Bright's P.O.V:

I went to college like usual.

It has been three weeks since Ohm left with Nanon and no news were heard from them eversince.

I wonder if I did the right thing helping them run.

I mean...Looking at the situation now Ohm's parents and Nanon's sister are so worried about them.

The police are investigating everyone so it won't be long until they get to me.

I sighed heavily and slumped my head on the desk.

Is it worth the trouble?

I closed my eyes and tried to imagine it...

If I was in Ohm's place and Tu was in Nanon's place...

Would I have taken her and ran away? Or ran away without her? Or stayed still and accepted the fact that we'll part ways eventually?

It must have been hard on Ohm because try as I might...

I can't see myself in his position.

The class was over before I knew it.

So I took my stuff and went to the music club room.

"What should we do now? The police visited my house last night" Tu said.

I sighed heavily and ruffled my hair in frustration.

"Alright...You answered like I told you right? If our testimonies match it won't be a problem" I said trying to calm her down.

"Did you call Ohm? Or did he call you? We must know where they went" She said.

I shook my head.

"If I knew I won't tell you don't worry" I said.

She already looked so on edge trying to cover up for them.

I chuckled and shook my head.

"Jerk...Couldn't you come up with a better excuse? Why do I have to spend the night at your house?" She asked then smacked my shoulder.

"To play video games obviously since we're dorks" I said chuckling.

She chuckled and shook her head.

"Do you think they're alright though?" She asked.

"I don't know but they should be right? I mean...We went through the trouble sneaking them out so they should have some dignity and be alright at least" I said shrugging.

Then started playing my guitar.

She sighed heavily.

"I sure hope so" She said.

(Meanwhile)

Ohm's P.O.V:

I wheeled the chair over to the dining table and started making some dumplings.

Nanon walked into the room after some time.

"Good morning freeloader" I said.

He didn't answer but sat down on a chair away from mine and looked at me in obvious awkwardness.

I sighed heavily and rolled my eyes.

"Are you thinking about it until now?" I asked.

"Huh? Me? Of course not" He said.

I looked up at him.

"Oh yeah?" I asked raising an eyebrow in amusement.

"Yes I'm not thinking about it at all" He said.

I nodded.

"About what exactly?" I asked.

"The kiss of course" He said.

Bingo...

I smirked and grabbed another dumpling.

"Kiss? What kiss? I was talking about the issue with who stole the chicken eggs from the animal shed last night" I said.

Then let go of the dumpling I was making.

"But you're obviously thinking about me" I said.

"No I'm not don't flatter yourself" He said.

I nodded in agreement.

"Right...You're not scared of me at all...That's why you're sitting at the far end of the table four chairs away from my chair" I said chuckling in disbelief.

Nanon's P.O.V:

What the hell?

When did he get so annoying?

I sighed heavily and rolled my eyes.

Then took the seat next to his chair.

"Hand some of those over I'll help" I said.

"Sure" He said then gave me some dumplings.

We started working on making the dumplings.

"That's not how you do it...Here let me show you" I said.

Then reached out and moved his hands over the dumpling and started correcting it for him.

But noticed that I was holding his hands so I immediately let go of them.

"Just watch me do it it's not like you won't learn it fast" I said.

"Right" He said.

I started showing him how to do it.

After some time we were done making them.

"I'm glad though" He said suddenly.

"What is it now?" I asked.

"Your hands aren't as cold as they were before so that means you're getting better" He said.

I pursed my lips into a thin line and looked at the floor in embarrassment.

He leaned his head on my shoulder.

"Isn't that good?" He asked.

I nodded.

Maybe I shouldn't burst his bubble.

I asked the village specialist who came to see him if I can get a check up and he said that my immunity system is damaged.

I'm basically prone to sickness because my body became dependent on the medication completely...

"Ai Non? Doesn't it make you happy?" He asked.

I chuckled and shook my head then flicked his forehead.

"It'll make me even happier if you could get off me...Your head is so heavy you ape my shoulder is getting numb" I said.

He sighed heavily and rolled his eyes then removed his head.

