Susie's Pov

 "You WHAT!? Oh my god. This is bad. Susie, I need to clarify. when you came into school with the black eye, that was your dad, right?" I was very glad the park was empty.

"Y-yeah... Why are you freaking out so badly? I've been dealing with him my entire life, I can take this-"

"Susie, he probably called the police. Officer Undyne is probably convinced that either you've been kidnapped or you ran away. Either way, she will find you." My face paled.

"Oh my god... I'm a fucking idiot, Jesus Christ!" I realized what it would mean if Kris got caught around me. Either they would look like they kidnapped me, or my dad would actually slaughter them in cold blood.

"Kris, you have to leave."

"What!? No, I need to help you-"

"Think about it- how bad will it look of you're around me when I get caught? Don't you think it would be better for you to be looking for me, seeing as you're my friend? I mean, not expressing concern is incriminating. You seriously need to go." I watched them try to find a reason to stay, but they couldn't. 

"Alright- But when they find you, I need you to tell them what your dad does. It's not okay, and you don't deserve it. I've been a bad...whatever it is I am to you by letting this happen for so long. You need to tell them." I froze.

How could they just ask me to do that? Did they know how hard it was to admit that to myself? How could I do it just like that?

"Susie, promise me!"

"I promise." I said reluctantly. I didn't know if I was going to be able to keep that promise.

Seemingly satisfied, Kris ran towards the entrance of the park. I panicked. What was I supposed to do?! Hide? Turn myself in? I decided to run into the trees and panic some more.
