Pluem's P.O.V:

I took a deep breath then looked at Chimon's lawyer.

"So...Do you want to tell me about your relationship with mr Chimon?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

"He was my boyfriend" I said.

"How did you meet?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

"I was his senior we helped each other with studying" I said.

"So you're admitting that you dated him secretly?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

I nodded.

"Yes...We dated secretly" I said.

"You were a scholarship student in the college mr Chimon's father selected for him weren't you? Do you want to tell us why you stopped going out of the blue?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

This is it...

"My GPA dropped because I was going through a rough patch at the time...So I decided to drop out and started doing freelance jobs here and there" I said.

Chimon's lawyer nodded.

"But I was under the impression that your scholarship was revoked by the college chairman himself...What do you want to say to this?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

I looked at Chimon's father and sighed heavily then turned to Chimon's lawyer once again.

"It was revoked but not because that man asked the college chairman to keep me away from his son but because my GPA dropped...I'm not a brilliant student anyway so the scholarship should go to someone more deserving...The college chairman did the right thing" I said.

"Are you saying that the rumours about the college chairman cutting you off because that man told him are wrong?" Mr Ruangwiwat's lawyer asked.

"Yes...The rumours are baseless" I said.

"Then how come the college chairman said it himself that he cut your scholarship because of a political order from mr Ruangwiwat?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

"I don't know what to say to this but I said the truth to clear my conscious" I said.

"How do we know you're not lying?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

"Why would I lie?...Besides...If I wanted to lie I'd have said that the college chairman was forced to cut me off...This is my future after all...Do you know how difficult it is getting a scholarship? I lost it because I was careless I admit that...So if that man behind bars will face punishment because of a wrong testimony then I'd rather cut the problem from its roots" I said.

Mr Ruangwiwat's lawyer looked at me shocked as Chimon's lawyer frowned.

"So then...You're saying that mr Ruangwiwat didn't pressure you to break up with his son when he discovered your relationship?" Chimon's lawyer asked.

"He did pressure us...Hell he might have even went as far as killing him I don't know the truth for sure...But what I'm sure of is that he didn't have a hand in revoking my scholarship" I said.

"I'm done questioning the witness" Chimon's lawyer said.

Then I was allowed to leave so I walked out of the court room.

"With the current testimony the court will resume the case after further investigation" The judge said.

Then the meeting was adjourned.

(Meanwhile)

Milk's P.O.V:

"What the hell? Didn't the college chairman say in the questioning that he was asked to revoked the scholarship?" P'Jimmy asked.

"One of them is lying...Don't you think so too...Prim?" I asked.

"What? What's wrong with what I did? It failed but at least I got to see that man behind bars" Prim said angrily.

I sighed heavily and facepalmed.

"This is wrong" P'Jimmy said.

"And he was right for killing his son for his reputation? Is that what you want to say?" Prim asked P'Jimmy.

P'Jimmy pursed his lips into a thin line.

"To hell with his reputation...To hell with him and his wife...They chose their public image over their son" Prim said.

Then brushed her hair back.

"What's wrong with what I did huh? If he can hire someone to kill his own son then why can't I hire someone to frame him and put him behind bars? This is the least he deserves...P'Mon didn't do anything wrong" Prim said in tears.

"That still doesn't give you the right to do that...You played dirty...Who knows what would have happened if Pluem didn't act on his own?" P'Jimmy asked.

"It doesn't matter anymore...That man won't get what he deserves now" Prim said.

"Let's just wait and see what will happen...But you should stay out of it and let the police do their job ok?" I asked.

Prim didn't say anything.

"If you do anything then I'll report you to the police ok?" I asked.

She still didn't say anything.

"Ok?" I asked sternly.

"I won't make any promises" Prim said then left.

I sighed heavily and facepalmed.

"Let's just go to work" P'Jimmy said.

I nodded and went to change.

"Today is the day Nanon will go into coma" P'Jimmy said.

"Yeah" I said sighing heavily.