My stomach growled so I grabbed my chopsticks and started eating some of the dumplings.

"Hey...You're supposed to wait for my aunt and my cousin to come downstairs and eat too" He said.

"Eat this and shut up" I said.

Then shoved one of the dumplings in his mouth.

"Go see the specialist after this ok? Or I'll drag you there myself" I said.

Then continued eating.

(A week later)

Milk's P.O.V:

I paced the room back and forth.

"This is all wrong P" I said.

"What are you talking about?" My brother asked.

"The police shouldn't be looking for them...Nong Non shouldn't be sent to an institution...This is all wrong...That's not how this situation should be handled" I said.

P'Jimmy sighed heavily and facepalmed.

"What the hell did we get ourselves into?" He asked.

"You heard what that woman said...This matter should be handled with care or else...Nong Non will die" I said.

"What do you suggest we should do then? Talk to the other kid's parents?" He asked.

I nodded.

"That would be a good start but we should let nong Non meet that woman as well" I said.

"Are you crazy? That will make things worse" He said.

"We don't have any other choice but to wait and see but this meeting must happen" I said.

(Meanwhile)

Bright's P.O.V:

I walked out of my room and went to open the door.

A middle aged man was standing in front of me.

"Sawadee krap nong...I'm detective Aran from the Thai special investigation division department...We would like to ask you a few questions regarding the disappearance of your friends Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee and Nanon Korapat Kirdpan" He said.

I nodded and walked them in before closing the door.

"Coffee or tea?" I asked.

"That won't be necessary nong we'll make it quick" He said.

"I must insist" I said smiling.

The detective turned to his partner and they sighed heavily.

"Some water will do" He said.

I nodded and went to the kitchen and brought a tray with three glasses of water and instant juice sachets.

Then started mixing them before handing two of them over.

"Your friends disappeared before the holiday...Do you have any idea where they went?" He asked.

"Not really...We weren't even that close...Ohm Pawat attended the same faculty with me and my girlfriend and she talked to him a few times...We got along just fine after that but I won't call us friends since we only started talking about two months ago" I said calmly.

"Did you and your girlfriend hang out with them three days before their disappearance?" He asked.

"Yes we did" I said then sipped my drink.

"What did you talk about may I ask?" He asked.

"They ran away from the hospital that night so me and my girlfriend were merely trying to calm them down and convince them to go back" I said lying.

"But there's a surveillance footage from a restaurant that shows that you walked them to your car that night" He said.

"Yes...I took them to my house" I said.

"And why is that may I ask?" He asked after he was done sipping his drink.

I sighed heavily.

"As I said...They had just ran away from the hospital so they're bound to get nervous going back...I took them to my house to talk the matter out with them" I said.

"Why didn't you take them to the hospital yourself?" He asked.

"That Nanon guy seemed so nervous about going back for some reason so Ohm begged me to stay the night over at my place and promised to go to the hospital the next morning...When I woke up they were gone and I don't know where they went after that" I said lying.

The man sighed heavily and nodded.

"Your parents said that your girlfriend was at your house that day...Did she spend the night at your place too?" He asked.

I nodded so he raised an eyebrow.

"We only played video games...I was panicking because my parents showed up and Tu still hasn't left the house...Along with the disappearance of those two so I didn't act like my usual self" I said shrugging.

The man sighed heavily and nodded then turned to his partner.

"But the surveillance in front of your house shows that your girlfriend came over after your parents left" He said.

I shook my head and stood up.

"Come with me please" I said.

Then walked them through the house.

"The house has a back door so I sneaked Tu from there because I didn't want my parents to catch her" I said smiling awkwardly.

The man sighed heavily.

"Teenagers and their weird antics" The other detective said.

"You got it right khun" I said chuckling and clapped my hands awkwardly.

"Don't invite her over so much it's not good for a girl's reputation" The first detective said.

"Point taken" I said.

"Thank you for your co operation and tell us if they contact you or your girlfriend" He said.

"Of course" I said.

He nodded and they left soon after.

I closed the door and looked through the peephole.

Then sighed in relief when they were finally gone and slumped on my sofa.

That was a close one.
