of his arms around my waist and used his other hand to hold the right side of my cheek, and tilting my head deepening the kiss. The kiss was sweet and gentle. Then he pulled away still holding me. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. We were both a blushing mess.

   " Y/n I love you."

   " L-Laurence..."

   " I........Y/n when I seen that you left to save us from war I was devastated. I couldn't let you marry Z-Zane. So I went to find you on my own. When I seen that he stole your first kiss I couldn't handle it I was ready to kill him, but you calmed me down. Your the only one that's able to calm me down and not let my shadow knight form come out-"

   " S-Shadow Knight!?"

   " No it's not what you think."
 
   " Bu-"

   " I was forced against my will Y/n I would never willingly kill a lord or anyone else."

   " O-Okay."

   " Then when I learned you were kidnapped by slave traders I didn't know what to do." I couldn't sleep for days. I couldn't eat or even do my job as a guard. Cause I was out looking for you. I went to village to town to kingdoms to find you Y/n. I was so happy to see you again. I don't want to lose the one I love again. Especially not to a curse."

I could see a few tears leave his eyes. I wiped them away and held his face in my hands.

   " I could tell Aaron and Garroth liked you too. So I waited for them since there my friends. Garroth is like a brother. But I couldn't wait anymore. I just..."

He laid his head on mine and I looked into his eyes.

   " I couldn't wait any longer to tell you I love you, especially with the curse coming closer. I don't want to lose you."

Then he kissed me again. It was harder. Like I was his last life line. Like he couldn't let me go. Then he pulled away and stood up.

   " I know you may not love me back, but think about it."

I nodded and he left the room. I touched my lips and shook my head trying to make the blush leave. I stood up and decided to get changed into some different clothes.