We still failed.

(Later that night)

Ohm's P.O.V:

I went to meet Nanon's parents at their house.

His sister opened the door and let me in.

"Take a seat nong" His mother said.

I sighed heavily and nodded then sat down.

"Thank you...I'm sorry I wasn't able to convince him" I said.

"It's alright nong...I didn't call you here to talk to you about my son" He said.

I frowned in confusion.

"I want you to have this" He said.

Then gave me an envelope.

I took the envelope and opened it.

"This is a check with ten million baht" He said.

I put it back.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"A thank you for taking care of my son...To you and your family...I hope you accept it" He said.

"I refuse" I said then stood up to leave.

"Ok ok...Wait...I really want to repay you...What do you want?" He asked.

"Just accept the money P'Ohm...The least you can do is take it as a compensation for the accident" Nanon's sister said.

"Ten million baht is too much" I said.

"How can we show our gratitude then?" Nanon's mother asked.

I pursed my lips into a thin line.

"I'd appreciate it if we don't talk about this again khun...I can't accept that money and I don't want any compensation" I said.

Nanon's mother sighed heavily and nodded.

"Then...I'll pay for your tuition abroad...You can pick any college of your choice and take whoever you want with you...If you still don't feel comfortable with it then...You can pay me back after you graduate and find a stable job" Nanon's father said.

I looked at the floor.

"I'll think about it" I said.

Then left the house.

P'Milk called me.

"Aren't you coming to the hospital? His parents said they wanted you to come" She said.

"I don't think I can come" I said.

"I understand...I'm sorry" She said.

I ruffled my hair and tried to stop myself from crying.

"Is he going to be ok?" I asked.

"I suppose so...I hope so" She said.

I went back to the house and rang the doorbell.

"Can you take me to the hospital?" I asked.

So I ended up going with them.

Bright and Tu and my parents and P'Milk were there when we arrived.

P'Jimmy went in with the other doctors.

"Wait...Can we talk to him first?" Bright asked.

P'Jimmy nodded.

The three of us sat down but I didn't say anything.

"You have to wake up again ok? You can't die after all this" Tu said.

Nanon smiled slightly.

"At least smile when you say this will you?" He asked.

"How can we smile?" She asked.

Nanon sighed heavily.

"I hope we meet again" He said.

"We will...You can't stay asleep for life" Bright said.

Then they hugged him.

"Ohm?" He asked.

I still didn't say anything though.

"I hope we meet again" He said.

I'm not sure that will happen.

But...

I took his hand in mine and kissed his forehead.

Then left the room.

(A month later)

Pluem's P.O.V:

I went to the graveyard and put the flowers down like usual.

But heard footsteps behind me so I turned and saw a tall guy with tan skin walking over with some flowers.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Ummm...I'm here on behalf of my friend...He was close to your boyfriend" He said.

Then put down the flowers.

"If that's the case then come often...Beside me and his sister...No one else visits Mon...So...It'd be nice if you come too" I said smiling.

"I'll see what I can do" He said.

Then left.

I sighed heavily and nodded then sat down next to the gravestone and brushed away the dust with my fingertips.

"The trail is over...Your father got his punishment...But...I really miss you" I said.

Then leaned my head on the gravestone and closed my eyes.

"I brought your favourite flowers" I said.

Then stood up and lit the incense and prayed.

"I'll be back soon" I said.

Then left.

(The next day)

Ohm's P.O.V:

It has been a month already.

Who would have thought?

My life wasn't back to normal.

If I could even call it normal anyway.

It was boring and monotonous.

Just like it was before I met Nanon.

I sat down with my parents for breakfast.

"Mum...Dad...I'm going to study abroad...I think...I have something I want to study" I said.

Yes...That decision will definitely help me get my mind off things.

"I made my decision...If I ever get a job...It has to be abroad I don't think I'm ever coming back to Thailand" I said.

The new semester starts in three days.

Enough time to make arrangements.

It's time to leave Thailand for good.
