Susie's Pov

A loud knock sounded on the door. I panicked and brushed my hair into my face to hide my eyes once more.

"What the... Who on earth-" Kris began. They went to answer the door. In the doorway stood none other than the famed Asriel Dreemurr, pride of Hometown.

"Hey, Krissy! Where's mom- Who the hell is that?" He looked directly at me. I gave him a quick two-fingered wave and started fidgeting with the zipper of my new coat.

"Azzy, this is Susie."

"Ohhh, the druggie's kid. Seriously? She's your girlfriend?" My head shot up. 

"Excuse me, bitch? Did you just call me "The druggie's kid"? I'll bite your face off- WAIT, WHAT DID YOU SAY I WAS!?"

"Susie, please calm down. Azzy, family is sort of a... sensitive topic with Susie. Also, no, she is not my girlfriend."

"Oh really? Then why'd you look like you just got cockblocked when you answered the door, little dude?"

I was ready to slap this guy's face off. Who did he think he was?

"...Asriel. I've told you this a million times. I'm not a male. Please do not use terms such as "cockblocked" towards me." Asriel's face paled somehow, even though it was already white.

"Wait, really? You've told this guy that many times and he doesn't care to remember!? That's fucked up!" I turned to Asriel. "Are you serious? You're supposed to be their older brother, their role model, and you don't even care enough to respect their gender? What the hell is wrong with you?"

Toriel burst into the room. "What's going on!? I heard screaming!" 

"...Nothing-" Asriel began.

"Asriel! You didn't tell us you'd be coming for Christmas! You have no idea how much Kris has been looking forward to seeing you." She wrapped him in a ginormous hug.

"I... I think I gotta go-" Asriel burst from her arms and rushed out the door. I grunted.

Good riddance.

"What just happened? Why were people screaming?" Toriel asked, knowing her son would return later.

"Asriel made a rude remark about Susie's family life and she rightfully got upset." Kris explained.

"Yeah, except you're forgetting the part where he called you male." I snapped. I wasn't gonna let this go easily.

"It's really not a big deal..." they mumbled.

"Did he do that to you, Kris?" Toriel asked, deeply concerned. Kris nodded. She wrapped her arms around them. They started to cry.

"I'll be right back." Before anyone could stop me, I ran out to the streets to find Asriel.
