Ash's POV

I deeply blushed from her compliment even though she showed no emotion what so ever. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that she wasn't like this before...why though?

"W-W-What?!" Misty stammered as a vein popped on her head and a purple surrounded her as she was giving her the Misty look (It's more than a death look, it's the Misty death look)

She looked at her and yawned "If your trying to scare me you have to do better than that carrot head" she smirked "Oh that's it!!!!" Misty pounced at her once again, but like before she just pushed Misty aside and didn't even bother looking at her.

"Miss we're here" one of her gaurds said. We all exited the van and what we saw was truly incredible "Woah! What a mansion!" We all exclaimed, she walked infront of us and we followed behind.

One of her gaurds went beside us and says "Sorry if she's acting so grumpy you see she wasn't like this before" We all tilted our heads "What made her change?" Dawn asked "It's best if she told you guys, but I'm afraid you have to gain her trust first" We nodded and looked at her, she was just walking on ahead not caring about what we are talking about. What happened?

I walk on ahead and stood beside her, she looks at me with a glare, yet it wasn't as intense like Misty's.

"What do you want?" She asked coldly "I'm Ash by the way, what's yours?" I asked "It's none of your business" she said man, talk about cold as ice "Com'on if we're gonna live here you can atleast tell us your name" I pouted, she slightly smiled but immediately put another emotionless face "It's Serena....Yvonne" I smiled "There you go!" I smiled, she looked away and I laughed nervously.

At least I now know her name, Serena Yvonne....what a cute name.

I backed up and met up with the others "So what did you talk about?" Gary asked "I asked what was her name and she said her name is Serena Yvonne" I said "Well atleast she's now telling us a little about her right?" We all nodded and ran towards Serena who was about to enter the mansion.

"Welcome, I guess" she muttered and her gaurds opened the door revealing an indoor swimming pool?! Serena walked inside and looked at us "What? You don't have this inside your houses?" We all shook our heads "Well you can swim if you want, I never liked swimming anyway. If you need anything talk to my Yvelts they will give you anything you need" She said, we nodded and entered the building.

Her Yvelts looked at us with a welcoming smile "Welcome!" They all exclaimed, I feel so safe around here despite it's a house full of gangsters.

Two of her gang showed us our room, and once we opened the door our jaws dropped. The room was bigger than our houses combined! This girl is freaking rich, or maybe even the richest person in the world!

Well all unpacked and called which is our beds. After that someone knocked on the door, I opened it and it was the same guy who told us about the Serena thing.

"Hi! What's your name?" I asked "I'm Zaldy" he said "Well what's wrong?" Gary asked "Miss wants to see you in her room right now, I can show you where it is so you won't get lost" We nodded and followed him to her room.

We arrived infront of her room and it was..something. The door was alot girly from the fact she doesn't look like one well...yeah she's pretty cute and all, but she acts more of a boy than a girl.

I knocked on the door and it revealed a girl with a red dress "Took you guys long enough" my jaw dropped while the others followed my action.

She raised an eyebrow "What? You haven't seen a girl in a red dress before? What about you carrot head?" Misty snaps "I AM NOT CARROT HEAD" I could see a slight smirk from Serena, I guess annoying people is a way to make her smile.

"Well come in" She stepped aside and we entered her room. After we all got in she closed the door immediately and sat on a chair near a desk.

"I'll tell you about why you guys are being kept here" She said emotionlessly once again. "But before that one of your gangsters told us that you weren't like this before, why though?" Her eyes widened for a moment, but she recovered from it instantly "If I tell you then you have to agree why we need to protect you deal?" We nodded, she sighed "It's a long story, bu-" she got cut off as several gunshots were heard from outside.

"Stay in here!" She instructed, Serena bolted towards the entrance of the mansion as we stayed there thinking why did she changed?

Serena's POV

Crap they're here, I can't let them take them or else I'm dead when my parents finds out about it.

I ran towards the exit, but I was instantly shot by a bullet "Crap!" I hissed in pain "Well, Well, Look who turned into a girl, or should I say who turned back into the same person 2 years ago" Miette smirked, I gritted my teeth and shot her a death glare "You took him away from me" I growled at her "No, he chose me" she fired another one, but luckily I dodged it in time "I'm impress, your in a dress, but you can still dodge bullets" I chuckled "I'm not the same person I used to be Miette" She glared at me "Which means you will keep on fighting until you get what you want" I laughed "Hah! I've had enough of his shit! You can have him if you want! I have someone I grew interest on anyway" she shot another bullet, but I dodged it once again "What? You feeling frustrated, because I don't care about him anymore?" She gritted her teeth "Xerneas clan fire!" She commanded, but little did she know I was just a diversion.

She turned around and saw her gang all injured and was tied up. "You dirty cheater!" She hissed "Who said there were rules for this?" I teased "You will pay for this Yvonne!" She said and retreated back.

I waved goodbye and fell to the ground "Miss!" Steve ran towards me and knelt down trying to examine my wound "It's a good thing it wasn't deep" he sighed "Thanks for the help Steve your a great friend" I smiled "M-Miss?! That sm-smile" he stammered "Calm down! Remember I have to gain their trust, so I'm just doing this to get what we need" I explained as I stood up and went back to my room while holding my left arm which was bleeding badly. Good thing I bought a first aid kit and kept it in my drawer just for emergencies.

I entered my room and they all gasped "What happened?!" Carrot head asked "It's nothing just a mere problem that's all" I said trying to avoid the subject, I opened my drawer and grabbed the first aid kit. I removed the bullet and wrapped it around my arm.

"So you gonna tell us?" I looked at Ash, he seems so calm at situations like this even though judging by his looks he's one of them called normal.

"I tell you about it I guess...."

Flashback

"Hey Sere!" A boy with a blue sweatsuit called, I turned around and saw Calem my fist love "Hey Calem! I thought you were going to the fair with your friend?" I tilted my head "Well I wanted to see you first" I blushed "Awwwww your so sweet~" I smiled "I love that smile of yours" he whispered "And I love that face of yours" I said as I leaned in and kissed him on the cheek.

"And your kisses" he smiled, I giggled and gave him a warm hug "Anyway you should go your friend might get impatient and leave you behind" I said "Okie dokie sweetie pie" he said as he gave me a goodbye kiss

After that I went to the mall to look at the new clothes that just got there. I managed to buy 6 total dresses and 5 t-shirts and 4 hats.

As I continued on walking I saw Calem with a...girl?! Wait..that's MIETTE!

"I had so much fun! Thanks babe!" Miette said as she kissed him on the lips "Yeah me too" she said, I walked up to them and punched Calem in the face "You dirty cheater!" I growled as I ran away with tears running down my face

I arrived at the mansion and locked myself in my room.

Ever since then I never believed in love..or friends. Who needs love anyway? When you have yourself?

End of Flashback

"That's about it" everyone looked at me with pity "What?" I raised an eyebrow "That guy is a jerk!" Ash exclaimed "Well you can't change the past the only thing you can do is move on and look at the bright future. "

"And that's what I've been doing ever since. I don't care about love. I don't care about compassion. I don't care about anything. I just need myself and that's that"
